"After choosing previous mattresses by lying on them for 30 seconds or so at a local mattress/furniture store only to find that what I thought was comfortable was not really so comfortable after purchasing, I decided the 30 second "test drive" approach was next to worthless. "We ordered our mattress online line based on all of the good reviews. It was delivered a few days later by FedEx, the box was completely destroyed because it is crazy heavy, but the mattress is shrink wrapped so well that I accepted it with no damage. The mattress comes rolled up tight and compressed into a roll, instructions tell you to open it and let it expand like 6 hrs before you lay on it. The mattress was good from the beginning but it feels so different that you need time to adjust to it, there is no bounce and it kinda holds you where you are. We both sleep better than ever. This is the most comfortable bed we have ever had and would buy it again."

"We feel completely misled by Amerisleep's "Wall hugging technology". It definitely does not deliver. When we complained about it, we were told that the bed should stay within about 5 inches from the wall but it is closer to two feet away. And the app is one of the most terrible apps we've ever encountered. Difficult to find online, pairing didn't work right away, favorite positions reset for no reason, unreliable and WHY for the love of all things holy, do you have to continue to push a button that has been set in favorites? Once you set the position to favorite, we expected to be able to push that button and then it automatically set to that position. But no. You must hold it down until the bed is in the specific position. Also, once we ordered, the website never updated the order. The bed shipped but the order said it was being prepared for shipment, even after we received it. Also, the shipping company that delivered the adjustable base was terrible!! They called to arrange delivery and then did not deliver in the time frame that they set. I took a day off work to receive delivery and they never showed up. After an hour on the phone, they said they would deliver the next day but we could not miss another day of work. And Amerisleep needs to be more clear about what 'curbside delivery' means. Literally, on the curb. The people who delivered ours, lowered it on a pallet, and left it at the curb. We live in a townhouse and our door is 50 feet from the curb and this bed base is HEAVY!! Lastly, the bed claims easy set up. That is not the truth. I am an engineer and there were many confusing parts of set-up. The underbed has an extended outlet that is not described anywhere in the set-up. There should be a pocket for so many of the chords under the bed, but they just jumble up under the bed. For the amount of money this adjustable base cost, it needs to be better designed. Another misleading claim is that you just bring the base in, plug it in and it's good to go. First, there should be MANY warnings about how heavy this bed is. It could be a security risk for some people to try to bring this bed base in based on how heavy it is. Also, the bed "adjusted" on it's own as we were setting it up and it almost pinched my wife's hand. Amerisleep representatives were not very helpful. "

"So I loved it, great shopping experience and fast delivery. I loved the mattress, however my wife did not. Ended up returning it (happy wife...) return went well also and fast refund. Only upset was they did not donate as they state. We watched as a crew came and tossed a brand new mattress in a dumpster truck. Sad.
