"I am in retail car sales people take their car to AutoZone for a check light a month after I sell it the first thing they say is somebody disconnected the battery so you wouldn't have an engine light that they were trying to deceive you I'm getting tired of your customer service Representatives telling my customers this"
"I installed a GMB "lifetime" warranty water pump from this parts house. I had to replace it after 30K. Well this is on a 2.7L Chrysler Sebring, not a simple job. The OE pump went 128K and this was the fault of the first owner putting in the wrong coolant and it still went 128K. When I tried to get the stock timing chain tensioner to re-latch so back to the Zone and get a new tensioner. Got it all back together and running then the week old radiator from the Zone started leaking. Tear it all apart again and change that. Thru the week driving the timing chain would rattle as the new tensioner would back off, tear it all apart and change that. Now the replacement started backing off ALL THE TIME! I have now installed a Mopar tensioner and had to replace some chain guide components owing to the faulty tensioner. This could have blown up my engine!"
"I was on my way home from work and stopped in at Auto zone in Monroe Nc 1239 Rosevelt BLVD . I ask the gentleman at the counter if he would check my batterie and altanator . His responce to me was not today it's raining . I went to Advance Auto across the street from Auto Zone and they were happy to help me . $160 .00 later I was on my way. I will never go back to Auto Zone for anything.

"I ordered an alternator online. When I found out it was my battery and not the alternator, I returned the part to the Amelia Ohio AutoZone. I was told I would get a refund within 3-5 business days. Here we are 13 physical days and 9 business days, no refund, over drafted $33, and still no money back.
I called customer service multiple times. I was told this would be escalated to a manager and receive a call back within 24 hours. 72 hours later and I only have gotten a response from email asking for my return number. I gave them the return number and they say it's my bank holding my money. I called the bank for a 3rd time, my bank never holds credits and issues them immediately. So customer service is trying to cover their tracks for the mistakes they've made.
Since customer service ****, I decided to call the store and the manager. He says it looks like it was put in as a part swap. I never traded out a part I brought it back for a refund. When he gave me a receipt it said $162.02 and he said this is being refunded. Horrible experience all around. I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB to step in and help me get my money back."
"Ordered a transfer case chain through this autozone and paid for expedited shipping because I needed the vehicle repaired quickly. The transfer case itself is fine, the chain inside of the transfer case is stretched. Was assured that they were able to get the right part (at a relatively exorbitant price for said part,) but paid regardless because I had no other choice. Got a call that my part came in so I went into the store to pick it up, two of the employees struggled to find the ordered part for 10+ minutes with the name and phone number provided. When they found the part that I had ordered it was an entirely different part than what I had ordered. The guy who handed me the part had no idea that a transfer case chain even existed. I pulled up the part online (with relative ease,) and showed him the difference. He spent another 10-20 minutes typing random things into his system without saying a word about what he was doing. Managed to get a full refund, but for the time being I’m out almost $90 while waiting for my refund to process and needing to go elsewhere for my part. If you don’t know something that’s fine, but the arrogance of saying that you know exactly what I’m talking about, have found the correct part, charge me for it, and it turns out to be a part that goes into an entirely different part of the car is not only astounding, but also incredibly aggravating. I refuse to bring my business here and strongly advise that no one else does either. If you want to work at a car parts store at the very least have some basic knowledge of different car parts, and if you aren’t familiar with a specific part, acknowledge that and ask for help."
"Ordered brakes and rotors. Ordered front and rear rotors and front brakes to get 20% off and next day delivery. The order showed up the next day. I thought this was great.
Ordered front and rear rotors and rear brakes with the 20% off and next day. Nothing. Sent an email to CS. Received an email from CS and another right after stating the order was shipped. Days later I asked CS where the order was. They said they would research. Days later I ask CS again. They said it was canceled. No noticed that it was canceled! What the hell!
Ordered again. Brakes showed up the next day (no rotors). the next day I received an envelop with the invoice in it (no rotors). Who know where they are. Supposedly, they will be here in 2 more days.
If you order online, be prepared to have your order canceled or show up (if at all) days later."
"My brake lights went out as well as a tail light on my Sebring. Keith at Autozone waited on me and could not have been nicer!! CAme our to my vehicle and assessed the situation, then installed new bulbs and had me back on the road in no time. I would highly recommend Autozone for anyone on their own and needing basic auto fixes. They’ve also installed new wipers for me in the past and have always been extremely nice "
"This review is not about just the store but autozone as a whole. The web sight is awful i strongly recommend not ordering anything from them online. Shipping dates change promos disappear when you finalize the order and when you call the just say sorry nothing we can do. They got me once but will never get me again will never do business with autozone again"
"One employee was too lazy to check compatibility of a right and left axle on my car. Now it is affecting my job and making loud unsettling noises. The store manager acted very stubborn and stupid. Its like she skipped elementary school."
"Its been 4 weeks still no part still no money back I got thrown on the back burner and forgot about..
Complained multiple times and they never return my phone calls nor my emails had to go on the Paypal to start a claim and still no response from the seller which is autozone.
Dont ever order online you will never get the item nor your money back! "
"The moment I walked to the store the employee there already acknowledged by greetings... and the store manager came and helped me and he also answered every questions that I asked. It was amazing coming to a store and to see this awesome customer service thank you again, pierre. "

"I have shopped at AutoZone for years and always stuck by them even if Other stores had the parts a little cheaper but after this experience online I will never shop at AutoZone Again ! It's been 3 week and still have not received a refund for parts I never even received they canceled the order when it was in transit I will stick with a company who will take care of there customers "
"So, this is my opinion and going to be an honest one. I'm sure that AutoZone is making enough money and doubt they would giva damn about my 2 cents, BUT I DON'T GIVA **** IMA TELL IT LIKE IT IS!!!! AutoZone the ****, we all know this. They have all the parts on deck and that's cool. However, THEY ARE **** EXPENSIVE ASA MF!!! ****! Man, I get all of my parts from PARTSGEEK.COM because I SAVE MAAAAAAD DOUGH YO! **** MAD $$$! Partsgeek is like 40-60% cheaper than AutoZone. THAT COULD BE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH MF! lol naw, im just kidding, but sometimes life is tough and EVERY DOLLA COUNT! SMH, if you have to fix your car go to AutoZone first to see the retail price and availability and then go to Partsgeek, Amazon, and Ebay. Sometimes on Ebay you can contact the manufacture directly and REALLY SAVE MONEY! Now for brakes or a battery DEFINITLY GO TO AUTOZONE BECAUSE THE HAVE A NATIONWIDE WARRENTY DATA BASE, BUT FOR EVERYTHING ELSE TRY THE METHODS LISTED ABOVE. The objective it complete the job correctly @ the lowest ticket possible, YAH DIIIIIG! Hope this helps you my people! "
