"Feb.22 2014...I had enough of my PC BLUES! I found a program to purchase Geek Tech Toolbox to hopefully end my problems. After I downloaded it,I was promped to call a phone number which led me to Advanced Tech Support, which I also had to purchase. These IIT professionals remotely went into my computer and fixed most of my problems on my six yr old machine. Its a lot faster than it was, most problems fixed. As asked me if I had a antivirus program, they again sold me a program for keeping me protected forever. As far as ATS goes I have a team of support for a year should my machine go crazy again. "Advance Tech Support did not ask for this review, although I wanted to let your company know of some things that are on my mind; items that maybe need some improvement on.
1.) The most important item is communication with the customer and the customer being able to understand the Tech. If there is a language barrier right off the bat, there is no work being accomplished whatsoever because of that communication gap. I think it should be an established rule that anyone hired for a job having more than one language in talking and understanding, that they are also very understandable by the customer also, otherwise they should not be online with that customer to whom the tech is still trying to learn the language of that Customer.
2.) Another type of communication would be to let your customer know if your still working on their computer. When my Tech was supposedly working (I really couldn't tell, the curser didn't move for almost 1-1/2 to two hours), I wondered if my Tech was disconnected and had another customer he was working with. Mind you, a few other Techs have been on my computer through the day, besides this Tech, so not being able to use my computer for so long was getting a little out of hand. When I know the computer is being worked on, I don't question it, but this is hours were talking about during this day.
Other than those two items, I am pretty happy with Advance Tech Support and my computer running smoothly after every monthly cleaning scan helps. Thank you. Shelli "
