"I designed a phone cover trying a couple different ideas and placed the final one in the cart to purchase. I also used the same picture for a money clip I also ordered. Both pictures were the same as I saw them in the cart. I placed the order and checked back the next day to see the status of the order and saw a different picture on the phone cover other than the one when I checked out.
I got a run around telling me I would be charged an $8 cancelation fee and no changes could be made at that time. I explained I wasn't making a change I wanted my original order. They had a one track line coming back saying I couldn't make any changes.
The company has a nice idea and seem cheap but they are not reliable and the customer is always wrong so be ware. I would not recommend this company to anyone and once I receive my refund I will never go back to them again. I recommend others to be ware and also stay away. The prices are cheap but it doesn't mean you are going to get what you pay for. "
"Ordered a custom mouse pad using a special deal they had. Came out to 99 cents shipped. Quality of the mouse pad is satisfactory and about what I would have expected. Quality of the printing on the mouse pad was decent as well.
Was about average in speed when it came to processing and shipping. Their regular prices seem to be a bit high as well as their shipping costs. I don't think I would ever buy anything from them regular price. But as far as their reliability in getting you your item, they are good. If there are ever any good deals in the future, I would definitely take advantage of them."

"I bought an XL Cosmetic Bag with the 99 Cent Gift promotion, so I only paid 99c including shipping for something that would've cost $13.99+shipping! A steal! The trick to buying with Artscow is that you must take advantage of their endless promotions and discount coupons. I would never, ever pay full price for an item of theirs, and you shouldn't either.
I placed the order on the 6th of January, received an email saying it was shipped on the 11th and it arrived today (16th), a total of 10 days after checkout, which was MUCH faster than I anticipated, coming from Hong Kong and all. The bag was packaged in a plastic bag in another plastic postage bag, which I thought was fine for a cosmetic bag (though I hope they do better for other products). However, I noticed the postage sticker was ticked as "gift", which was done to avoid customs and is illegal since I had paid money for it. Ah well, that's Artscow's problem.
Their cosmetic bag, frankly, looks nothing like a cosmetic bag. Which is why I intended from the start to use it as a pencil case, which is what it looks and functions exactly like.
I gave a rating of 3 stars for pricing, as I judged this not including all the discounts and promotions, but at full price. Although their stuff is fairly cheap even without coupons, the quality you get is fair at best. But an XL cosmetic bag at 99 cents shipped? How can I complain!
I had no need to contact customer service or request a refund, as my order arrived promptly and undamaged. Unfortunately, the other reviewers didn't enjoy the positive experience with Artscow as I had.

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I have placed a couple orders from this place. Shipping takes over a month. The product quality is horrible. I ordered pocket mirrors and two of them broke before I was able to give them as gifts. I also ordered a purse using a picture I uploaded. I previewed the design before ordering and it looked great. When the order showed up to my door it had a huge white stripe where the image did not cover the entire print area. When I contacted customer service they said sorry there is nothing we can do about that. I asked for a refund or a replacement but neither was given to me. The company does not care about the customer and take no pride in the quality of their products. Stay away. I learned my lesson and will never order from them again. "
"I've ordered prints for artscow before, it took a while to get them, but they looked good and were cheap, so I decided to try out some of there other products.
I ordered a custom DOG TAG for my pet. The site says the tags are metal.
When the tag finally arrived, my image was printed on paper and then glued onto a metal base. The tag looked nice, but I wasn't sure about the paper. I went ahead and put it on my dog. The next morning I woke up to a sick dog. She had drooled and bit the tag (shes never chewed anything up in the 4 years that I've had her) and the tag came to pieces and made her sick.
The tag came with a long ball chain necklace, so maybe this product was never intended for pets. They should make that clear before someone's pet is killed.
SO IN SHORT:
DONT BUY ARTSCOW'S HONG KONG BAISED, PAPER, TOXIC, DOG TAGS, THEY WILL MAKE UR PET SICK. (and I'm assuming the same thing for young children who may put it in there mouth when used as a necklace.)

I loved it and really wanted to buy 12 MORE but they would not return any of my emails other than to ask what my order number was. Other than that they will not respond to my emails. "I ordered 2 sets of prints and one canvas. The first order I submitted was my 5x7 prints for my Christmas cards - submitted on nov 29. The other 2 orders were sent in over the following 3 days. I rec'd the last 2 orders within 10 days but still have not rec'd the first order. I emailed the company WHICH IS IN HONG KONG (but they never really show that on the website) and got one response as to how I had to wait. I emailed them every day and they would not respond. I finally got a response and they said they would only give me a credit it the order was returned to them in HONG KONG! Haven't they heard of lost usa mail?? Their customer service is horrible! They do have a USA Office in Texas but you can only mail them correspondance and you can only call the 1-877 number during HONG KONG hours! "Terrible Customer Service - They canceled my order and would not refund my money...
I have ordered from ArtsCow.com a few times in the past couple years, but the latest experience was terrible. I spent numerous hours and days designing a photobook. Placed the order and waited 2 weeks to hear that a FIRE had destroyed their hard drives and that my photobook order was canceled and even the saved design on my account was lost. Instead of promptly issuing me a refund, they gave me a credit to remake the photobook - which I would have to start over from scratch since everything was lost. They responded to my emails because I filed a dispute through my Paypal account. Once I opened the dispute through Paypal, they took away the free credit that they had put in my account, and have not given me a refund for the order that they canceled.
I used to order from ArtsCow because of its quality and prices. But there are many disadvantages with ordering from them besides their lack of customer service. Everything is via email unless you want to make an international call to Hong Kong. It typically takes 2 weeks to process your order and then another 1-2 weeks to ship it to you. But the worst of all is their work ethic and deceptive customer service tactics.
Because I had opened a dispute through Paypal, they did respond to my emails, however, they repeatedly insisted that I close the dispute before they would give me a refund. I emailed Paypal Support to ask how to respond, and Paypal strongly recommended me not to close the dispute until coming to a satisfactory resolution with the seller, because once a dispute is closed, it can not be reopened or escalated to a claim (basically then the seller will have no further motivation to respond to your emails or refund your money). I even forwarded Paypal's email to Artscow, but they ignored the email and continued to insist that I close the dispute before they would refund my money.
Bottom line: If you still want to order from ArtsCow.com, at the very least pay through PayPal and that way if you don't get your order, you can file a Paypal claim to get your money back. "
"I was so excited to find artscow because they had so many cool photo items, but they didn't keep their promises...
I wasn't too worried about the exorbitant shipping fees because the base price was so low. But nothing is worth this kind of hassle!
They didn't produce my order in the 1 to 2 days their website promised; they didn't ship my order within the time promised; and then when I did receive something, it wasn't what I ordered! They sent me someone else's order (with his name and address). So now my daughter's pictures, my name, and address are floating out their somewhere. And, yes, I am a little creeped out by that.
And when artscow finally responded to me, they kind of apologized and offered me more free stuff (if I paid the shipping).
The site says 100% satisfaction guaranteed, but they couldn't even credit my card (they said I would have to dispute the charges since they don't have a way to credit accounts). And they couldn't even figure out where my stuff was - I can only assume that they miss-ship a lot if they can't figure it out. After all, wouldn't anyone who did not receive their order let them know?
All I can say is buyer beware! I have never experienced this kind of bad customer service!"
