"The product was delivered late to me after around 2 weeks even after being a prime member where it said two day shipping. Amazon deleted my previous review. I wish I could post an image proof on this website where Amazon is saying that they lost my product. They intentionally made their customer service as useless as possible so that they put all the profits in their pocket and the customers suffer. This will be my last purchase from Amazon!!"
"I asked my son order 2 dresses for me on amazon since he had an account the product was of inferior quality and definitely not as expected. Not knowing they were shipped from China. Lo and behold it would cost me 45.00 to return them when the original cost was 62.00. What a Royal rip off. Never ever again will I order from Amazon. Pure garbage. I don't have the exact date the products were order but it was mid april and they came the first week of May. No invoice in the package just a label on the plastic envelope which I have in my possession."
"For all those who complain saying that they try to trick you into prime memberships etc... I can tell you it makes no difference, I am a Prime Member and I order thousands of dollars worth and customer service just HORRIBLE! Amazon DOES NOT CARE if you are a one time or repeat and Prime like I am.
Customer service is truly a matter of flipping a coin. To begin, if you're lucky you will get an agent in North America and/or whom will understand you and the problem. Then, flip another coin (this time a two-faced one) to see if they have knowledge of what the issue is and, even better, if they have any power to fix it. Asking for a Manager or Supervisor will get you what I believe they called a "Resolution Specialist", just another name for an agent with a little bit more access and allowed to offer you "Amazon credits" to shut you up but not actually resolve the issue.
My most recent issue has been one where all my orders are set for manual review. They suspected fraud and "for my security" had locked me out of my account. I confirmed it was me ordering; I was ordering with my credit cards, in my name at my address that matched the billing address. After talking with someone in security I was assured this would no longer happen. But it did and customer service says they cannot contact or reach the security department. The funniest I've heard so far. So all my orders are on hold. I am promised shipping for tomorrow before 9 PM but every night I get an email that there is a delay in shipment; the delay being the manual review. Oh and, there as well, you can flip a coin as they'ev actually canceled two orders and I had to resubmit them and they went through. Why they would cancel orders that I confirmed were mine, I have no clue. So I am no longer ordering from Amazon and still waiting on 1 day prime orders to go through for the last two weeks!!! I know Amazon are billionaires and don't care about my thousands of dollars of business but if more people just stopped using them when unhappy and they would start to actually see some numbers go down and Christmas bonuses reduced, someone might actually care.

"They really need to get their delivery service in order! First, the tracking link tells me that the package was delivered by Dynamex at 7:10 PM. It wasn't! I was home all night and checked several times and NO parcel had ever been delivered here. Then I contacted Amazon.ca and asked how they can ethically deal with a delivery company that LIES about having completed the delivery. I was told that "I have escalated this issue to the shipping department and we will see that such practices are avoided and stopped."
I was offered a replacement to be shipped "with the fastest shipping method available for you", which I accepted. This time, the package arrived within the committed time. However, it was in its original packaging with a label stuck on and was left on the front porch. The deliverer did not ring the door bell, nor put the package behind the storm door. It was left right out in plain view so that any passerby could see exactly what the product was. Is it any surprise that Amazon has had a lot of problems with "porch pirates"?
This whole experience was during an Amazon Prime free trial. Do they really expect that anyone would pay a premium for such terrible delivery service?
BTW, when Amazon claims one or two-day shipping that does NOT indicate when you can expect to receive your order . It refers to the time interval between when they receive your order and when it is sent to/picked up by the delivery company. Consequently, you can add at least a day until you receive your order.
As readers of this website will attest, many companies have figured out how to run a customer-oriented mail order business over the internet (including Amazon.com). Why is therefore that Amazon.ca cannot get this right? The poor ratings on this site would appear to be a very accurate reflection of the quality (sic?) of the service (sic?) provided by Amazon.ca."
"My order, of grocery items, took a month to arrive! If you are american you get your amazon order super quick, but not us Canadians. Then I got an email saying that they remove my comments because certain person in my same household bought the product, said they do not allow bias comment and they remove both of our comments. I wrote them back and said this is the second time I bought the Vitamin C and I still not allow to write product review, I told them they are bias themselves, they favor some particular Vitamin C Serum seller, and not allow people to write products review on other vitamin C,serum. They also still did not answer my question ' WHAT DO THEY MEAN BY " YOU HAVE SUBMIT THE MAXIMUM NON-VERIFIED AMAZON REVIEW FOR THE WEEK, WHEN I NEVER WROTE ANY PRODUCT REVIEW IF I DID NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING. "I received a gift card as a gift that was purchased at a retail store. Card would not activate, and second level of Amazon support says card that was sealed when I received it was already redeemed. Nothing done to reimburse me. System is insecure, and legitimate customers pay for it. Amazon continues to sell them.
Furthermore, they blocked me posting this review to their website as, conveniently, it was deemed unfit for their terms."
"I'm a Prime Member, with FREE 2ND DAY DELIVERY! Good luck with that. Several times now my ordered products never arrived! On the site it indicates out for shipment! and will arrive before 8 pm. But it never does! So why even bother to be a Prime Member and paying for that? "Ordered a face cream. Through Amazon, from some sort of Honk Kong company. Estimated time 3 to 5 weeks. Ordered , left for vacation (3 weeks) arrived back, Amazon said the item was delivered ( verified mailbox - nothing) . Sent message to seller , they said the item was waiting to be picked up for two weeks then went back to them. When item will arrive to Hong Kong they will return the money(130 dollars).Rated the seller one star . Seller sent message through Amazon. Seller said if I retrieve the negative review they will refund me immediately . Is this some sort of blackmail ? under Amazon umbrella ? "A product was advised by Occulus. So I purchased it, but I looked for more information just after to purchase it. The customers were saying that this product is not so good for the occulus rift.
Only 15 minutes, I tried to cancel it. I was no able to do it. I contacted just after the customer service. They tried, but they didn t success. They told me that that they will cancel the full order. I had just to contact the when the package would be shipped.
Unhappily I trusted them. I did another order with the right product, I also purchased again the other product. They told me that they will cancel the full package.
But the next day, I contacted them again, they were not able to cancel the package and they didn t give me the refund. Now, I am just **** off.
Don t think, that you can cancel an order, it is not true. If I was purchasing this product in a physical store, I would have been able to take it back for free. With Amazon, you can t.
If it is possible to have your product for the same price in a physical shop, just do it, it is better.

"Horrible customer ervice in that there is none. I called and asked where I could send feedback and was put on hold why they looked for a link for me and then I was told that didn't exist anymore.
The delivery companies leave stuff on front door steps. Come on, what are the odds that your package will stay there all day in this day and age. I've had packages stolen and made the request to have all my packages be signature only. They said I had to speak to the carrier and the carrier said Amazon pays them so Amazon needs to make that call.
2 hours of holding and I finally spoke to Amazon again who could not help.
Going to cancel my account. Would rather support local businesses anyways who still have customer service availability.

It is very difficult to now if the product comes from China, Amazon hides that very well. Their deals are not that great. Do not shop Amazon. I did everything within the times they required. "Three times in a row this past month I ordered items and was told it’s on its way and will arrive on a specific date just to find out oops they were wrong and it’s not coming for another undetermined amount of days. So stupid, stop guaranteeing me a date and not making good on your promise. Also stop using Canada Post. You know how terrible they are And back logged.
