"WHAT A SCAM!..i ordered parts from these people for my 1998 dodge d350 truck. before ordering, i called them and verified everything was in stock as i ddnt have time to wiat for the stuff or shop around and buy from 203 different places. they assured me the parts were all in stock and available ad i would receive them within a few days because their warehouse was in california ( where im at) so it didnt seem to be an issue. well, after several days of not hearing from them, no tracking ect i went to their website and checked my order. nothing had happened, so i called their customer service directly t inquire about my parts. it tok the service phone person literally 30 minutes to locate my order in their system, and then i got the old "can i please put you on hold?" treatment. well, i literally sat on hold not for 10 minutes, not for 20 minutes but literally for AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES. finally the service rep came on and told me 3 of my parts were not in stock ( which they were when i made the order) and they were going to issue me a credit refund for them. i never got it. then i had to call them back and asked to speak to a supervisor ( i got some lady named 'alan" at extension 759 you cant even understand her accents so thick) and was assured by her my parts would be shipping the next day and i would hear from someone thru them with shipping ad tracking info, which never did. well, i finally got alan on the phone again today ( after getting the third degree from their customer service rep on what it was about, you cant dial an extension directly you have to go thru their switchboard) and got her on the phone. she said my parts had shipped but couldnt provide me any info . when i put her on the spot and asked her WTF was going on, anfd confronted her with all of the crappy reviews and scam alerts on their company ( i did a google search) and told her about being put on hold for 1 hour 45 minutes before, she hung up on me! i called back and sat on hold over an hour ( im STILL on hold, im writing this while trying to reach them)and still nothing. i would recomend NOT ordering from them, and if you did, contact your bank and make a fraud report on them, and direct the bank to do a gogle search on them and their scams. "These guy's suck. They do not check their resellers out. I bought an item from Michael's Salvage, it took a month for it to arrive. Michael's Salvage did even return my many calls and emails. When my item finally did arrive, it was missing some parts and was cracked. Buyers Beware!"
"Do not buy anything from Automotix. I brought a taillight for my truck. Long story short they sent me the wrong one. I called them around 7 times before on got anyone. Customer service rep told me that they would send a the correct one and pick-up the old item. Never received it and been trying to get a hold of them for past two weeks. Do yourself a favor, don't buy anything from them.

"Unbelieveable. I ordered an instrument cluster and got a speedometer. After calling customer service several times and being told that they would call me back several times (which they never have) I asked to return the speedo for a refund. Was told the part is "not available for return" In short, I paid $96 for a $20 speedo that I didn't need and can't return. Now they say that they are trying to find the rest of the cluster to "complete the order" but I doubt that I will ever see anything. They are rude and unprofessional and if I treated my customers this way I wouldn't have any customers. The part was shipped from "Quality auto parts" in Chicago, although they might actually be in Kansas City. Difficult to get any real information. Would NEVER do business with them again."
"I would NEVER order from these people again.
Ordered a "Universal" replacement seat belt. It wasn't universal. I've been trying for almost 3 weeks to get a return authorization. Everytime they ask for useless information and then tell me they'll email the number. It's been 6-8 phone calls and each time it's starting from square one.
Been promised the number each time, except the last when I finally hung up out of frustration. Never received one."
"One true "Are you kidding?" experience. I am a business professional who ordered a taillight from this company. The salesperson assured me that a plastic guard affixed to it was removable. It was not and I called for a return authorization number. Upon recieving the number, I returned the item and requested delivery confirmation. Two weeks after the part was delivered, no credit had been issued. I called customer service and was told that my order number and return authorization number were not to be found in the system. At that point, I was asked to redial and enter extension 579. Upon calling extension 579 at 10:30ET, I received a message that the individual at that extension was "out to lunch." Out to lunch on an island in the Atlantic Ocean? Something is wrong here. Will have the issue handled by my credit card company.
Between the return delivery confirmation date and the experience noted above, a customer service rep was able to find my order number in the system and gave me a "credit approval number" to verify with my credit card company. However, the individual at Discover Card could make no sense of the 12-digit number.
What a joke."
"This site seems to be a conglomeration of sites and they have several alias domain names. I used http://www.dodge-auto-and-parts.com/ because my part was for a Dodge. I bought a replacement turn signal housing for my 1994 Dodge Intrepid. It took five business days to arrive (as expected) and was sufficiently packed. I did have to file a little plastic off the small opening for the bulb (which fit fine in the original part), but this was no big deal. All-in-all I'm satisfied with the experience and would buy from them again if the price was reasonable. The branch I bought from (Auto Body Parts) turned out to be US AUTO PARTS (partstrain.com) and the bbb.org record on them shows them to be a BBB member in good standing."
