"The Amerisleep mattress came in a medium soft as recommended by the telephone person I dealt with. I went along with it but it definitely too soft for us. Our backs hurt and as my wife is a stomach sleeper, her's really hurt.

The quality of the mattress was good but it just wasn't for us and it didn't take long to find that out."

I wish I could test out the beds because there are different firmness levels, but I don't have an Amerisleep store around me. But their return/exchange policy protects you if you're unhappy."

"We purchased Colonial Bed AS4 almost a year ago, it’s very comfortable bed fits in to your body as your sleep, my wife and I really liked the bed for few months, then my wife start complaining about Hip Pain, we didn't know what was going on, we both were side sleepers that is the reason we bought this Colonial bed because as it says in their description is really good bed for side sleepers, she cannot walk as normal because of hip pain, she was using heat and cold pads and all other self-treatment, finally she started seeing Chiropractor doctor. Few months later I got Hip Pain and I was trying all self-treatments and not getting any better, I went to see Chiropractor doctor as well, he made a comment about our bed because we both have same hip problem, we are at our mid-forties and its very unusual people have hip problem from a brand new bed so it was hard to believe, the key noticeable factor is we both are having major hip pain when we get up in the morning, so we decided to switch bed, we start sleeping on our old pillow top Serta mattress and noticed very less hip pain when we get up in the morning. We are still living with Hip pain as today, few month later we tried to sleep again on Colonial AS4 Bed and same hip pain got severely bad so we are completely stop using this Colonial AS4 bed. It seems quality of the bed is not withstand as they promised in their warranty, we are talking with Amerisleep for exchange or replacement and they are not helpful at all. We both weighs less than 180Lbs, It seems mattress is not holding hip weight so hip weight sags in to the memory foam bed causing the pain, so if you are side sleeper please think twice before jump on this Colonial AS4 bed. Since we had hip pain after purchasing this bed we both are continuously seeing doctors and wasted lots of money on this useless bed. Just sharing our real story. Thanks"
