"Spent 1400.00on air purifiers, then I ordered replacement filters, I ordered these before we would need them so we wouldn't be without them. Upon opening the box it smelled like they had been stored in a musty basement for years, I called them and they would not replace the faulty filters because I was one week beyond their so called trial period, I said that's because I ordered them trying to be proactive. They didn't care and would not replace the disgusting filters or refund our money, filters are not cheap either but being as they were ruined by this odor I assumed they would gladly replace them , I was very wrong, now I have 2000.00 dollars in purifiers and faulty filters that cannot be used.I don't know how the place can continue to be in business with policies like this. Don't waste your hard earned money with allergy buyers club, the website looks and sounds great .BUYER BEWARE. THIS PLACE DOES NOT CARE ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY."
"Purchased a Fral dehumidifier FDK70 for Appx. $1000.00 in Oct. 2016. In July 2017 it failed. I contacted the maker Fral first who acknowledged this as a known problem with the FDK 70. They forwarded the info to Allergy Buyers Club who requested that I return the dehumidifier to them in the original container (who keeps the boxes?). So I went to UPS with the measurements 20X24X16 and the weight 110 lbs. They said it would cost appx. $186.00 to ship it. So I called Allergy Buyers Club and made 2 suggestions, (1) hire a local refrigeration person to fix it or (2) since I only live about 70 miles away I would bring it to them. The answer to both suggestions were no. So now I guess I have 3 choices (1) return at the $186.00 (2) hire a refrigeration repair person myself or (3) eat the $1000.00 that I originally paid for the dehumidifier."
"This company lies and do not honor their own return policy. Be careful they seem helpful but wait if something goes wrong they will make things difficult. They will make you pay for returns and lie. Do not buy anything on sale because they push bad products and I would not put it pass them to inflate their ratings. Use Amazon instead and I don't like them.

"I've been in a 4 month mess with this company. First I called to have them confirm the filters I was buying for my air purifier. I was assisted and was assured that I would get the 25% discount that they were offering on the website. AFTER I purchased the items I was told that it didn't apply to the filters I was buying. I fought to have them honor the discount. Then they sent the filters to me and they were for the wrong air purifier. I spent months of phone tag trying to get this clarified. In the end I went to the manufacturer to get an answer. Then I had to go through returning the filters. I was sent a shipping label and told that the minute they received notice that they were on the way back the refund would hit my account. 3 weeks later and I had to call again to insist on the refund. They said they missed it cause the filter had gone back to the manufacturer instead of them. THEY SENT ME THE SHIPPING LABEL. I first ordered the filters in January. Now it's May, I've been through a horrible allergy season without my air purifier - have since had to order a new one - still have not received the refund for the wrong filters - still don't have the correct filters and now they say that they don't carry them. Please find another company to work with!"
"Purchased crawl space specific dehumidifier FRAL FDK54. Worked for a season. In Indie so 90 days give or take a few weeks. Cleaned and started this year and Nothing. Asked plumber look at it. Hole in aluminum coil, leaking refrigerate and freezing coils. $900 For 90 days of operation...but cust service said we senior citizens can send back on our dime and install again in crawl space and hope it works longer than 90 days. No local service, no partial refund...nothing. "
"It's easy for buyers to let the great reviews go without ever sharing the experience. It's time I pay it forward. I purchased a Veridian Robot Vac in 2016 and it has met all expectations. Even though I've cleaned the filters with each use, i thought it time to buy replacements in February of 2018. I learned that the x401 was updated in 2017 with different size filters although the model was not changed creating confusion at first. Once I called ABC, the customer service rep was exceptional at listening to my story and the concern with not being able to purchase filters for the older model. Bottom Line - I received a new model at no charge within two days. I've purchased several products over the years and can say they receive my highest recommendation as a disabled person, making many of their products a necessity for quality of life. Thank you so much ABC for the kind service and response.

Tried to input a code on their site and it didn't work. The page told me to call in. So I did, and emailed the agent the product page from Amazon. She said she "didn't see that price" and asked whether she could call me tomorrow to price match it instead. WTF.
Tomorrow came, and guess what- no call. Terrible. "
"This company may seem great if you don't have a problem with the product, but their customer service when you do have a problem is TERRIBLE! I bought a Quiet Pure Whisper HEPA Tower air purifier from them that was rated in their ad as "up to 50 decibels." I thought: Great! It's small and nice and quiet for the bedroom. When the item arrived it was much louder than the unit I have in the living room, which is 50 decibels. I called ABC and they said: Oh, no. That one is rated 58 decibels. I said that's not what you ad said, and I bought it because it was supposed to be so quiet. Plus when I turned it on in a room were I had the another air purifier running on low, it did nothing to aid that unit in keeping the air clean. I told them I was sending it back and, since I bought it because it was supposed to be so quiet, I expected a full refund including shipping back since their ad was not accurate (I included a copy of the false ad). They charged me for return shipping it back! So they advertise falsely and aren't honest enough to cover their mistakes. This is not a company with integrity. Don't buy there!"
"I purchased a dehumidifier from them and the pump did not work on it. I called their customer service many times and tried troubleshooting steps they suggested, but it did not work. Then, I was out of the 30 day return window by the time I had tried the things they suggested. Now, they will not refund it, but only replace it (with shipping at my expense) with what is likely also a bad product and will have the same problems (and require more shipping back if it fails). Don't buy from here. Amazon or a local store will stand behind their product longer and handle returns better."
"I ordered 2 king latex pillows from them. Received the wrong pillows. The saga is so incredibly ridiculous I'm only going to say that the 2 customer services representatives were rude and illogical.
They made multiple errors that continued on through the 3 weeks of trying to resolve this. I was waiting for the correct pillows.
After 2 1/2 weeks, they sent an email that they were just refunding the money for the 2 pillows. Then
they sent ONE correct pillow. I had already ordered 2 more from Amazon after I got the email about the refund.
When I called again, they said it was my fault because 3 weeks earlier on my inital call, I had asked
to get the correct pillows that I had originally ordered. Never dealing with them again!!!"
"Upon buying 4 pillows that cost me $120 per 2 pack, I opened and tested 2 pillows with the obvious hopes of liking them. They were not at all as described on the site. I called the company and asked for a mailing label to return the two unopened pillows that were still in the box and I was immediately told that they do not take back any bedding products even if they're stil unopened in the box. I was told this is clearly stated in the "fine print" on the website. I was definitely willing to eat the costs of the two opened pillows but don't think it's fair that I shouldn't be able to return unopened products.
Just FYI: They also have a no compromise 30 day return policy on non bedding products.
Buyer be ware. This is the worst company I've dealt with in years. They offered absolutely no help and informed that there is nothing they will do to help make this right... Now I'm out $220. Please look for other vendors to make your purchase through!!!"
"I was shocked to read the reviews. I likely would have changed my mind had I read them BEFORE my purchase. I was so shocked because my experience has been very positive. I have not had to return anything, so perhaps that would be another story. Perhaps the company has made some drastic changes? I spoke to company representatives on 2 occasions and they were pleasant, helpful, and professional. At first, I had emailed them. It was a slow response, so I called. It was resolved quickly and I was very impressed with how quickly and pleasantly it was taken care of. I did get an email response also, although it was after I called. So far, so good."

A company that is unprofessional, doesn't care about their customers, does not do anything that is satisfactory to correct their mistakes! Terrible from top management down--obviously, do not care! Terribly stressful to deal with--no excuse for them being so unprofessional! Promised shipping and delivery on certain dates--it did not happen--they did NOTHING to expedite shipping--they basically lied, admitted they were wrong, but did nothing to try to correct the problem.
