"My traveling companion had a family emergency and to cancel 5 days before the trip. Affordable Tours stated that there was 100% penalty - no reimbursement. I contacted the tour operator we were traveling with, they advised that the penalty was 50%. I recontacted Affordable Tours and they stated that there was a glitch in their system.
I also had to pay an additional solo travel supplement. Not sure what the payment was for, as for most of the rooms I ended up with were with twin beds. I would think that I would be given full to king bed."
