"I purchased a motherboard from Alvio Corp. The purchase process was flawless and the motherboard was shipped promptly and efficiently. Unfortunately - the board would not POST. I contacted Alvio Corp. via email and received a prompt response with an RMA number. I shipped the board back to Alvio - they immediately checked it out and shipped a replacement board. The entire return process only took a total of four days - including me shipping to them - and me receiving the replacement! Outstanding customer service! The new board works perfectly. I highly recommend Alvio Corp. to anyone seeking computer related parts and equipment!"

"The computer shipped was not specific to the computer advertised. The order was for a computer P3 with 13.5 GB HDD and 128MB RAM. The product shipped had 64MB RAM, 3.075 GB HDD (Seagate Model ST33221A) and a nonfunctional CD ROM Drive.
After many correspondances I got the RMA (RMA# 5453)number and sent the HDD and CD ROM Drive back. To my dismay I still have not received any of those parts yet.
The last correspondence was on Sept. 02, 2003 as "Yes we send it to IBM. Give us a few days we will send it to you." I have no idea what IBM has to do with those parts. Since then I have written 3 e-mails with no response.
I would NOT do any business with this company.

"I never had a problem with my computer in the past, but in the last year I have had a real problem with my modem/dial-up abilities. I contacted Alvio and I sent them the modem that was not functioning and they sent me a new modem right away. I then found out that the new modem was not functioning in my system. I finally had to sent the entire CPU unit to Alvio to make sure that the problem was not my motherboard. Come to find out after sending my system twice for an evaluation...they fixed the problem and now I have no more issues with my modem/dial-up.

"GREATLY RECOMMENDED..... I have dealt with Alvio for over 3 years now. I have never had a bad dealing with them.

I have had wrong items shipped, BUT it was all taken care of very promptly with NO PROBLEMS.

I have had items that did not work, BUT it was all taken care of very promptly with NO PROBLEMS.

The warranty is GREAT and they do stand behind their products.

The tech support is very helpful and any time I need them they are there.... WITH NO PROBLEMS.

I deal with LEO on a regular basis and he is of the greatest help.

I order on a weekly basis and I have NO problems with ALVIO what so ever.

If you are a reseller like me, I would recommend ALVIO.

"Great guys to work with! We've placed several different orders from them....Ask for Frank.....He'll take good care of you.

Anyway, we've purchased a SEVERAL servers and desktops. The systems came assembled and burnt in. They came in the time frame promised. They were the systems advertised. They all worked great!

There were a few power supplies that the Alvio guys recieved from a supplier, that we, unfortunately recieved a few of in our systems. Obviously, this is no fault of thiers, since they aren't the producers of the product. Frank and his guys replaced them VERY quickly.

All in all, we've had great support and assistance from everyone at Alvio.

"I bought a barebone system from Alvio in May. Using their online configuration utility, I picked a chassis and motherboard combination. When it arrived, I was going to install my own components in it.
After about 2 weeks it came. The chassis has 4 external 5.25" drive bays, so I should be able to install 4 CDROM drives, burners, etc. However, I could only use the top 2 slots because the drives were hitting the motherboard in the bottom 2 slots.
So I continued to install my brand new equipment that I bought for this PC. Then the PC would only boot up about 30% of the time.I removed all of my items and tried again, thinking that I had a defective item that I purchased elsewhere. The problem persisted, and after much agita from the tech support person ( he told me to just hang the drives out of the drive bays, and to call the motherboard manufacturer, which I did to no satisfaction ), I finally got an RMA number to return this P.O.S. This was the week before July 4, and I am still waiting for my PC.
I would not buy from this company again, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Followup: After 2 weeks of waiting for them to 'swap' the motherboard and replace the case, I called to find out where by system is. I was told that they didn't have a replacement motherboard and RMAed the original to ABIT. I asked why I wasn't notified of this extra delay and was met with silence. We agreed to replace the mobo with an ASUS mobo, being that I didn't want to wait any longer. A week later the system arrived, and the mobo booted up OK and I could fit drives in all the drive bays.
But...no mobo manual and the incorrect mobo driver CD. So I called back up and was told that because I didn't return the ABIT mobo manual and CD, they would not send me the ASUS mobo and manual!! I didn't return the ABIT stuff because I was told that they were going to swap it out immediately. CAN YOU F###ING believe this!!?? You would think that they would send the manual and CD and ask me to return the ABIT stuff, because I no longer have any use for it. The customer service guy agreed to send it right out if I send out the ABIT stuff now. We will see who gets their stuff first.

2nd Followup: It is now August 11 and I still have not received my manual and CD. I sent the ABIT manual and CD by priority mail on the Saturday after I talked to Alvio and they received it on Wednesday July 30. I was told that they mailed out the CD and manual, but they must have gotten lost in the mail, and they will send out new ones. I will keep you posted on the progress of this sordid affair!

3rd Followup: Today is September 5, and I finally received the CD and manual that I should have received in July!! My advice is run as fast as you can from Alvio and never, never look back!!

"i recently ordered a desktop computer from alvio. when it arrived it was in a well packed box, but when i opened it, the computer was a mess. the case wasnt screwed on, the free keyboard and mouse looked like they came from the 70's. ok so i got past that, plugged it in and it actually worked,but shortly after plugging it in, the video card went out,leaving me with a black and white picture.ok, i fixed that, no biggie. so other than that, and the fact they sent me the wrong computer. i was supposed to get a p3 733mhz pentium, i ended up with a p2 500mhz pentium. when i called they said that was what i had ordered, i know it wasn't. but other than that i was sattisfied with their prices, and there delivery. i ordered on the 6th it arrived on the 9th. other than that you shouldnt believe any thing alex has to tell you.in my opinion they are rip off artists, and must have perfected it to be getting away with it. so if you want something you didnt order, that isnt as good as what you did order, then alvio is the place for you. prices and delivery are not the only things that make a good company, i will not nor will i suggest ever ordering from alvio."
