"I am completely satisfied with the information I received from Alpine and your phone technical support people, especially Joseph Waller during my initial phone call, which "sold" me on the PTH073E35A unit for our cottage in Ellison Bay. But I called back a couple of times to ask how the mechanical outside air inlet works and why the PTH unit's energy-efficiency rating (11.7 EER) and co-efficiency of performance (COP 3.3) aren't any better than the lower-cost non-heat-pump units. Left a message with two other reps (who were also very pleasant), asking Joseph to call me back (since he sold me the unit) when he had time, but never heard back. Hopefully because he was so busy! But that's my only (minor) beef. The unit arrived in good shape as far as I can tell. Fed Ex delivery guy was very helpful. I'll let you know if we have any problems with the installation next week. For what it's worth, I am recommending Alpine to the heating and building contractors I know up here in northern Door County, WI.
