"I've never dealt with such a poor merchant before. Not only was my purchase of Allermyl Shampoo not shipped, they lied to me repeatedly about its availability when I called. First, they told me it had been "back ordered" and was due to arrive that afternoon or in the morning and would ship to me immediately. Never received. Called a few weeks later. Told it had just come in and I would receive it a few business days. Once again, never received. Last week called for a refund. It was to be made through PayPal in 24-48 hours. (Not thrilled with PayPal - apparently they won't handle this because it's over 45 days. My fault for trusting company's word). Still waiting. I feel like a real dumba**. Thank goodness I didn't buy a bridge or magic beans from this company. Maybe those are on backorder too.
PS AllVetMed is still selling the item - no indication that they don't have it stocked, so some other sucker might try to purchase it, too."

This is an awful company to do business with. They tout great price, 100% product guarantee, and specially trained vets/pharmacists/technicians but none of this is true.
My dog has Addison's Disease and needs a shot every month to survive. Ordered it from ALLVETMED. They told me my order would ship next day. Ordered never shipped. Called ALLVETMED and had to explain to them that Addison's Disease can be fatal if not treated monthly and I needed my order filled ASAP. They told me they didn't have enough medication in stock to fill my order; more would arrive in a few days and they would call me once it arrived and ship it to me overnight. Never called me; medicine never shipped. Called ALLVETMED for 3rd time to be told medicine arrived broken from manufacturer and they would get more in 2 days. Told me that they would call me when medicine arrived and my order would ship regular ground NOT overnight like promised. When asked why they wouldn't ship order overnight like told, ALLVETMED just told me they weren't willing to pay overnight shipping even though my dog has a life-threatening disease. Customer service even told me they thought it was ridiculous and I should cancel my order so I promptly did."

"Not thrilled with AllVetMed.com so far.
Placed on order on August 25, 2012 for Trifexis and Revolution for my dogs and cat. I was PROMPTLY charged for it and assumed it was on it's way. A week goes by and my wife asked about it. I had forgotten I ordered it. The website order status say "processing." Called on a weekend and was on hold for probably 20 minutes before hanging up. Don't know if they were actually in or not. Called September 4, waited on hold for 13 minutes. Was told that the order was currently in the shipping department and would go out that day. Today, September 7 it still shows "processing." Called and got through immediately with no wait. The rep said the meds were backordered but should be coming in today and my shipment should be going out.
I informed her that I had been told my order was already in shipping on tuesday so both of these stories can't be true.
She said that I had been "misinformed" on my earlier call.
I'm guessing that I've been misinformed again but will see what happens next. This will be the last time I order from AllVetMet. I should've stuck with my go-to VetDepot.com. they've never done me wrong but I thought I could save a few bucks...Live and learn."

August 30th
#1 I ordered the medication online, and when I received the invoice I noticed that the shipping address was entered wrong. I contacted TWO departments via email to change my shipping address and nobody confirmed to say that they have received the changes.
#2 3 hours later that day get an email saying that they need my vets info. They stated that they WILL contact my vet. I sent the info asap, and I waited for someone to reply back to confirm, and guess what... no response.
Sept 4th
#3 Since I have not heard from anybody in regards to my order of Trifexis, I went to my vets office to get the prescription and drove 2 hours just to get the paperwork. I then took a picture and sent it via email and again.. no response.

They never told me the first time that they do not take prescriptions via email!!!!!! and this was also the second time they were asking me about my vets info! I found out about this whole mess a week later!!!!! I was furious and decided to call customer service to straight things up.

Called customer service and talked to a lady who said to be the manager. I explained all of the screw ups on my order and this moron said.. well we do not take prescriptions via email... I said, well nobody told me in the first place!! and its been over a week !! my dog needs the prescription. I also said to her that she just lost a recurring customer, because there was no way I was ordering with them again.
I told her about this website and said to her that there were many reviews complaining about the bad customer service just to open her eyes ! Do you guys know what her response was ? .. well we do have good reviews too,... She showed no sensitivity to my situation, and there was no understanding or reasoning with this woman. I told her just to cancel my order because apparently she was in COMPLETE DENIAL OF THE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY HAVE
I rarely give reviews, but I felt the need to speak up for what is right. I hope my experience can help others on their buying decision. "
"I ordered two bottles of a medication for my dogs on 7/25 that the website said were in stock. I received an email confirmation that my card was charged and my order was processing. On 7/31 my order had still not shipped so I emailed to find out why. Claudia responded that they were waiting on a shipment (I thought they were in stock) and they would prioritize my order and get it out in a day or two.
I called on 8/9 when I had not heard back and my online order still said processing. I spoke to Elizabeth who told me, again, that the medication was on backorder and should get to them "in the next day or two" and that they would get it to me by Monday 8/13 or call me if there was a problem. By 8/15 I had not received anything or heard back so I called again. I spoke to Claudia who told me they had received their order but it was for the wrong kind of pills and they had had to ship it back to the manufacturer. I asked her why no one had called me. She was so sorry. I asked her when I would get my shipment. She said by Monday (again) for sure. Well today is Monday and I have still not seen it. I have also not heard from the company about why I did not get the package they said I would. I feel lied to and am very angry. Since I know they participate in this forum I will give them two more days to get it right before I cancel and make them give me a refund. Hopefully the refund will not take as long as the order.
Update 8/27. I finally received my medication today via USPS parcel post. AllVetMed said on their website that they had shipped it Priority Mail but that turned out not to be true. It took 5 days to get to me after they emailed to say it was on its way. So from my order to arrival took a grand total of 34 days. During that time I contacted them about the delay 5 times and they only contacted me to tell me it had shipped.
When the company reads this I hope they learn that they could have earned 4 stars simply by keeping me informed about delays and backorders AS THEY OCCURRED instead of not at all. I was most upset that I didn't hear from them and was left to wonder what was going on. I should have never had to contact them because I should have already known what was happening with my order. "
"AllVetMed is awesome! I have the opportunity to get my kitty's medication for about a third of the cost of my vet and 1/2 of Petmeds. They have given me excellent customer service when I call and have an issue. I recently had one with the post office and did not receive the medication for my Siamese - and he needs it and IT IS expensive. I waited a long time and had to buy one more bottle from the vet but I'm on a fixed income and knew I couldn't it again. I called AllVetMed and they sent me out another package the next day, without even getting the previous package back. Do know where the first package is but AllVetMed knew it was important enough to me to get me out another order, free of charge, fast! We love our furry family members and when they hurt, we hurt and will do anything to help them. AllVetMed cares and doesn't take advantage of that fact with their prices and their customer service. "I thought that this was a good company. I ordered 2 boxes of Iverhart Max Chewables - 6 Doses - 6-12 Lbs on 04/04/12. I noticed that the expiration was 10/2012. When I called to complain, they hung up on me. Bad business....
I called back and asked to speak to someone who spoke english. I explained my concern and she directed me to a webpage that I printed off a return, postage paid label. She stated that once received, they would mail out another box that would be in date."
"I purchased Trifexis for my dog. Dani in their Customer Service Dept had to go above & beyond dealing with getting the prescription from the mobile vet that I had used for immunizations & labwork. When she finally got the prescription, they shipped it out same day and upgraded my shipping so I get it next day and no extra charge to me. The delay in getting was due to my vet and Dani kept me informed of the struggle they were having obtaining it. AllVetMeds made it right & I'll continue to do business with them because their prices are lower then their competitors & their customer service is excellent which is more then I can say for Luv My Pets (mobile vet operating out of Petco stores)"
"We have been mostly happy with Allvetmed. Our major complaint is that it is vertually impossible to get someone to answer questions, and when we leave a message we do not get a call back. When our products have not arrived in a timely manner even thought we get comfirmation they were sent, we can not track them with the number provided. A better personal answering to customers would be much apprciated. Cost & products are great, service is not.

"I made the mistake of trying AllVetMed for the first time, and I won't be back! Horrible service from start to finish. Filling and shipping of my order was delayed by about 4 days, because "your Vet hasn't responded to our fax yet." When I asked if anyone had thought to make a phone call, the response was as though I'd suggested a genius idea! Delivery on my order was also delayed, and I'm not sure who was responsible for that, but it resulted in my having to give my dog Tramadol from my Rx. When I tried to reach AllVetMed by phone to find out what the hold-up was, I either got a recording or I was repeatedly disconnected after waiting for 5+ minutes. When my order arrived, it was 120 tablets short on Novox. Again, repeated unsuccessful phone calls to ask about that. Finally, I sent an email, which got a response. I did ultimately receive the 180 tabs. However, I cannot, in all good conscience, recommend these bozos to anyone."

I called requesting a refund and left my call back info and still have not heard from anyone until this review was sent. I called the day I finally recieved the product, and never opened the box. The DESCRIPTION field tells me NOTHING. NOBODY else that I have ordered from on the internet sends out order confirmations with NO pertinent info regarding WHAT WAS ORDERED. Red flag!

"Extremely disappointed with this company. My mom ordered from them on 6/14. They called her vet on 6/15, and denied the prescription because she needed to go in first. After she went in, she tried calling their customer service line,and left numerous messages by pressing "0", and was never called back. We also tried to get through to someone by pressing the 1 and 2 options, only to never have the call go through (it would play music for a minute and then just hang up). I told my mom to write an e-mail to both the customer care e-mail, and also the address that the receipt came from. Again, no response. I then told her that there was an option for her vet to call them. The vet's office called in, pressed the 3 option, and was unable to get through because of being hung up on. I then wrote an e-mail to them last Friday, and we finally heard back from them on Monday morning with a lame excuse as to why the order hadn't shipped.

I responded back to them that it was done weeks ago and we haven't been able to get a hold of them to let them know because they don't answer their phone or e-mails until I threatened filing a chargeback. It is now Thursday, and the order is still sitting in the processing status, my mom's vet has not heard from them, their number is still not going through, and there has been absolutely no more communication by e-mail as well. SAVE THE HEADACHE!!! ORDER SOMEWHERE ELSE TO NOT HAVE THE FRUSTRATION! Normally, I don't write these things, but it seems like the only way to get a response from this company!"
