"I ordered a new grill to replace one that was old and worn out. My grill had a some cracks in it I wanted to replace it. American Trucks was easy to find an option I liked. All the replacement parts were easy to install. I couldn't sleep one night so I went out and installed it at 1am and took me less then an hour to get the new grill put on truck. Looks great. "I recently purchased a few upgrades for my 2024 RAM 2500. Most of the items were lighting upgrades. I was shocked to discover that there were no instructions or schematics to follow for a SAFE installation that would not pose damage to the truck or potentially cause harm to me if a fire started in the cab while driving. I called customer service and spoke with someone who could not answer why there were no instructions or schematics and also wondered why there were none.
When you invest $80-$90 thousand dollars in a vehicle you want to make sure it is safe for any who may drive it and do not want to be stranded somewhere because of some sloppy or careless or over looked installation faux pas.
In addition I was looking to purchase a set of "Ditch lights" of witch it became obvious that I quickly realized that everything was piece-meal when I was looking for a "kit" that included all the parts I would need for a solid installation. Why is there no "kits" or someone to walk me through this? It seems counter productive, time consuming, and would limit potential sales. If this website is targeted or used mostly to 3rd party installers or custom houses and NOT TO THE PUBLIC/CONSUMER then please put a message stating so.
I saw a harness that stated it was "MOPAR spec'd" but you have been out of stock for some time. I also went to the "Morimoto" site and found an installation PDF that used screen shots of the truck and how to wire it up. Why can't you include this in your information for this product or any other electrical installation?
In the end I do not know what "Brands" are highly rated against other brands. I do not know how much power is drawn by any of these products ar what care I should take in wiring up to the truck OR if there is a fuse and/or relay available OR a selection of different rocker panels. On top of all of this I get 5 e-mails a day showing me what I have already looked at with the entire impression of SHOVE IT OUT THE DOOR AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
That is not convenient, not helpful, nor intuitive and does not lend itself to me wanting to comeback and buy anything else. I mean make an effort and reach out to your vendors and ask them to supply this stuff, some already seem to have it available."
