"I purchased an air compressor from Amazon with a 4 week delivery date. ACME was selling the same compressor for more money but could deliver within a week. I cancelled my Amazon order and bought from ACME, expecting that they would honor their guarantee and price-match. They responded within an hour, saying that the Amazon reseller I referenced was not an authorized reseller and they couldn't price match. I replied back, providing 3 other retailers with lower prices. Home Depot was the lowest, with a price that was $60 below ACME's. They still refused, saying that the HD price was only good in my state (Virginia) and therefore was not eligible for price-matching. OK, fine, I then asked them to cancel my order so I could buy from HD. They refused, even though my order had been placed with them only a few hours earlier, saying the product had already been shipped. Wow. That's fast, except it really wasn't. The UPS tracking showed the product was not picked up until that evening, probably 5-6 hours after I last spoke with the very polite but not helpful ACME CS agent. The agent did offer to pay for shipping back to their warehouse, but at this point I didn't believe I could trust them to refund my money. I need the compressor, so I will just write this bad experience off as a lesson learned. Sad - I've spent thousands with them in the past and would like to do so in the future, but I won't do business with a firm that I don't trust to honor their commitments."
"Acme tools has been such a disappointment! I ordered something from their website and They took my money a week ago. Since then I have had 0 info on shipping. I called 3 times and even spoke to a supervisor who was just as clueless as all the other customer service employees! Yes their customer service is a joke. So far I only heard we can try to reach out to the manufacturer, we cant issue refund until they confirm, we don’t know when, we can try again tomorrow.
So far I have received nothing and they refuse to issue a refund so I can order from somewhere else!

"I ordered a birthday present for my husband that was over $500.---Hard saved for money for me. They sent a ship notice with Fedex tracking. Item never arrived the day specified and I couldn't get info from Fedex despite trying daily. I finally emailed Acme just to let them know that there was no tracking update info. I was told that IF my order did not arrive in 3 days I should "take it up with Paypal"!!! (I used paypal to pay). I was gobsmacked. So, they figured that my not receiving what I ordered and paid for was not their problem??? I just never had any reputable company do this to me before. I knew then that I could not trust them, and I called Paypal immediately and read them the email from Acme. They too thought it was pretty bad. They were great, and said that IF I did not receive my order within 3 more days they would personally file a claim for me, and not to worry. Acme is completely UNPROFESSIONAL, with horrible 'customer service'. I was finally able to get some news from Fedex and SUPPOSEDLY my order is to be delivered today. Despite this, this company could care less, and took my money and then washed their hands of any responsibility for making sure I received what was ordered. I do NOT recommend them and I will never order/buy from them again."

I pre-ordered the new EGO electric blower kit, which contains the blower, a 5ah battery, 550W fast charger, and a shoulder strap. The one I received does not include the shoulder strap, and the charger is a slow one.
The order confirmation email shows the shoulder strap and fast charger. The delivery email shows the shoulder strap and fast charger too, but the webpage that the emails link to has been changed, and the strap and fast charger are gone, replaced with the slow charger. I contacted customer service and they just told me I received what I was promised. This is BS.
And of course they won't let me post reviews on their webpage.
The difference is worth less than $50 but this is not right. If they just told me in advance that they made a mistake about the webpage, I would have been fine. Instead, they just changed the product webpage without saying a word and send me the lesser kit, expecting me to swallow it because I wouldn't want to pay the return shipping of the big box.
I spend thousands of dollars in the past at acmetools.com and I will not give them my business again. "

I placed an order on November 19th for some Dewalt lithium ion batteries and a
“Free” jigsaw tool 20 V X-RAY Max. I paid $200 and received the batteries. NO JIGSAW AS ADVERTISED. I received emails from your company on 11/27/21, 12/4/21, 12/9/21, 1/1/22, 1/16/22 and 1/30/22 stating that I should expect delays. I checked your website on January 16 and you had the jigsaw in stock. Your company replied that this was a promotional jigsaw and you could not use your stock to fulfill my order from your company. That was ridiculous at the time and still is. Don’t sell what you don’t have! Take care of your customers and don’t take their money if you can’t provide them with the product. AGAIN, you had this item in stock.
It has been TWO months since I have received any email updates from you and FOUR MONTHS SINCE YOU TOOK MY MONEY FOR A PRODUCT YOU SOLD AND DIDN’T DELIVER. I AM FINISHED WAITING. Tomorrow I am contacting the Better Business Bureau and writing as many reviews as I can on the problem I have had with your company. I would prefer to just get the tool."

They sell thousands of items daily so in my case I got a large cart of items with a hefty sum and I even got free shipping and discount. They helped with cart and promo code problem and quickly fixed it so I could finish my order. So far so good. Don't worry, I'm a watchin'."

About a month ago I ordered a natural gas heater from Acme tools. When the installer tried to set it up, he discovered that it had two broken parts. I called the company and they told me to set it on the porch and they would send FedEx out to pick it up in the morning. So I did just that. In the morning I met the FedEx driver who had the instructions to pick up the box but said he was not given a call tag. He took the box and said he would match it with the call tag when he got back to the facility. The box never got back to Acme and they refuse to refund me. I tried to appeal via my payment source, PayPal, and they cannot help me because FedEx did not give me a tracking number. I am out $200.
