business lacks integrity

"I purchase a reliant steam mop that I and several people were unable to put together. I asked to return it and they made me wait weeks as they needed to discuss with reliant. Allergybuyers club told me to cut the cord and send them a picture. I had been dealing with reliant and allergybuyers club. I didn't feel comfortable damaging the product. Reliant told me to return it and sent me a return label. Reliant now states they refunded the money to Allergybuyers club but they said since I didn't cut the cord as instructed in an email they weren't refunding me my money. I had discussed with customer service I didn't feel comfortable damaging the product. So now they have the product and my money. I have called and emailed no response. ZERO INTEGRITY! order #985716"

Avoid at all costs!

"This is the second bad experience I have had in dealing with Allergy Buyers Club, and it’s a doozy. I ordered an expensive air purifier. I have severe MCS and I stressed, when ordering, that it was critical that the machine arrive in a timely fashion. I was told it would take 10 days. 5 for the machine to be produced by the factory, and 4 more for shipping. As it approached 2 weeks, and no shipping or tracking notification had been sent, I contacted Allergy Buyers Club to find out, why the delay? The staff member I spoke with said....Oh! It can take 7 days for the machine to be produced and 5 to ship, and she would contact the manufacturing company to see when the tracking number would be sent. I didn’t hear back.

So I called the next day and told another staff member the circumstances, and I was cut off. I called back and asked to speak with the person, again, and was told that she would call me right back....no call back!

So, I called the manufacturer, direct....I was informed that the machine was back ordered, and they wouldn’t receive any machines for at least several days and then it was an additional 4 days of shipping. So now I am looking at potentially 3-4 weeks before I received the purchase.

1) I was outright lied to, as they never even contacted to manufacturer to see why the machine wasn’t shipped. the machine wasn’t even available.

2) Allergy Buyers said the machine was made to order by the manufacturer, which took 5 days...(which is bull) as the manufacturer representative I spoke with, said the machines were to be shipped their facility.

I will never use ABC or any online distributor, again. Always go direct to the factory, it’s worth the additional charge. I have had great experiences going direct to the factory...after all, it’s their product and reputation.

My first experience with ABC, they didn’t return calls, they didn’t respond to requests for information on expedited shipping quotes and more.

Avoid them! Save yourself the hassle.

Customer Service is horrible!!

"I purchased a very expensive air filter from them and have purchased many in the past. They inadvertently sent the filter to the wrong address and told me there was nothing that can be done about it as far as rectifying, replacing and or resending me the one that has been send to the wrong address. So now I am out of $$$$$ and also a filter. Spoke to a representative as well as a supervisor!! Horrible customer service!!!!
Let me also add, I have an account with them and have been buying from them for years!
NOT ANYMORE!!!

Replaced my humidifier

"Allergy buyers club replaced my PowerPure 5000 humidifier after I damaged it while cleaning the unit.
After four months of trouble free use, there was a bit of mineral deposit buildup (Las Vegas area tap water) just below where the tank sits. I was overly aggressive during cleaning and spilled water into the base of the unit where the electrical workings reside, which caused a short circuit.
I was told by a very understanding and sympathetic person in customer service that they would send me a replacement humidifier free of charge!

Thank you Allergybuyersclub!
Your PowerPure 5000 humidifier is awesome and so are you!

Wonderful Customer Service

"I was having trouble putting a replacement filter in one of my air filters and so called Allergy Buyers Club for help with how to do it or to maybe order a replacement if mine was defective. They told me someone would contact me to help me with it. I ended up being able to get the filter in before the phone call from customer service, but I so appreciated the call from Sonja for assistance with how to do it. She was so kind and courteous that I ended up calling her back specifically at her extension the next day to order a HEPA air filter for my bedroom as I am having mold remediation done on my house and am very allergic to mold. She helped me to order the new air filter and was just so wonderful over the phone! I am so grateful I got to talk with her two days in a row and will definitely use Allergy Buyers Club again. You all are my favorite for allergy products!! "

Can't return unopened item.

"I wanted to order a Talalay pillow. The problem was you had to buy them in a set of two. Their site showing the pillow says you cannot return any "opened" pillows. So I thought ok I'll order the pillows and if I don't like them I'll keep the one and return the unopened pillow in it's "sealed bag". Well they said I couldn't return any pillows, even those that I never opened from their own compressed sealed bag. So they get you to buy two pillows, (you can't buy them individually), and if you don't like them, you're stuck with the unopened pillow that they lead you to believe you can return. What a scam. After buying from them for years, I say never again."

Deceptive advertising and poor customer service

"I ordered 2 pillows from this website. The page says free shipping and free returns. I contacted customer service about returning the product, turns out the don't except bedding returns ones opened. Got an RMA for one of them and found out that their free returns some how does not cover shipping. How is it free then?Neither messages nor emails ever get returned."

Never Again. Buyer Beware!

"I ordered an air purifier from Allergy Buyers Club. Apparently the unit I ordered was not available even though their site showed it was, They sent a different unit from a different store, claiming it was the same. However the specs of the two units were not the same. Requested a Return Authorization and refund, with return shipping paid by them as it was their mistake causing the return. They refused even though I spoke with an agent, a supervisor, and a manager in the company. I had to shell out approximately $15 for return shipping to get what was the wrong product back to them. Not the kind of business I want to do business with."

"I ordered a Vornado EVAP3 humidifier that constantly runs but does not raise the humidity in the room except for 1 or 2 percent no matter how long it runs. The room is 350 sf and the humidifier is rated for 600 sf. I had a prior ultrasonic Air-O-Swiss that could raise the humidity 20 percent. I contacted Allergy Buyers Club over a week ago regarding a return and was told I would be emailed return instructions but have not received them. This is terrible customer service. I have informed my credit card company regarding a stop payment and plan to return the humidifier to the address it came from."
