"The communication from the Service Department was horrendous! My initial consultation was great, they got me a shipping label and were quick and effective. Things went south after that though. They didn't let me know that they had received my rifle for repair. They, didn't communicate when it was being looked at, to tell me what was wrong with it and about how much they thought it would cost to repair it. Lastly, the rifle upon receiving it, was not fully functional. They repaired one problem and left the other. Not impressed with this type of service. When I send a 1500$ FX Monsoon rifle to be serviced I would like some communication, and thorough service. They did package it safely and securely for return though. "
"Very impressed with ordering experience, far surpassed what I expected. Will definitely used them again and recommend them to friends. "
"A of A has excellent customer service, great product line and good prices. Highly recommended."
"Purchased a Daystate Regal XL, Aztec scope & rings . Very happy with the rifle. A little tricky getting the eye relief just right on the scope, but the accuracy of this rifle is AMAZING ! one hole groups most of the time if I do my part. I need to purchase some scope caps but I'm very happy with the experience."
"The airgun I ordered Form Airguns of Arizona Is a fx Impact. It arrived in perfect condition inspected and Pretested by AOA .I am very pleased with my purchase from ordering to shipment and will be doing more business with AOA."
"I've purchased two fine used airguns from these folks. An Air Arms S510 .25, and an FX Ranchero .22 Pistol. Both were in excellent condition, arrived properly packed, and the prices were very good. Both of these items are needle-threaders, used for rat control. I've also purchased an MTC Viper Connect scope and mount, cleaning supplies, a regulator, and trigger upgrade for an older Gamo Hunter 220. This trigger upgrade is very nice. Made this a very nice break barrel air rifle. I'm waiting for my FX Crown .25 Gray Laminate to arrive this week. I enjoy doing business with Airguns of Arizona. They have just about every high-end item you may want. Thank you, Fred, Napa CA."
"Thanks again for quality service , Air guns of Arizona is a great place for high end pcp guns and service , the staff is great and parts department guys are top notch , I would give them 6 stars if I could "
"First off let me thank Rich my salesman he was absolutely exemplary!!! Thanks so much... My dealings with AOA has been tremendous they are great, courteous, and very informative!!!
Now my airgun, all I can say is just damn, awesome, Wow, I have shot many many guns from being a recreational shooter to the US Marines, the Army, a Police Ofcer and my Daystate Renegade is unlike anything I have ever shot, it has a good and comfortable weight to it, very balanced, holds great in my shoulder and is a dream to shoot. To me it’s more than shooting a gun it’s a experience that I’m sure will turn into an adventure. The synthetic stock is simply wonderful the barrel air tube action and all metal parts are perfect. The design of the gun is truly incredible and then the trigger the best description is it’s pure magic!!! Please do yourself a favor call AOA ask for Rich, he will help you with whatever you need or want!!! My advise is buy yourself a Daystate more than a airgun it’s a experience and adventure you want regret....I’m even now deciding on which Daystate will be my next........."
"I blew an O Ring on my Brocock and they sent me several to replace it the same day!!"
"I was nervous about ordering from AOA as a result of seeing all these bad reviews. But they appeared to be the only one with the air rifle I was looking for. My purpose was to get an accurate and deadly short range squirrel and rabbit hunting rifle without the fear of a wild shot out of a .22 firearm when I'm shooting up into a tree. As well as the ability to shoot in my back yard. So not being an aficionado I don't know much more than what I just wrote.
But I took the chance on AOA and ordered everything through the website. No issues with the order and prompt shipment...about a week. The package came was properly packed and everything looked. The gun worked right out of the box and after about 5 pellets I don't see an issue. Not sure that I will as I'm new to this.
But as for AOA I did want to have another voice out there that gave them more than 1 star if they deserved it (and so far for me I can't see why they don't)"
"I would give them minus 5 stars. this website blocked my one star rating.very clever way to manipulate ratings! Purchase was a Diana 56 Targethunter .22. I mounted a base and scope.than proceeded to sight in. I soon discovered the entire metal section would slide 3/4 of an inch back and forward in stock.checked for loose screws all were tight.Called Air Guns of Arizona, spoke to jarred.Zero satisfaction or responsibility. I was told to contact Umarex for repairs. Red Flags I should have paid attention to frequent listing of this specific model as refurbished calibers .177 & .22 in this particular model. This stock sliding problem is nothing new.I reference customer satisfaction for this model NOTE: Pyramyd Air website. Customer in 2015 refers to exact same problem. What was Pyramyds response? They sent him a new rifle! Lessons learned, business owners set policy and employes follow good or bad. And lets not forget the manufactures responsibility. Sadly, when companies are purchased by large conglomerates. The overall quality and quality control become secondary to profit margin.I have a Diana 48/52 there is no comparison.Umarex has not continued the quality of Diana. The stock movement was a problem in 2015.The rifle I received 3/31/17 with the same problem.Umarex quality control loses to the bottom line."
"AoA,s customer no-service phone system keeps you in queue for an undetermined length of time. If you leave a message, they may or may not phone back. When they do phone back, the 'technician' is unknowledgeable and repeatedly puts you on hold to ask someone else. AoA has a strict 30 day return policy so be wary of shopping in advance for gifts that won't be delivered until later. If you write the company CEO, he doesn't respond. An F- for AoA"
"On October 13, 2015, I purchased (2) RWS 34P Pro Compact Rifles from Airguns of Arizona (AoA). I received both rifles on Friday, October 16, 2015. Both rifles arrived safely, and were well packaged. I requested that both rifles be sent to me unused/untested, as I wanted to ensure that I got brand new guns, and not items that had been used/returned.
After inspecting the guns, I found that both rifles had a similar defect. The forearm screws on both rifles have stripped ends. Either these rifles were previously tampered with and returned, or they came that way as a factory defect. I should note that neither rifle was wrapped up like other RWS rifles that I have received. (Previous rifles were tightly wrapped in plastic with a rubber band clamping the end shut. These rifles were loosely wrapped in plastic.)
I contacted AoA about these issues, and was authorized at 8:54AM, on October 19, 2015, to return one of the guns for a refund . The gun was not shot, nor was the scope or mount opened or used, it appeared as new. I said that I had shot the other gun and was happy with it, so I would deal with Umarex USA to get replacement parts. I told them that I would ship the gun the next day, which I did. After I had submitted the gun to UPS to ship back to AoA, I received an email from AoA saying that "Since you waived this check [the initial inspection/testing] we have no obligation to take this back as defective, and have to operate under the assumption that this was user inflicted." I assured them that, "I did NOT damage these rifles. BOTH rifles came with the stripped out screws." I also reminded them that nothing is written in their online return policy, or was conveyed via email, or over the phone when I placed the order, that says that you can't return a defective item if you don't have the inspection performed. I told them that I would not have purchased the rifles if I had known this was their policy. They didn't budge on the matter, nor did they seem to care. They said they would refuse the package and have it sent back to me, and I would eat $50 in shipping charges.
As it now stands, I was able to pick up the package from UPS before it left the facility. However, I am stuck with 2 defective rifles where I will need to spend somewhere between $40 - $60 to have them shipped in for warranty service or purchase replacement parts.
I suspect that AoA saw an opportunity and intentionally unloaded 2 defective rifles on me, to avoid dealing with the issue themselves. I will NOT be purchasing anything from them in the future."
"I had an excellent experience with AOA. My order was about a week late, because, along with the rifle, I had ordered a pump. I called and they indicated that the pump was past due from the builder, and they would ship the gun and pump as soon as it arrived. As promised, they did just that. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of both items.
AOA have gone out on a limb to import some particularly fine guns from overseas. They may not have what you want immediately in stock. You need to give them a break, and exercise a little patience and I think you will be satisfied with what you get.
If you simply can't wait, then you should order from the big box distributor and get what they stock. I'd rather wait a few days and get something special. My Daystate Regal is beyond excellent. I couldn't be more pleased. And my treatment by AOA was a good experience. They returned every one of my five phone calls ( with technical questions and shipping updates) within a half hour. I happily give them five stars."
"Let me begin with my customer service experience. Brad and Brian were both extremely helpful which enabled me to purchase the following airguns. They answered all of questions. Also all air rifles were perfect right out of the box.
I made it to 65 and bought myself a present , okay maybe three. A RWS 350 mag, then a HW95 Luxus with a 4x16x44 Mamba scope, love this gun so much, I bought a HW 35 Luxus for my squirrel problem. Beautiful gun with walnut stock.
I got my first air rifle BB gun when I was 7 for Christmas. I was 12 when I got my Blue Streak; loved that gun and shot it everyday. Shot thousands through that gun. Don't know what happened to the gun. It just came up missing.
To make along story short: Gave up big game rifle hunting and became a big game archery hunter and got my share of elk and deer. Went to archery target shooting and won state and sectional ' s and a few others. Decided at 65 it might be time to sit awhile so I bought the air rifles. The HW Luxus' are both "tack drivers."
Airguns of Arizona know their products."
