"I read the horrible reviews, but ordered a $300 battery from Apex anyway (shipped by UPS). So far the experience has not been great. The first battery was destroyed by UPS (I never even received the box, much less the battery). I repeatedly called and emailed Apex, they don't answer the phone, but respond to emails in 1-2 business days.
The second battery looks like it was rolled end over end, crushing both leads/terminals and rendering the second battery useless.
Not sure if the issue is Apex's packaging, UPS's rough handling, or a combination of the two.
Apex's general manager is now offering to ship me a third battery via freight.
If/when I eventually receive a working battery, I will update this review accordingly. "
"ordered a battery with apex help and they shipped the wrong battery. I have been patient, kind, and have sent in all the information requested including pictures. This was their fault 100% and now they wont even reply to my emails. Do not trust them! Do not place an order! Extremely poor service."
"A Bait and switch operation.
Ordered an American made battery from one company, but received a much cheaper Chinese knock-off.
Company claimed they told me of the switch, but didn't. And the invoice doesn't mention it.
Then the guarantee seemed to disappear.
Also, doesn't seem to have a real office or staff."
"I ordered a battery from this company. I called Monday 9/5/15, and asked if they had in stock. They said yes. I needed it by Thursday, and they said that it was 3 day delivery. I asked if Monday counted as one of the days. They said yes. Since then I have gotten the run around. I called several times the folks on the phone were pleasant but had no authority and had to refer to the manager. Finally got a shipping confirmation Wednesday 9/7/15 and that the expected delivery date was the next Tuesday 9/13/15. This was un acceptable, so I called the manager to have him redirect the package to over night to meet their commitment. I called the manger several times and they said they he was busy either away on break or at lunch. I have never gotten a call back from the manager. I requested cancelation. They said to refuse delivery, however I will not be home. They said that they will send me an RMA,,,hmm I wonder if I will get it. I will not get credit on my CC until they get the battery back.
This has been so frustrating I will never work with this excuse of a company again. ARGH!!!!"
