"So here's a funny story...I found this site while searching for flea/heartworm medication for my dog. They were the least expensive and looked reputable and legitimate. I emailed yesterday wanting to know where my order was and stating my displeasure with the long wait. I received a one sentence email back - "dear customer, here is your tracking number ------." I too received a fake tracking number. Well, the item finally arrived today. I ordered a 3-pack of the mediation, and could not believe that they shipped three loose vials - no sealed box! Isn't that against regulations? The funny part of the story? I was so upset about the condition of the medication, the lack of customer service, and that it took 2-1/2 weeks to receive, I decided to check out reviews - and OMG! My wait time was nothing compared to the other stories! I was sure I had read reviews on this company and certainly don't recall seeing these comments. If you're reading these comments trying to decide if you should try out this company - BELIEVE WHAT IS HERE - DON'T RISK IT!"
"Perhaps the worst customer service of any company that I have ever dealt with. I placed an order on May 7th for Percorten-V that our pet needs every 25 days to stay alive. When I had not received the order after 10 days, I called and was told that it took our vet a week to respond. I checked and that was untrue so I called again and they said the Percorten would not be in until a few days later. I told them it was now in critical stage and they would have to send next day delivery. It is now 1 month later, they charged my credit card on the day of the order and I have still not received the medication. Had to rush our pet to the vet to get emergency shot so she would not die....have called several times with no response. With this type of service, they will in all liklihood be out of business in the very near future."
"I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY IS ALSO A SCAM. I AM STOPPING PAYMENT ON MY CREDIT CARD TODAY. PLACED ORDER ON 5/9/13 AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ON 5/30/13. I CALLED AT LEAST 4 TIMES AND RECEIVED THE RUN AROUND ALSO, NO MANAGER TO TALK TO TALK, ETC. JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE THAT HAS POSTED A COMPLAINT.

"HORRIBLE company to do business with! I placed an order and for two months I tried to find out why it was still being "processed" and not being shipped. On the rare occasion I was able to reach someone it was the SAME woman and her answer as to why it hadn't been shipped was different every time. Finally she suggested a refund, which I accepted and although it was promised that the refund transaction would be done that day, it still hasn't been fulfilled. I've pretty much given up on the $160, but I did file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and what I found was that there are tons of other customers that have had the same problem and also filed a complaint. Please, for those of you having issues, don't hesitate to contact the BBB....Their licence should be taken away and there should be a fine to pay...in the least."

"WOW... wish I had read this too! We ordered Adequan from All Vet Med. It is on back order from Manufacture. They gave bogus shipping number for UPS, then when I called they told me it was on back order but already charged the credit card! STAY AWAY from them. "
"So wish I'd read these reviews before I ordered from them. Placed my order 4/15. Called in a couple of weeks to check why I hadn't received the prescription. Said they hadn't heard back from my vet. I suggested their calling my vet, but I guess they don't do that. I finally received an email that my order had shipped on 5/3 - waited a few days, then checked with UPS - it was a bogus tracking number! I emailed AllVetMed. No response. Called again to check why I hadn't gotten the meds. Once again I was told they hadn't received a FAX back from my vet. But I received an email my order had shipped?!?! She explained that was a mistake. I called my vet who pulled my chart and said they had sent 2 FAXes on 4/19 and 5/2. I called AllVet again, but they said my vets must have had the wrong FAX number. I called my vet and asked them to please call AllVetMed and give the okay for the prescription. I called back an hour later and finally they had received the okay, but weren't going to mail it out until the next day and she wasn't even sure if it would happen then. I asked to speak to the supervisor to inform him what had happened to me and that according to all these reviews, I wasn't the only one who had to wait over a month!! I was left on hold for over four minutes and no one came back on the phone. Terrible customer service, but they didn't hesitate to charge my credit card on 4/15 - the day I placed the order. "
"Is this website a scam? I ordered my dogs medication on April 23rd. The first red flag should have been that they took my money IMMEDIATELY. By April 30th the website still said it was "processing". I emailed them to inquire, the told me they were still waiting on the vet approval. I called my vet, they had never even received a fax from AllVetMed. So I emailed them again. They finally faxed my vet and my vet faxed the approval on the same day(April 30). Two days later I email AllVetMed, they claim to have not received it. I then called AllVetMed, all of a sudden they realize they did have the approval and say my order will be shipped soon. May 7, online my order still says "processing". I call AllVetMed and ask if my order has been shipped. It's been two weeks now and my order has still not been shipped. I cancel my order and order through 1800petmeds. 24 hours later my order is in the mail. I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered from AllVetMed, now I have to see if they'll give me my money back or if Ill have to go through my bank."
"Been getting the run-around for over 5 weeks. Ordered two items, one was backordered and when it came in stock, the other item was backordered. Finally after 4 weeks I was told both items will be shipped within 24 to 48 hours. Still nothing! Upon calling again I was told that both items are on backorder again and they could not tell me when they would be in stock. Asked to speak to supervisor, was told he wasn't there but would be the next day. I called again, he would not speak to me because he wasn't available. Left message to call me, never happened. Very poor customer service.
That was it... I've had enough!! I cancelled my order and told them I would never buy from them again. I told the girl I was sorry, I should not be taking my frustrations out on her... the management is to blame. They used to be really good, never had any problems until the past couple of orders. Seems like new management or something going on.. not my problem, but it turned out to be my problem... They just lost another loyal customer and the sad part is I don't think they even care. Worst part is that my doggie is suffering and needs his arthritis meds. Ended up paying top dollar at the vet. They don't seem to have any compassion for ailing pets... such a shame..."
"The customer service representative NEVER pick up a phone call. If you need to reach them, call VET department. But better not buy from this company, you will end up waiting ages to receive your pet's medication.Anyway, I canceled my order and placed an order on Petmed 1800. "
"I had tried to order heartworm meds from two vendors and both times I got told that I could not get what I wanted because of a manufacturer's recall and because if they sent me 12 months dosages that they would expire before they could be used. I was getting very disgusted with the run around. I saw that Tri-Heart Plus by Merck would be a suitable choice and I wanted to find a good price on it. I found it for a very good price at Allvetmed. I got free shipping, could use paypal and the price was right. After I placed the order, I read a ton of negative reviews and was a bit nervous but I waited to see what would happen. I received my order confirmation and they I didn't get an email stating I needed to contact them about my prescription. I received a shipping confirmation. A few short days later, I received my product. I do not understand why there are so many negative comments about this vendor. I had no issues whatsoever. They had free shipping for what I was ordering and I even found a promo code for a further discount on this order and no sales tax. I am happy that the third time I place my order was the charm. Just goes to show you cannot believe everything you read and your experience could be very different from that of others. "
"Stay away from this vendor. On April 5th I placed an order. It was supposed to arrive in 5-8 days. They didn't even bother to contact my vet until April 10. I called them on April 16 to ask what happened to my order. I was told they had been out of Frontline, and that it arrived that day, and they would ship my whole order that day priority mail, and I would receive tracking information. 2 days later I still had no package, and no tracking number. I called again, and was given the same story. I asked that they ship it next day air to compensate for their failure to deliver my products on time. They refused, so I canceled my order. Stay away."
"I would like to add my complaint to the already long list that this company has accumulated. Stay Away!!!! This is the worst company I have EVER dealt with! Its easy to offer cheaper prices when you dont intend on delivering. This company should be shut down.I waited a week for a shipping confirmation, never got one so I called. They said it shipped. I asked why I hadnt recd a tracking #. They said they would send it to me. 2 days later still no #, called back. I was told the order was back ordered. Now Im disgusted at being lied to the first time so I cancel the order. I am told that it will take 48 hrs to show on my credit card. 4 days later still has not come off my card. I check my email and see a shipping confirmation on the order,supposedly shipped 3 days after I told them to cancel. Entered UPS tracking # from confirmation and they have no info at all. Its a bogus tracking #!
I called them back AGAIN!. They tell me the order will be cancelled. If the charge isnt removed in 2 days from now, I will let my CC co. deal with it. These guys SUCK!"
"WORST COMPANY EVER! I placed an order on March 9th and after a few weeks, got an email confirmation that my order had shipped. After waiting 2 more weeks, I called to see where it was seeing that the website states shipping in 5-7 business days. I was told that the order never shipped and that it was on back order and would ship that day. I called again a week later and was told that it hadn't shipped yet but I was assured it would ship that day. I cancelled this order on April 9th and was told that I would be issued a refund within 24 hours. It is now April 16th and after just getting off the phone, I was told that the refund was never issued and that they would do it right now. We shall see tomorrow if it goes through. Save yourself a giant headache, spend the extra $10 and go with 1800petmeds... I ordered, MAILED them the prescription and saw the order shipped within 2 days. "
