"ABF arrived at the head of the street with a semi and said that they could only do a tailgate delivery even though We had paid $75 for inside delivery. We said that we would not take delivery without an inside delivery. After some discussion the driver rode with us to our house in our pickup truck and with my help delivered the furnace into the basement.

I am 71 with a heart condition and without my help he could not have made the delivery.
Alpine needs to qualify their delivery people better. The driver was alone and was nearly as old as I am."

"I have to compliment the simple steps needed after receiving the furnace to have it start & operate properly on the first attempt. My only negative exists with layout of sight cover for viewing flame for air adjustment as the expelled heat after cover removal quickly melted insulation on transformer wires. Perhaps, a lesson learned...but layout should include a shielded wire harness or protective shield of some type.
Otherwise, I'm very happy with the new units performance at this time & will recommend your firm to others!
