"I just had a great pleasure of speaking with Jeff Stevens. He called to let me know I had ordered an incorrect model (euro vs standard US). He politely and thoroughly explained the difference in the model. Jeff offered to place the correct model in for me and nouting that this was a Christmas gift, offered to expedite my shipping ensuring I receive the lens for my fiancé right in time for Christmas. He was incredibly professional and thorough and am excellent customer support representative. I would highly recommend him along with Abe's of Maine for future electronics and photography purchase. "Ordered a Canon lens in the morning and received a phone call a few hours later from Jeff Stevens. He asked me what model of camera I had to verify that the lens would fit. After that he mentioned that I did not take advantage of their free expedited shipping offer (which I didn't know about) and manually overrided that on my order so I would receive the lens faster. Jeff was very polite and I look forward to receiving the lens in time for Christmas.

Update: Received UPS email that the lens will arrive on December 29th which would be 6 business days. Will adjust the ratings depending on when it actually arrives.

Jeff did not respond to my prompt email after noticing that 'rush' delivery still meant 6 business days. His call was just a ruse to get a better review for some 'contest' that I'm sure he made up. I didn't receive a shipping confirmation until I posted the initial review and he never contacted me after I noticed the delivery date and asked if that could be expedited as promised. Item did arrive, but I didn't appreciate the solicitation for a positive review before the transaction was completed."

"I placed an order on 12/12 for a lens. Received a VM message and an email from Jeff Stevens two days later telling me that I needed to call back to verify my order. I emailed back explaining that I couldn't call, but yes, I did order the lens, and please ship it.

On the 16th I still hadn't received a shipping notice, so I called and spoke to Jeff Stevens. He offered to upgrade my shipping to "rush" to ensure that I would receive the lens before Christmas.

I'm not sure why I had to speak to someone in person, as I wasn't making a huge purchase, so I'm removing a few stars for the delay in getting my order processed.

I will update this review if the rest of my experience is unsatisfactory, but Jeff was very pleasant to work with.
