"Spent over $12,000 with them each delivery date was a nightmare, excuses after excuses, delayed, partial delivery, back order, blah blah blah. No real concern from store and distribution center was an absolute waste of my time. After the fourth excuse for not being able to deliver when they said they would, and me missing work to be at home, we cancelled after four months with no bedroom set in sight. Then had fight to get money back! They have lost my business and anyone who will listen to me!"
"My customer service was awesome! I made approximately three or four visits to the store and my sales person was really patient with me until I finally made my decision and made my purchase. After that it went downhill. I made my purchase it took a month longer than I was told for the furniture to be delivered and then when it what is delivered and August 2019 the dresser was in operable I’m sure the delivery people knew it because in hindsight the way they left in a hurry. It was a day later before I was able to try and put my clothing in the drawers and when I pull the drawer out it fell straight to the floor. I pulled the next door app same thing the next two doors the same thing they all fell to the floor. I called Ashley of course they transferred me and referred me and referred me and referred me until I finally got someone that said I was going to have to take a picture of it and take a video of it and so on and so on that sick approximately another month or so. You see I am blind and getting in touch with someone at Ashley at Ashley it’s like trying to seek out your heritage. Every time I recall they would say the managers are in a meeting and they would put me on the manager callback list I have yet to this day to hear from a manager. Neither have I been able to use my dresser. They sent me gliders in the mail. Am I supposed to fix the dresser myself? Then a technician came out and told me that the dresser could not be fixed I would need a whole new dresser. If you weeks went by and I heard nothing from Ashley so I called again they told me they were going to have to send a technician out I told him the technician had already been out. Then they told me oh OK well we see here that the dresser can be fixed and we’re gonna send another technician out. I hung up frustrated. A few weeks later I get a box in the mail and it has a piece of wood in it! I guess now I’m supposed to put the piece of wood on the dresser! No way! I purchased a new dresser that was supposed to be built at the manufacture or the warehouse and that’s what I’m going to get. At this point I don’t think I should have to pay for a dress or my clothes have been sitting in boxes and bags and plastic bins now I’m almost through paying for the dresser. As I said poor poor poor customer service I have yet to speak to a manager or anyone that is in any position of authority to do something about my situation it is as if they don’t even care. I am truly frustrated actually frustrated is a very light word I cannot say the words of how I feel at this moment I think they’re taking advantage of me at the least. To think that I’m going to rebuild a dresser in my house is ridiculous no one is coming in here and putting a nail or a piece of glue or anything of the matter or build anything in my house. If I could drive this dresser would be sitting in there she’ll show room in the morning and every customer in there with your my story actually I think I’m going to call the new station and send them the video that I have"
"So spent $3000 buying a new bedroom set. Every shipment we have gotten so far three, is dented horribly! When calling you wait 45min just to get a human on the phone, for them to tell you if you want a guarantee of no scratch to pick it up yourself from the warehouse. Excuse me but I just dropped 3K at your store and that’s unacceptable. Apparently they don’t know how to properly package furniture because it ALWAYS comes damaged, and the UPS company doesn’t care they leave them on the side upside down. I would run and actually buy from a legitimate company that actually can deliver you the product as it should be. This never happened with my last set from West Elm. So I will be cancelling my complete order. Thanks for ruining Christmas!"
"Ashley Furniture offers, “better sleep at a better price.” I trusted that they meant that. I listened to the pitches and rolled on trust given they knew the technology of the mattresses as experts. I paid the price for the highest end product. I am experiencing health issues on it. The company has denied a reasonable exchange for a lower-cost item when no other restitution was requested otherwise, and there was no way to really identify causality connected to issues with the mattress until I had this opportunity to be in NYC to live on a pillowtop as comparison for a few days, and all health issues cleared. I am just outside the 90 days by 12 days, if counted by purchase date, which makes no sense as it is supposed to be a “trial” period, and no one walks home with the mattress on the purchase date. As of the delivery date, it’s no more than 5 days later than the 90 if at all.
Please contact your state’s attorney general’s consumer division. Your state’s attorney general’s website should have a portal through which you can submit a consumer complaint. If enough complain, states attorney generals individually and severally can bring action against such companies. After winning, all the more civil law suits (class action or otherwise) prevail. Do it! I called Ashley a few times today, and let them know that I am going this route. I’m disheartened to read how poor their customer service is generally here. I do encourage all to pursue. I’ll post everywhere on social media as well as here and submitting to both Texas and Illinois Attorney Generals."
"Ashley is the worst company out there and I can tell you that with experience. I paid $1000 for mattress and my neck started hurting, back pain and even have hard time breathing sleeping on this mattress. So I called had the technician, he came over and exchanged the mattress and within a week same issue with the mattress happened and we experienced the same problem. They came down again and I said why don't you let us exchange this mattress with some other one and I AM NOT ASKING FOR MONEY BACK and the respond was we don't have a replacement policy at Ashley's. I explained to them I cant sleep and i am sleeping on the floor because your mattress is killing me. I spoke with Rick, I spoke with some female named Ms. Tanner and I kept on calling them just to get an item for the price I paid for. DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY BECAUSE ALL YOU GONNA GET IS DISAPPOINTMENT. "

"I ordered a bed online on Thanksgiving weekend delivery date was set for December 12th rearranged my entire schedule for this delivery only to be called the morning of the delivery that they don't have any in stock! After calling around 2 find out that there is nothing that they can do with complete attitude from all Representatives including from corporate I still don't have my bed and I can't have it until after the New Year. They also decided to explain that they can't help me in any other way there's no way to get me a similar bed and there's nothing else they can do. I canceled my order and will no longer ever be shopping with this company."

"I purchased a sofa online and in 3 weeks I was never able to speak to a representative regarding my order or my delivery date. No one answered my emails either. Terrible customer service, disappointing purchase. When I ordered the item the website stated 1-2 week delivery. I canceled order and wouldn't recommend this company. "
