The fan has a good recess in the roof and the ceiling high is low. I mounted remote about 5 ft away on the wall. I does not work. I have to remove the remote and point I directly at the fan to work."

"I ordered a Husky HB4500 Trailer Tongue Jack from AdventureRV.net. The jack arrived very quickly. When I went to install it the bolt pattern did not match the bolt pattern on my trailer tongue. When I advised them I was told to contact the manufacturer, which I did. The manufacturer said the only solution would be to drill new holes! That would be a job for sure. When I requested a RMA from AdventureRV.net, I was informed that the jack was a non-returnable item. Too bad too sad. After spending over $200 with this company this is what I get. I will NEVER do business with this company again! There is no customer service. You cannot talk to a live person and their chat option is a joke; they direct you to a link to fill out a ticket."

"I ordered an awning and air conditioner... among other things from this place. Post order they may have had the worst customer service I have ever had. The air conditioner came smashed... I asked several simple questions and was told to just go the the mfg site... they don't have tech support... and that they are an e-tailer and won't take phone calls. The responses were canned and not helpful. The resources on their site are terrible and there is very little info about the products to start with. I will never order from them again. "

"Rooftop unit I ordered was very poorly packaged which resulted in the shroud being pretty scratched up from being exposed while being drug across the floor during shipping. Adventure RV replied fairly quickly to my emails but not with much friendliness. I just wanted to talk to a live person over the phone to get the issue resolved. They wouldn't call me or give me a phone number to call. One email said they would give me a small discount for the scratches or send out a new shroud. I emailed back asking for the new shroud. The next day they said they wouldn't send out a new shroud but would send someone to pick up the unit and refund me. It's been about a week and haven't heard anything about a refund or discount for the damage from shipping. I don't think I will buy from them again. Poor customer service in my opinion"

"This company could learn something from Zappos...I ordered a Dometic RV Toilet from their website. This process was very easy and their shipping very reasonable and timely...When I figured out that I had ordered the wrong toilet, they were quick to provide me with an RMA#, but that's when the transaction went south...I went to Fedex store as directed to send the item back and they quoted me a shipping cost of $65...WTH...why spend $65 to return it? That's 62% of what I paid for it. Rather then help me by providing a preauthorized shipping bill which I'd gladly pay for, they just said there was NOTHING THEY COULD DO....Being in retail myself, I'm sure they have a negotiated rate with FEDEX & UPS which would be far less than $65, but they don't want to help...DON'T BUY anything from Adventure RV if you aren't 100% positive about what you need and may need to return it....They need to rethink their customer service...back to Camping World for me...while their prices may be a little higher, the cost of a return is not."

"Shopping was no-hassle. They did require a street address versus General Delivery at the Post Office. Price was the best I could find and I was happy with speed of shipping, delivery, etc.

"The shipping box was badly beaten up and the plastic cover for the AC was cracked in one corner. The frame for the unit was also bent. I repaired it all satisfactorily but it should have been shipped better and more carefully and I shouldn't have had to repair a new Air Conditioner before I could install it. I installed it and it works very well and as advertised. Works much better and is much quieter than the Dometic Brisk Air unit it replaced. "
