NEVER EVER use their online service! You will regret it!

"Three out of four items I ordered arrived damaged. Delivery people so unprofessional, irresponsible, and impolite. Devilry delayed for two weeks. Staff members not consistent and providing contrasting information. During the return and replacement process, each asking me to do something different, one asking me to return the damaged part, another wants the whole thing, etc. Wrong phone numbers provided to me by ASHLEY staff twice. Emails only being replied after 10 days. Phone being answered only after 45 minutes hold. Called them to update my phone number twice, they changed it twice, still the previous phone number in account! they wasted hours of my time and left a mess in my place for 3 weeks. I will NEVER, EVER buy from Ashley again."

Disappointed

"I’m a single Mom, coming out of a terrible divorce where I was left with barley any furniture. Placed a large order with very pleasant staff. Had to make changes that another staff member screwed up but was fixed to my satisfaction. My complaint is the mattress I purchased, I could have used a little more guidance and advice when choosing same. By the time I realized it was the too “firm” of a mattress that is causing my entire body pain Dailey , it was past the allowable return time per Ashley customer service. I advise to ask more questions before buying a mattress from Ashley, maybe shop at a mattress store first as the staff is not very informed or knowledgeable enough when selling mattresses. Everything else was great and kids and I love the furniture!!"

Useless

"We bought a living room set and we have been on the phone for 4 days over 8 hours and we can get an answer from corporate just to change a simple address. They pick up the phone and then just hang up!! Can't belive we have to cancel order in order to get a response from this sorry excuse of a company never ever will I ever buy anything from here again and I will never let friends and family buy from Ashleys. "

Please Read Before You Buy Furniture from Ashley

"Please read before you buy from Ashley Furniture...My family ordered a whole house of furniture and 90% of the furniture was damaged. All the furniture was sent back. Next delivery 85% of the furniture was damaged again and the delivery was sent back again. The company tried to charge us a restocking fee and we had to spend multiple hours on the phone fighting with this company to get a full refund. Do not buy from this company!!! There is something serious wrong with this company when a customer cannot order new furniture without it being damaged. "

Save yourself the time and go elsewhere....

"I've had the worst experience with Ashley furniture. I ordered a king size bed, mattress, box spring, dresser and 2 night stands. on 3/23/2020. Part of the order came via UPS. The other part was supposed to be delivered yesterday 4/9/2020. Most of it was delivered except the box springs. I called around for hours trying to locate the box springs. They said they didn't arrive in time to make the delivery. I never received communication of this. Now the box springs are at the distribution center. A rep told me they would be delivered today and then I got a text message saying call to schedule my delivery and the next available delivery date is 4/14./2020....5 days AFTER I received the bed. So now i'm without a place to sleep because I can't put the mattress on without the box spring. Communication and customer service has been the worst. We are in a pandemic while requires social distancing and to allow multiple deliveries with multiple people entering a customer's home is dangerous to me and my family. I have requested several times for a manager to call me back. I still have not received a call. I had one rep offer me a 75.00 store credit, which is a slap in the face. First, what is there in the store that close 75.00 that wouldn't require me to add additional money? Second, why would I want to patronize a business who treat their consumers as second class citizens as if their money means nothing. In the current state we are in, Ashley should be happy anyone is spending money with them. Word of advice....go to The Room Place or Value City. I've never had issues with them or their customer service"

Awful Customer Service

"I do not usually write reviews but I have had the worse experience with Ashley’s furniture. The product is awful and the customer service is even worse. I purchased the Savesto sectional sofa, as soon I  set it up I noticed two of the pieces did not align with the others. Those two pieces were also sunken in and you can feel the wooden frame is broken.  I called customer service several times explained my situation emailed pictures of the problem. I  was then told the pieces would be mailed out. 10 days later I receive a fabric cushion cover for one piece. Not sure why I received a cushion cover ( nothing is wrong with the cover).  I then call customer service back two times speak with Jennifer  and Sierra in Fort Worth, explain my situation over two both customer service agents. I am then told that a supervisor will call me back in 48 hours. No call back, I call request a supervisor again, I am told once again no supervisor is available and one will call me back.  I am then told they have to send a service tech out to see if the pieces need to be replaced. I am told someone will call me to set up a time. I never received a call back. I call back 10 days later only to find out the service tech is scheduled to come the following day.  No one called to verify this time was ok or to notify me of the time and date the service technician would be out.  If I would have not called I would have not known or been home. Service technician comes flips the piece over tears off the back of the sofa feels around the inside of the sofa, then staples that piece back with a regular stapler. He then tells me that someone will contact me in 7- 10 days to let me know what they have decided. He tells me to demand a replacement, that Ashley’s will give me a hard time about replacing the broken pieces. Never receive a call back. 12 days later I call customer service again, I am told that parts have been ordered and will be mailed to my house. I request a supervisor, I am not okay with a brand new sectional falling apart. I expected a call back to discuss the broken pieces. I receive two cushions in the mail from Ashley’s , I am assuming these are the parts they have sent out to replace the broken pieces. Called back spoke with Kristen in Memphis requested a supervisor she tells me no supervisor is available and she will have one call me back.  Again no call back. Called back two days later  spoke with Nikki in Memphis , she has to be the rudest customer service agent I have spoken to. I try to explain my situation, she talks over me the entire time saying this can not be escalated, there is no supervisor, repair is your only option. Nikki did not even take the time to look up my account to see what has taken place thus far, she just continued to say repair is your only option.

I still have not received a call back from anyone at Ashleys Furniture. My sectional is still broken.

Do not purchase anything from this store, the quality is awful and customer service is even worse!

Customer service is a joke

"We bought furniture from a store in Ft. Smith Ar. They were so nice and friendly in the store during our purchase. That’s where it ended.
We have been waiting on our furniture for over a month. I call they say someone will return my call they never do.
They delivered 3 pieces out of 7.
When we said we wanted to cancel our order and get our money back we were told it would take a month or more and we would have to pay a restocking fee. For what? We didn’t get the furniture. When we called and asked to talk to the manager we were told he was busy with guests and they were priority.
I will NEVER refer them to anyone or ever shop there again

Horrible customer service

"i ordered a TV stand yesterday on line and received it by UPS today. When i opened and took the first shelf out it was cracked all the way through.... broken. It was well packed, but i think UPS mishandled it. I tried calling them. The first two calls I was on hold for over 30 minutes and got disconnected. Frustrated. The third time, someone picked up after 45 minutes. Yes 45 minutes. She told me i had to email them with the information and include pictures (yes pictures) of the damaged shelf. Then within 48 hours they will respond back and have UPS come with a call tag. Then when it is picked up they will send a new unit. They sure process the order fast.... but when i say it is damaged ....isn't that explanation enough? I felt rushed because she appeared busy. Get more staffing. I don't think I will do business with them after this. "

Not Wothy of even 1 star

"We purchased a 3 person sofa with 2 seats that lean back when the middle portion of the couch CAVED IN literally less than 2 months after purchase. TRASHLEY Furniture refuses to take it back and their customer service is belligerent and even nasty. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They will only disappoint and rip you off. A service man came down to the house and said ” this is the manufacter’s fault” though, TRASHLEY furniture refuses to hear it. The couch is FALLING APART at the seams. Any synonyms for rubbish?
Bottom line is ASHLEY FURNITURE=JUNK

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!

"Ashley Furniture AS A BUSINESS DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR! They took almost THREE GRAND out of my account for a bed set i should have only paid $1,100 for. Their customer service line is so rude, they didn't help me whatsoever and didn't even try to make it right. I have had to call them SEVENTEEN times because they just keep taking money out of my account. Apparently they take out the amount and they are supposed to refund you, then they take out a little bit each time one item ships which it does not say that not ANYWHERE, apparently its in the terms in conditions (in tiny lettering of course). DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! There a pandemic going on and I don't have just THREE GRAND laying around when I've been laid off because of this whole virus thing. I only had the amount that I promised to pay when I ordered it. NEVER ordering or shopping here AGAIN! My packages didn't even come the time they told me they were going to be delivered to me and I've still been waiting for one item to come and its been two and a half weeks, not to mention i had to build it all myself and the directions didn't have any words and didn't even have all the pieces needed. HATE HATE HATE this store. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!"

Purchase the furniture and never eceived it.

"My wife and I purchased over $10,000.00 worth of furniture from Ashley Furniture on 11/24/2019. The purchase consisted of 2 bedroom sets and a living room set. They promised to deliver it in 2 deliveries. Ashley did not show up 3 times for deliveries. They did not even bother to call us. I had to make the 35 minute drive to the store at 19660 Restaurant Row Houston, TX three different times. One of the bedroom night stands we had to talked them into giving us the one off of the showroom floor. Finally in January we received everything except the remaining night stand. They promised that we would receive the night stand before January 29th. We never received the night stand or a phone call. When we called Ashley Furniture back, the manager who returned our call was not very helpful and did not seem to care whether we received the night stand or not. She told us we had to wait until March 13th to get the night stand. March 13th has come and gone and we still have not received the furniture. The new promise is March 18th. I doubt they will follow thru with that delivery date either."

BUYER BEWARE- The furniture is cheap and the warranty they sell doesn't cover what you will need.

"I purchased a sofa and a love seat for my son and his new wife in June 2018. I got them on special and purchased the 5 year assurance plan for $199.99. A year and a half later the sofa is already broken, the support is completely gone. I called into the store to ask about the warranty. They gave me the number for some Diamond Care coverage. I called and they could not find that I was covered, I was supposed to receive a call but never did. I found the original paper work and called the actual warranty company which was Ashley. I explained the issue and the woman gave me a claim number and asked me to email photos - this was Feb 12th. I requested follow ups and never received anything back. Today (March 12th) I called in and was told that the actual support and mechanism of the sofa is not covered. If it had a hole in it or if it was a recliner that wouldn't work then it would be covered. So basically Ashley Furniture sold me crap furniture and then sold me a 5 year assurance plan that wouldn't replace anything except a stain or a hole. My son and daughter n law do not have children so there are not kid jumping all over this furniture, it is two adults, normal wear and tear and it lasted 18 months. "

Ashley Homestore is a terrible place to shop. I will never do business with them again.

"I recently purchased a chaise sofa from Ashley Furniture in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, as the sofa was a little larger than we thought and was going to be, it made the room look smaller than it already was. I immediately called my saleslady as requested kindly if we can exchange the sofa for another one that was smaller. The salesperson threw the books at me and said that it clearly states in the receipt that no exchanges or refunds. If she told me that before I purchased, I would have never bought from them. This is furniture that comes from china in a container via ship that sits in a warehouse, not something that was custom made locally. They could've easily exchanged it and in return my loyalty wouldve remained with them, so I spent the rest of the $30,000 to furnish my home with Jordans furniture in Coquitlam B.C, Canada. I will never shop at Ashley again and neither will any of may family or friends. I am a new resident to Canada. That is not how we do business where I'm from. "

"We bought a radilyn coffee table with end tables. Top was advertised as faux marble. Top is actually a sheet glued on to the top. Has several parts that were slightly damaged. How can it be advertised that way"

Not happy

"This is probably the worse furniture I have ever bought. Was broke on arrival and they made me file a claim against my extended warrrenty and 6 months later so thing is broke again. Just me and my husband here so not used hard. Also it the most uncomfortable. I tried it at the store but you just don’t know til you use it for a bit. The sales lady was wonderful though. I give them high ratings for their staff. "
