"Was quoted $65 per "Dispatch" stool on the website, but charged $75 in the end. The GET25 discount code applied successfully. Then ordered two pairs of "Wallace" chairs, which the GET25 code did not discount in my cart. Then the chairs were cancelled by the reseller due to inventory, and they did refund my money. Not sure if that refund has gone through yet but I'll trust them on that. Overall this website is a lot of bait and switch, false discounts, and apparently is a front for Wayfair, "
"Ordered a king bed at 11:30 pm CST at night and they shipped it in 5 minutes on purpose. I called first thing in the morning to cancel and they charged me $140 for 2 shipments to return on something they shipped out in 5 minutes after hours. Nothing was shipped at midnight. Will not do anything to remedy. Their site did not have the information easy to know if the bed works with adjustable bed."
"bought a lamp on 6/24, arrived with missing parts (glass bolt) from the original box, called to get replacement, said it will arrive in 1 week, then i kept calling twice a week, keep saying its back ordered. Finally a month later around 7/30, i received the missing part but its the WRONG PART, i called again and they said they "already knew its the wrong part sent", so they are asking vendor to send another one out but with no ETA. This is not the main issue, they processed my card the date of purchase on 6/24. Due to the issue, i just wanted to return but they won't allow me, so i filed a dispute. These people charged on again on 7/20 & 7/26 like its something they do often. I have only have 1 time from them, on 6/24. The processed the same charge on 6/24, then 7/20 and again on 7/26 for the same charge without my permission. I have called my CC and dispute all of them. When i called them to ask why they charge me 2 separate times when i never bought anything from those days. The customer service rep "Nanette" said "i am confused why we charge you as well, but since theres a dispute, there is nothing i can do for you" and ask me to contact me CC instead. Ill gladly dispute all charges, what kind of trash shady company is this? "
"No longer can support this company! Ordered two chairs from All Modern back in Feb of 2022. They arrived in March of 2022, 4" shorter than advertised! Been fighting with them ever since and still no resolution. I will donate the chairs to someone in need, as this has been nothing short of a nightmare...and an expensive one, at that. $1400+ and I can not use the chairs because of their height. Seemed like a no-brainer! Not as advertised? They go back! Not with All Modern, nor its sister stores. Done! never again!"
"Ordered a single item and decided to cancel it within five minutes, they refused to cancel and shipped the order anyway, rather than contacting FedEx to return the package they expect me to ship it back to them, on my dime. I'll never order from here again, customer service is nice but the policies of the company are ridiculous. Guess it's time to invoke that charge back."

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought a couch from them in May, it took until mid-June to get the couch. They inverted my billing and shipping address. Their delivery company confirmed verbally that they were going to deliver the couch to my door. When they arrived the would not bring it inside and I had to beg for them to at least bring it to the elevator doors. Then I opened the first package and there was a giant rip in the couch. I spent an hour on the phone trying to resolve that they would send me a new part--which they initially told me I would have to find my own way of disposing of the defective part. I opened the second box later and found the fabric on that box also broken. I am now waiting on hold (with wait times more than 1 hr to get the furniture out of my house...which I'm guessing will take another month) "
"Dishonest or incompetent practices. I had a scheduled delivery, set to be delivered between 7-11am which was supposedly only 3 stops away. I refreshed constantly and my status suddenly went to delivery attempted/customer missed, which was not the case. I called immediately, as I happened to get the posting the moment it said it couldn’t be delivered. The operations person at Wayfair called and was told it was not put on the truck. I took the day off for my delivery. I a few minutes later received a call from Wayfair that was dead air for 30 seconds before hang up. I’m now looped back into hold, hoping that they can provide a resolution. Still on hold.
I want to add that my first experience, on this same item was just THE ARMS being delivered over a week ago, completely unscheduled. I got a message at 7:06am saying my delivery was on the truck to be delivered (this was not arranged). I immediately called to cancel and was told that they would hold until the shipment was complete. I was satisfied. Then, an hour later as I was leaving for work, I got a call from the delivery driver saying they were out front. That made me late for work that day. So now I have a useless box that I’ve got to warehouse for Wayfair/Allmodern.
So to recap:
1. Unscheduled partial delivery, making me late for work, which proceeded on after it was cancelled and hold like originally designed.
2. Scheduled delivery marked as attempted (it wasn’t even on the truck) and I wouldn’t have even known unless I had immediately and diligently followed up.
3. Mystery phone call from Wayfair, which when returned forces me to wait (so far, another 20 minutes)
4. I now have to take another day to wait for something I now deeply regret purchasing. I’m not sure if it will show, show on time, or be complete.
5. Your text message system is wildly unreliable.
It seems every stop of this process requires my “staying on the ball” and watching and double checking that what is updated is honest and accurate.
Customer service has been polite, smart, and helpful but logistics on this are a mess."

I ordered a bed frame for my new mattress on 04/21. Today is 05/11 and I don't even have an arrival date yet! I've called customer service three times now.
After 45 MINTUES, 58 MINUTES, an 54 MINUTES ON HOLD I was connected. This last time, after 54 minutes on hold, I got a girl named Ashley who after seeing my order said "mmmm" and then hung up on me.

"I should preface this review with the fact that this is my third order with the Wayfair family and every single order has been equally awful. First, I ordered two pairs of sheer panels which came the wrong size and was told i was going to have to pay return shipping if I wanted to get any money back (even though the cost of return shipping far exceeded the amount of the total purchase). Okay, fine, moving on...After that I ordered a pair of pocket rod panels that came completely different. They cam and were grommeted panels. I notified the company who then assured me that a new set would be shipped promptly. Here we are two weeks later. Initially, I hadn't heard anything about a replacement being shipped, so i email and was notified that the replacement panel indeed had never been ordered and that this time the panel order request would be fulfilled-and it was. With an expected ship date of a week away. As a company it is your responsibility to own your shortcomings and fix them by any means necessary. That even includes complimentary expedited shipping. Considering that the fault is not the consumers. "
"I ordered a 3 piece patio set when i received the set and tried to put it together the glass table did not fit correctly ( the glass was too big for the table). Further more the two chairs the legs were bent and the chairs would not sit flat to the ground.
I shipped everything back only to find out i had to pay for the shipping and my refund was minus the shipping cost. The merchasidse from all modern is poor quality and I would not recommend them to ANYONE!!!"

"I ordered some curtains, which were exactly what i was looking for. The website, and the emails sent to me by AllModern proudly advertised free shipping. Lo and behold, I was charged for shipping. When I contacted AllModern, they tried to tell me that this only applied to orders from Wayfair, but this is completely inconsistent with the email and website information I saw.
They didn't refund the shipping, so I tried to cancel my order. They told me it had already shipped, and if I wanted to return it for anything other than store credit, I have to pay the cost of return shipping.
This has been a terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend AllModern to anyone.
