"I am not real happy with this company. I was told my parts would ship in 3-7 days, it is now day 7 and my parts have not shipped. When you call the "800" number you get told to email them ( no matter what selection you choose ). When you email them you get excuses ( i don't like excuses ) take the blame and fix the problem, that is the way to do good business. they at least offered to reimburse my shipping cost but that has yet to be seen. Overall I don't think I will do business whit this company again, unless they are the only ones carrying my part..."

"UPDATE: After seeing my review the manager at AutoPartsEXPRESS contacted me to remedy my problem with the mismatched parts. Initially I asked for a shipping label so that I could send the parts back to get a refund, but he simplified it and just gave me the refund. (To much trouble/cost for them to have the parts shipped back? Oh well, I guess one of the parts was not packaged correctly anyway...) I am pleased the customer service / returns issue was solved, and I am thankful that the customer service manager bothered to contact me. It is too bad that it took a negative review (initially 1/5 stars) and the customer service manager (rather than the original representative) to get it taken care of. For that whole sordid story see my original post below:

I received my order quickly, and that is the only thing that went right. Two of the four parts I ordered were outer tie rod ends for an 89' Honda Accord. Both parts had the same number and came in identical boxes with the part number I ordered, but both were not the same part. The mismatching part did not appear to be compatible with the ball-joint taper in the steering knuckle, so I didn't try to install it to see if it fit. (Can't return installed parts.) The other part had a shaped flange area shorter than the hole in the steering knuckle. It was long enough to fit through the knuckle, but wouldn't have contact with the entire tapered hole in the knuckle. In addition, the ball-joint boot (dust-cover) was not seated on the ball joint, nor would it seat on the ball joint. It was an a very inferior part. (I call this a manufacturing flaw, but apparently this is the way it comes, according to the store representative. (More on this later.) I called the customer service phone number and entered the appropriate option on the menu. I waited for some time (5 minutes or more) and then finally it switched over to a recording (with static) saying I should email "****@****" Okay, but why have a phone number if you are going to do that; and why make me wait on hold to tell me that?
I sent the email and received an outrageous response! The rep said that my chassis was probably a 90' (It is an 89' model of Accord). What utter nonsense! (As to the actual date of manufacture, it was 88' - on the door tag.) The rep also stated that the unseated boot is how the part is manufactured and sent me an image of the outer tie rod end with the boot clearly separated from the ball joint (not seated.). Just for a sanity check I went back to the website, which *does not* show the same picture. In picture the boot is up against the ball joint (but still not seated, if you investigate the picture very carefully.) If I had seen that picture I would not have ordered that part. I have *never* seen an outer tie rod end with an unseated boot, and I have seen a fair number. This is not all that common in the U.S. For the tie rod end that I received with the unseated boot, this is a misrepresentation on the part of AutoPartsExpress.com. Besides, the part was not a safe match for my car, considering that not all the ball joint would contact the tapered hole in the steering knuckle.
I had to complete the job the weekend I started it, so I couldn't dicker with them for replacement parts, I had to by something at a local auto parts store. (This was my commuter car.)
The rep said I could initiate a return using the website. On the website to initiate a return I have to agree to pay shipping. The problem with this is I am wanting a refund for parts I was unable to use due to their mistake and misrepresentation, so I am not going to pay return shipping for their mistake and misrepresentation.
In short their customer service is rude (don't patronize me) and disingenuous (don't send me a *different* picture of the part then the website showed when I ordered it). They are unwilling to make good on their mistake. As far as I am considered this company is blacklisted!
