"Acortech Company sold us used item claiming as brand new. When item returned, they falsely accused us of not returning all items that came in the box.

Order Number was 165587 placed on 07-10-2006. We purchased a Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 3.0 Keyboard and Mouse Combo for a total of $39.95 including Shipping and Handling. Item Description says unit is Brand New in Retail Packaging. When we received the Item, the Keyboard had scratches on the side, Mouse had scratches underneath, Receiver's packaging was torn and open, and finally, no Batteries were included (Item Description says Batteries are suppose to be included).

We returned the Item (Keyboard, Mouse, Receiver and everything else that came in the box) under RMA 105895 on 07-31-2006 and Acortech Company received it on 08-04-2006 (UPS Tracking 1Z63Y15E9052402223). We received a call on 08-09-2006 from Acortech Company's RMA Department, accusing us of not sending back the Mouse.

We explained to them that we sent back the Mouse along with the Keyboard, Receiver and everything else that came in the box. They refused to believe us and continued falsely accusing us. We tried explaining to them (with no success) that the Mouse is of no use to us as it will not work without the Receiver that they claim to have received as a return. Later that day on 08-09-2006, we received an email saying Acortech Company would only refund us $17.95 (instead of the entire $39.95) because we kept the Mouse to ourselves.

In response to Acortech Company’s FALSE evidence below about UPS’ shipping weight of original merchandise and returned merchandise not matching:

As per UPS Tracking System, the original UPS Tracking 1Z63Y15E0351367302 that was used on 07-11-2006 to ship the merchandise to us in Plano, TX, was REUSED by Acortech Company on 08-17-2006 to ship some other merchandise to Salt Lake City, UT to someone else, which weighed 3.00 lbs. We are in Plano, TX and our original shipment weight was 2.00 lbs and so was our returned merchandise weight.

You do not have to take our word for it – just copy-paste the UPS Tracking 1Z63Y15E0351367302 at UPS’ website and it would speak for itself. We feel Acortech Company is nothing but a fraud. First they sell us used product claiming as brand new and then they blatantly accuse of not returning something that is of absolutely no use to us. We have returned everything that came in the box."
