"Very, very good e-tailer. Their website looks great, and they process very fast. Prices are VERY VERY VERY low! I love it!

The biggest downside is that AT LEAST 1/2 of their inventory is not in stock, that's a huge let down.

"This is BY FAR the worst and most UNETHICAL company I have ever dealt with. They feel absolutely no responsibility to you as a customer. I have placed a few orders because they are close and to give them a fair chance but I am now fully convinced that they are by far the biggest scam with the worst service on the web. I would litterally pay DOUBLE anywhere else just to avoid them!

My first larger order was for a marker and a few upgrades. It wasn't much cheaper than retail stores but they had more upgrades available. When the items arrived ALL of them looked used (the marker was VERY OBVIOUSLY used). When I called to ask them how this could be possible they told LIE AFTER LIE taking no responsibility whatsoever. I talked to a jerk who claimed to be the manager (after waiting nearly 2 days for him to even give me a call back - they always told me he was at lunch). He lied to me for a while like the others reps do then turned into a broken record until he made me so upset that I hung up. I'm sure that was his plan. These people truely are horrible and should not be able to sell goods if they are going to be such SCAMMERS.

I do not leave bad feedback normally and I am only doing this to try to help even just one person. DON'T RISK IT. If they screw you in some way and you want to get what you paid for they will make you pay more. They never pick up the bill for their mistakes and lies, YOU DO.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER DEAL WITH THESE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PEOPLE

"A friend of mine introduced me to Action Village in early June of this year. Since then, it has become my number one stop for paintball products. The order processing is excellent, and the shipping is lightning fast (using FedEx Home, note this is mostly due to a 3 hr distance from the warehouse). The few times I've ordered elsewhere have been because ActionVillage did not have the item I was searching for, and all of those experiences have confirmed to me that Action Village is the place to shop."

"After looking around for a while online, I found a WGP Autococker Trilogy Pro with SF on their website for a reasonable price. I purchased it over the week end and received with in the week. Everything up until then was fine, when I opened up the box I had an entirely different paintball gun than the one that I had ordered. On top of that the gun that I had received was less expensive than the one I had paid for. So I contacted them telling them what had happened. The gun I had received was just a downgrade from the one I had ordered and that it was fine if I kept the gun as long as they refunded the difference. Well I went out and played with some friends of mine and the gun wasn't working right at all. Currently I have around 10 years of paintball experience, 5 of those being with different auto cockers alone. The guns bolt wasn't being pulled all the way back and would only allow part of the ball to go in the chamber and then chop the heck out of it. So I just got off of the phone with them asking them if I could exchange (not even return) the gun for the one that I had originally ordered. They told me that since it was opened that I couldn't that they couldn't help me. I asked to speak to a manager and he said that I would have to pay to have it shipped to the manufacturer and wait to have it fixed. To me this seems like horrible customer service. So here I am, with a totally different gun that I had ordered, which doesn't even work. Does that seem like it is worth $300 to you? "

"I had ordered from this store years ago and was quite happy, but my latest experience seems to negate any and all good experiences I had. I placed an order on friday, feb 24th, knowing that they would not be likely to ship it until the next monday. I got an email on monday stating that the item had shipped and giving me a USPS tracking number. The odd thing is that the postal system states that they received the electronic shipping info on that thursday and did not receive the item undil saturday, more than a week after I ordered it. It then took the postal service a full week to deliver the package. While this part was for one of my extra guns that I usually loan to other people, this still left me without a ball detent for a day of play in my number 2 gun. The fact that it took two weeks to get me something sent in a padded envelop is ridiculous, but could be forgiven. The evidence that they lied about the ship date, however, makes me hesitant to do business with them ever again. "

"I ordered shoes that were advertised as in stock and they sent me completely different shoes. I requested expedited shipping for the product since it was a blatant error on their part, but both a customer service rep and her manager refused to upgrade shipping to me. This was a terrible experience since this mistake happened the day before Christmas! Now the gift will get here over a week late."

"I purchased items from actionvillage.com on 11/26/05. I received emails saying the item was shipped 11/28/05. Of course, they only provided delivery confirmation, so that you cant really track the package, you can only see when it arrives. Well, it is now Dec. 12th, and I have yet to receive the package.

Action Village's customer service was incompetent, as they said theres nothing they can do because they dont know where it is. They said they can send out an investigation after 14 business days to see where the package is at, and it takes 8 business days after that to finish the investigation.

So ridiculous! i probably wont even get my package till after christmas!

poor customer service!
cheapos use cheapest shipping method possible!

i certainly will not purchase anything from them again.

"Action Village ruined my sons 10th Birthday. The fact that my son was so happy with the few small items he did get made it even harder on me as a father of a wonderful and appreciative boy. He didn't get the “big” birthday present because of Action Village. When I called customer service I was told in a nutshell "Just wait longer".

From their site "Action Village ships most packages via UPS air or ground."

I have ordered from Action Village on 2 previous occasions and both times the items were delivered within 3 days by UPS using their free shipping option. Not having any reason to think this would have changed, I ordered using the same option and have been waiting 7 days so far because they shipped USPS.

Action Village has really let me down; I have learned my lesson and won't ever trust them again.

"Being in the middle of nowhere Nebraska, I have no paintball stores, so I am used to waiting 4-7 business days for a delivery from any online retailer. But when I recieved my order in 2 days, I was amazed. I really didn't know that 3-10 day shipping could arrive in just 2.
Beyond that, I searched high and low for websites that sell the paintball equipment that I needed for a reasonable price, and this is the only one. Everywhere else charges a good 10-20% more than actionvillage, and then tack on an extra $5-10 for "handling" charges.
I have ordered from them two times, and both times, I had a 5-10lb package get shipped for a flat rate of just $9.10, no handling charges, and no overpriced shipping.
This place will definately get my business from now on.

"I've made 2 prior purchase with Actionvillage, and each time was very pleasant. Sadly my most recent and probally last made me so mad I decided to write this. Their shipping is pretty fast, they keep you updated with emails, which is good. But when I bought some paintballs last week they sent me the wrong ones. They said the quality is the same and made by the same manufacture and would not accept a refund or return. Had I known they would have sent a different product, I would not have purchased from them. Essentially they performed a bait and switch on me, and really I don't have much recourse. BUYER BEWARE"

"I placed the order on Friday afternoon (12/31), and received e-mail notification on Monday (1/3) that my order had shipped. Received the package on Wednesday. Everything was well packed and exactly what I ordered.

They had a good price on the item I ordered (my first paintball marker :) ) and they seem to have a large selection of products to choose from.
