"I order an ankle boot from them on 10/10/2007, they charge my credit card on 10/15/2007, i do not receive a shipping number, but only a verification of charging, i have to call them up in order to find out that 9 days after the fact that i might get my shipment when they send me an email on 10/19/2007, and to make matters worse, it doesn't even ship to my house when it claims it should be delivered on. It might actually come today."
"This was one of several orders I placed with Allegro Medical. Orders were filled promptly. They used flimsy cartons to ship Jevity 1.2 that were twice damaged in normal handling by UPS. One shipment had an empty can can of Jevity that had burst and made a sticky mess of the shipment. Two e-mails and three phone calls to "Customer Service" yielded nothing. Allegro took my money but wouldn't provide after-sale help. I won't buy from Allegro again and I'd advise others to buy elsewhere. "
"Unbelievable incompitence with customer service communications and late shipment.
After weeks of asking for order status customer service and autoemail notified me that the order finally shipped with a lag of two weeks past the original promised delivery date when the order was placed.
Then in response to the numerouse requests for a status customer service finally responded with a generic message that the order was out of stock.
WOULD NOT EVER USE AGAIN!!!"
"I bought a $700 piece of exercise equipment and wanted it shipped to a different address than where my credit card is billed. Getting the alternate address cleared with my card company took several weeks -- and I had to follow up with Allegro several times to find out there was a lingering problem. They were friendly but there was some extensive phone tag and hold time. When I checked my card statement on-line, I discovered they had made a $1000 charge. I called and challenged it with them. Once again they were friendly and apologetic. The charge was adjusted and the product shipped and arrived quickly."

Horrible experience! I ordered a $160 remote control from their website, got the email confirmation and patiently waited.
That was on Jan 20. On Feb 4th I checked my account on their page and it didn't show up under my account at all, but my CC was charged on Jan 21! Their "contact us" link is a joke with no phone numbers or email addresses, just a web form to fill in and hope you get a response.
I filled out their form and got no response as to the status of my order.
I checked one more time and despite not being available under my account it was somehow available from their main tracking page by order number and zip.
It said waiting to be shipped... 3 weeks later still waiting to be shipped when the page clearly said it was available when I ordered.
I was about to do a chargeback but gave their web form one more try, this time I did get a response a few hours later, generic email about how the item was no longer available and they would work to issue me a credit on my card and I am a valued customer.
This is a medical supply company!!! How do you have service like that in the medical supply world!
Poorly designed website as far as customer service is concered, let me wait for over 3 weeks with no notice my item was not available and charged my CC obviously before shipping.
DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!"
