"For starters it takes 1-3 days to even get an initial response on questions. When they say their hours online, these are loose, I tried calling several times during the weak and can’t get anyone.
My main issue is I ordered a computer and was told it was shipping within 3 days and was provided a tracking number. 2-3 days later I was told that was not a correct number and my product would not be shipping till after Christmas. Now I’m trying to get this cancelled so I can have a present for my wife’s Christmas present... not going well as I can’t get a response from customer service because of their crappy hours. "
"I was on hold for about 15 minutes before I could speak with a representative. When I finally got him on the phone, I explained my situation. I ordered two separate items. One was on back order indefinitely, and the second item was in stock. Because of the indefinite backordered item, the second item had not been shipped (I've waited over a week at this point). This shipping policy was not stated at the time I ordered said products. When I discussed this with the representative, the representative made excuses and explained Adorama's shipping policies to me instead of working towards finding a solution. I'd already wasted 15 minutes on hold, I don't need to waste more time listening to excuses as to why things are the way they are. When I expressed my frustration with the representative and tried to start working towards finding a solution, the representative muted his end of the call without warning. I stayed on the line for an additional 5 minutes for the representative to come back. The representative then hung up the phone. I had to call back again and wait another 15 minutes on hold prior to speaking with another representative that could solve my problem.
Why would a company hold on to a product that a customer had ordered because a second item is indefinitely on backorder? Wouldn't it create a better customer experience to get the customer products as soon as possible? If you're looking to purchase products online, go elsewhere. Adorama customer support is pretty awful and their policies do not serve the customer. Take your business to a company that serves the customer better."
"Trying to buy a scanner and discovered it was low inventory nationwide. Received an email this AM that Adorama had the thing in stock and canceled a previous order with another retailer. When I called (twice) I was advised it was backordered for another week, so on the strength of the email, I cancelled a valid order. I will never buy from Adorama again and will put them on my spam list."

"I made an order 2 months ago with the amount of $318.97, the shipment took 1 month to reach my country and other 2 weeks held by the customs , I contacted the carrier company and Adorma themselves dozens of time with no decent replay, finally the carrier company after 2 other weeks update the tracking information and says (Unable to deliver shipment, returned to shipper.
Recommended action: No action is required. The package is being returned to the shipper.)
I contacted FEDEX asking why ? they replied (the customs refused the shipment and there was no fees and nothing paid) although I contacted my local custom office and he said we didn't refused any shipment!!
However, after a dozen of emails between me and Adorma with no results, only a robot replay each time, they said the shipment returned and you have to pay a total of $439.76 including import fees !!!!!
why ? because you refused to receive the shipment (the shipment I didn't even received ) !!!!!!!
and FEDEX says no fees was paid ?! so how Adorma said I have to pay ?!

So, I ordered Flashpoint Zoom Li-on X R2 TTL On-Camera Round Flash Speedlight Kit For Nikon (Godox V1).
And as a separate order Flashpoint R2 Mark II iTTL 2.4 GHz TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Nikon (Godox X2)
The flash supposed to come with 3 items. The kit, Case and the hat. After I received it I was very excited and did not notice that one item is missing. The CASE. So I contacted Adorama via chat and the guy/girl is telling me that the CASE is on the back order. That is fine but why no one tells me in the first place? Oh because they are trying to defraud customers hoping that no one will notice that the CASE is missing.
In fact I received email saying:

FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD!!!!!"

"Do not buy from this company. I ordered a used monitor from them for what would be a decent price if the monitor was in perfect condition. It was $500 and new it's $800 at Microcenter, the monitor is the Alienware AW3418. I received the monitor a couple days later than they said and it came in a disgusting box. I opened it up and tried turning on the monitor and the screen was super broken. I called Adorama to return it or get a replacement sent. They said that the monitor is suppose to be broken. What in the world, that is a ridiculous price for a broken monitor! When we were ordering we tried our best to make sure it was legit since we've never bought from this company and we didn't see anywhere saying that it was broken. Also, why would anyone in their right mind buy a $500 broken monitor? They said we could send it back as a courtesy by them, but we had to pay for shipping. That was $150 and wasted a lot of my time! This has been maybe the worst purchasing experience of my life. Makes me sick knowing companies like this are still out there. Just terrible and no empathy what so ever. Very surprised that they have grown to their size. Just greedy and slimy, selling broken items for top dollar. Do not buy from them."
