" It has been a week and my order for 1 item which states "in stock" has still been in the status of "awaiting shipment". This is a medical splint that I needed immediately, I called their customer service line and after being on hold for 25 minutes no one answered. I then emailed their customer service of my issue and after 3 days I have gotten no response whatsoever. I want my order canceled and to receive a full refund immediately. This company appear to be doing this to many other customer as other reviews I have now read state similar issues.I have had to make my purchase elsewhere. "

"CAVEAT EMPTOR!!! I had such a bad experience with this outfit that I got mad and decided to fight. I ordered two Krown Phone Flashers (which the site stated were in stock). Thus began the ridiculous back and forth odyssey of e-mails that continued until they finally returned my money.

I contacted the Better Business Bureau (Phoenix, AZ) 4428 N. 12th Street Phoenix, AZ 85014-4585 Phone: ***-***-**** Fax: ***-***-**** Email: ****@**** Web: arizonabbb.org after slogging through a morass of e-mails that apologized profusely ("Dear Valued Customer"), promised immediate action and resulted in no action whatsoever (other than another e-mail). Rather than filling orders for merchandise, which they may or may not have, they seem to spend most of their time scamming customers and are willing to carry on correspondence until people just give up. There must be enough people who just decide to take a loss to make it worth their while to continue the charade.

If you want to experience the worst of the worst, Allegro Medical is your ticket. I have gone out of my way to let people know about this company in the hopes that they may be spared the experience I and so many others have had. Go to the BBB site (above) and read the number of complaints (in the hundreds). I think they get their "A" rating by resolving all complaints filed against them. Even when they replied following the complaint I lodged with the BBB stating that they would cancel my order immediately and refund my money, they didn't. I had to call the BBB and reopen the case, after which they finally complied. As an aside, when I then logged onto their site and my account I found, surprise, surprise, the notation "awaiting shipment". BE WARNED!

"Waited over one month for a product which Allegro claimed was back ordered. I decided to cancel the order, and to this day, have not received my refund. I went to Amazon for the product, which was shipped immediately.
You can never get Allegro to respond to problems or dissatisfaction with their service. This is not the first time I had a problem with Allegro. I strongly suggest you go elsewhere to shop!!

"I can't believe these people are still in business!

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!

I ordered two items from Allegro for my mother for xmas. They were shipped in a timely manner, but one was not the right product. Was supposed to be a flag and got a cup holder...go figure. Anyway, today is Feb. 13th! Remember, these were for xmas. I called early Jan and got NICK, I explained my situation and he said he would take care of it and call me back in an hour. No call. That was on a Friday. On the next Tuesday, I called again and got Terri. She said she would EMAIL me an RMA# and I could send it back, then they would mail out the right product. She said the email would be here that day. Guess what, no email. I waited two days and called again. This time I got Bethany. She said they don't email those RMA#'s, they only snail mail them. She said the order had been put thru by Terri and that I should get it within the next 5 days. These people are in Arizona, I am in Florida. How does it take that long to send a simple letter when my mother, who lives in AZ can mail me something and it gets here in 3 days, not priority? Ok, so I waited the 5 days and then gave it a couple more. Again, nothing. I called again this last Wed. This time I got Sarah. SHE said she talked to her supervisor and I dont have to mail the $5 cup holder back, so forget about the RMA#. They would just go ahead and mail out the flag right away. She also said that since I have had such a hard time with this whole thing, she PERSONALLY was going to track my package and, if I emailed her the next day, she would reply with my tracking number so I could trac it also. She said it should be there by Friday, or at the latest Monday. Shipping from Riverside, CA to Tempe, AZ. I emailed her on Thrusday, and again on Friday. Once more, nada. No response. Abysmal, horrid company!!!

If this item is not on my mother's doorstep tomorrow, I am contacting my credit card company to dispute this whole thing. Then I am contacting the Better Business Bereau. I will be scouring the web for any other review sites to let everyone know. DO NOT ORDER FROM ALLEGRO MEDICAL! In my case, they did not even send the right item from the get go! Even keeping track of who I spoke to did not help.

And, BTW, whenever I asked to talk to a supervisor, I was told they are not in the office right now

"I ordered some Dura-Stick II Self-Adhesive Electrodes in November. Their website says in stock. About a week later I see awaiting shipment on my order. So I call and they say they are back ordered. I tell them it says ships in one to two days on the website. They say it will be corrected. Four weeks later still says awaiting shipment and the website says will ship in one to two days. I cancelled, but it makes me mad that they billed my credit card before they ship and now I have to wait for a billing cycle for a refund. Plus it still says in stock. Never do business with them again. "

"I ordered two items. One shipped immediately. The other item has not shipped and I cannot seem to obtain any order status. Sent an email through the "contact us" method....email ignored..no reply. Have tried to call the main number ***-***-****) many times....just get a message to call back later and hung up on. Also have tried the ***-***-**** service number....always busy. I give up...WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!"

"BEWARE!!! TALK TO A SALES REP! DON'T ORDER ONLINE!! I ordered a backrest from them on the 13th. Got a confirmation email that included a link to supposedly track my purchase. After a week I checked back and my order status was "Awaiting Shipment." I emailed the company about a refund as it was a gift for my mother for the 23rd, and if they couldn't ship in time, I asked for a refund. Finally got through to them after calling 3 BUSINESS days in a row, and I was told that my product wouldn't even arrive in their warehouse till August 15th. I asked to cancel the order and get a refund, which supposedly takes up to 2 weeks, so we'll see what happens...
I have now been waiting 4 months for my refund, calling and talking to a rep, at least 5 times, who has assured me each time that they have fast tracked it. I don't see how hard it is to refund $120. I'm almost to the point of writing it off altogether. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Oh, and my Order Status still says "Awaiting Shipment"

"Item never came. Called 5 times, was promised to call but never did. The 6 call, I was told the item was out of stock and 'might' be in another week. Should this information be informed when we order?
I called to request order cancellation, they never said any sorry. Not that I expected but it showed their level of poor service.

"The company misrepresents it's shipping timeline. My order has been "awaiting shipment" for 48 hours. The customer service rep stated that the website just says that and it doesn't mean that the product is actually awaiting shipment.

Buyer Beware!

Update:

Their site shows entire order complete but one item was missing. They have to call they shipping warehouse to confirm that one item is on backorder. I'll wait about two weeks for the item, which is OK since they're paying for shipping, but they site still shows as everything shipped so I don't know my order status.

"I bought 2 pairs of travel socks. The product is a real piece of crap! When I called them to return it, they said it was not returnable! It was never obvious that when I purchased it, the product would not be returnable.

These guys are ripping people off!

"I have ordered four times from this company. The company provides inconsistent feedback on order status. Half of the orders are not confirmed. Sometimes you get shipping information. I continued to order from them because they carried certain medical devices that are not easily found elsewhere, and it turns out cheaper due to shipping multiple items when buying from one store instead of many. This recent order has changed my mind. I will not buy from them anymore. They sent me an incorrect item, the picture is completely different, not to mention the description. After many e-mails to customer service, Rosalinda, CSR insists that I ordered the wrong product and refuses to exchange the item at their cost. She wants me to send it back at my cost. I courteously tried to explain again, but no longer heard back from her or anyone in customer service. I would recommend avoiding AllegroMedical unless it is the only place for what you need. Keep in mind that what you see may not be what you get and it may take more than 2 weeks without notice."
