"As my worst experience so far.
1. Instead of asking us to provide official document with the company address the staff assumes we have to have an address on Google Maps and if we do not, they cancel our order.
2. Completely miss organized, via email said the order ships, than a person said it didn’t, than the automated email came and the order status was Shipped, but it was actually not and nobody wanted to say anything before I called to confirm it.
3. Saying that they are a government company which is not true. Than other people on the phone said that they work with government and so they require some company verification, but they don’t ask you anything, they just say “this address you provided is another company’s address. I see on google maps it’s a beer shop, it’s not your office, you don’t a have a number of suite, so your address is not valid”. So what if we do not choose how to name the street and the office number, it is official address not made by us, we provide what we have. The company is officially registered to this address. But making a step back: why even should we to fight over the company address validation if we order PUSH BUTTONS. They are just buttons that are not regulated by anyone. So in the end of the next day of fights they refuse to send us buttons and properly explain why, we ordered them on Mouser and received next day."
"First let me say anything made in China is garbage so when buying garbage the price should be real cheap not so here.
There crazy and will go broke very soon. There is no reason to have prices like this 100 times higher than normal on alot of items.

"Found them on a google search. I thought they had a great price on a 6’ raceway for concealing wiring. I purchased a quantity of 6 but only received one 6’ piece. When I called to ask why, I was told that the item was sold per foot and I bought a 6’ piece. That’s NOT what was on the screen when I placed the order ! What a ripoff ! They need to clarify that better on the website. I’ll never be shopping from them again and I suggest no one else does either. "
"Simply put, this company is short sighted and lacks the customer service needed to earn our business. As a medical company we were looking to source AC adapters for a device we manufacture. We ordered two units to sample, however, we mistakenly ordered the wrong specs and tried to exchange (not return). They wouldn't do an exchange, additionally, the lady on the phone was very rude and nasty. We were looking to purchase 300+ per month. Don't do business with a company like this- there are many great companies out there that stand behind their products and train their CS reps to be respectful. "

"i ordered 40 Pcs of a part and after one month of waiting i called them, and i've been told that they don't have that part in stock!!!!!!!!!!! when i told them that at the time of order there was enough to cover my order, she said "I Know"!!!!
apart from not having the part i needed, she "Michele" was very rude and when i asked to cancel my order she just said "OK" and then hanged up! it was very insulting.
i rather pay 5 times more to DigiKey and have my parts over night.

"Placed order April 4th. Was called within a few days to verify the order and give permission for the order to be charged to my credit card.
On May 4th, no product. I sent an e-mail asking for an update. Was told it would be shipped June 4th - 5th.
E-mailed today, June 24th. Asked for the order to be cancelled if it had not yet been shipped. Order cancelled.
Customer service was okay, quick replies and friendly. I'm very dissatisfied with my experience though. If an order is going to take this long to fulfill, at least keep me in the loop. Would not recommend to anyone."

"I placed my order on February 16, 2015... I type this message on March 4, 2015 and still I wait for my product to be shipped. I tried contacting their customer service, although finding the correct number to call was hard enough, but trying to get a hold of someone to talk to was impossible. I am hoping to cancel my order with Allied Electronics and order from someone trustworthy. So if you think about getting a part from Allied, hopefully you read some reviews first. It hasn't happened to me, although there are some reports of overly or inappropriately charged Credit Cards. Watch out.

"on 9/14/2013, I ordered a Cap (15MFD)for $7.40 with $5 handling charge. Beside that there are still shipping and tax charge with pending status. Two day later, I needed to order two more Cap (7.5MFD & 60MFD). Since don't know the hidden cost for shipping and tax, I went to Zoro which 7.5MFD is $5.96 and 60MFD is $19.43 with $5 shipping for total $30.39. And I got the parts on 18. But the order from Allied Electronics is still not coming (I used the same shipping method). And they charged: $7.4 for the part, $5 for the handling, $5.63 for the shipping and $1.0 for tax. total is: $19.03. Actually I want to cancel the order after seeing the hidden charge but there is no option to do that."

"Pretty positive experience. Ordered my raspberry pi a few days a go... I was a little sketched out because they don't tell you how much shipping is going to be, but they supply a "freight calculator." It said standard USPS (7-10 days) would be like $5.50 and USPS priority (2-5 days) would just be a few cents more. So I went with priority. The next day I checked my online banking statement and they had charged my account something like $67... Considering the raspi is only 35 I was a little frustrated to say the least, but ultimately I figured I was screwed so didn't even bother calling or anything. However I have ordered with companies that do shipping the exact same way (charge the card more than what they need to and then refund it and charge the correct amount to make sure the funds are available). I checked my email the day after and it had said the shipping was 5.75 and the total was just over 40. When I saw this I was ecstatic lol. The next day (today) my raspi showed up in the mail (only took 2 days since I placed my order late on the initial day). So ultimately decent priced shipping (best deal I could find on the net) and it was super fast. I'm happy with the results but not knowing the exact shipping upfront is a total crapshoot. Only complaint besides not knowing the shipping cost is the fact they carry the version made in China instead if the one made in the UK... But that's just me being picky."
