Got the tracking number and I am excited to see the brand new item that will come with all the warranty, service, accessories, and support any other camera of this make would have in the US. Waiting for things to clear up on the billing side. But happy to say that there is a person involved from the company on that too. My son will be very pleased.

This post goes live and I receive a call from the Mr. Michael. I'm surprised to say the least. Mr. Michael is very apologetic on the points below and indebted to our Service Men and Women and ensures me that he will personally take care of this matter. I think it only fair to keep users and/or potential customers above board on the updates. And once a few other items are cleared up (shipping and billing information) I will re-rate this merchant accordingly. And I would like to thank Mr. Michael for getting involved and taking ownership and pride in his company.

Let Down - Big Time.
Placed an order for my son (who is a service member being deployed to the "bad part of the world") for Christmas. A very nice price on what is now being told to me is the import model of the Fujifilm X100s camera.
Got a huge run-around on the phone queue. Left in line for over an hour, then you speak to someone and they don't even listen for a minute and say "hold please" and the whole thing starts over again. Or you get sent to the main menu which tells you there hours of operation and then hangs up on you. Even if it's in the middle of the day.
Was asked to upgrade to the US model for additional cost. Informed them to cancel the order. Said it would take a couple of days. We'll see, and will update accordingly. Need the funds back in so I can get my son an alternate gift before he's deployed. So sad..."
"I had placed an order on Abe's of Maine website for a Samsung 55” UHD TV (comes with a free wall mount) during the Thanksgiving sale. They had the lowest price compared to any other re-sellers on the internet. Checked ResellerRatings and it showed an 8.5/10 score. Hence did not think twice to order from them. My mistake was not to read the recent reviews from other customers.
A couple of days later, I get a call from an Abe's of Maine representative (Jeff Stevens) and the guy says that the TV which I had ordered comes with an AU Panel which is inferior to the actual Samsung Panel (TH01) and only has a 90 Day warranty as against a 1 Year warranty from Samsung. He also said that he can ship me the better model for an extra $300. He also offered me a better Wall Mount and Rush shipping for free. I expressed my disappointment and asked him to cancel my order.
I got a follow up call this morning from another Abe's of Maine representative named Frank. He said that there was a mistake in the order and they will be correcting it and sending me the right product.
I'm waiting for the TV to be delivered."
"12/4/14 Update: I got another call from Abe's of Maine, this time from Frank. He apologized for the previous guy who called me on 12/2 and offered everything he could do to make it right and to win me back as a customer. I must say he did win me back. He is sending me a gift card I can use on my next purchase, which I intend to use. I want to thank Frank personally for taking the time to call me and apologize for someone else's wrong doing. You are the Abe's of Maine type of employee I know.
12/2/14: Bad customer service. I placed an order for the Sony A6000 on 11/29 from them because they had the lowest price. Today, 12/2 someone called me confirming my shipping address which I confirmed. Then the guy started asking me if I want the US or import model. I said import model which is what I ordered. Then he asked what color I want. I said I want what I ordered. First, he should at least be polite. He's rude. Second, he should already know the details of my order before calling me. He then warned me that the import model is all in Japanese. End of story, I ended up cancelling the order. I have bought from Abe's a couple of times in the past years. They were good before. Not anymore."
