"i ordered some instant conditioner for the pool on Sun and expecting it to come in a couple of days. After 4 days (now Thurs) I called to get a status. The person answer who was nice said he get back to me. He did not call back. I called the next day Fri, (same person answered) and he informs me that the instant conditioners was on back ordered and would not be shipped until Mon. I told him I could not wait because my pool needed the chemicals now. The company cancelled my ordered and credited my CC on the following Mon. I had to go to the local pool super and spend more money on the conditioner that if I would have gone to another online pool store. They did apologize but no financial reimbursement such as a future coupon to come back. The person did say someone should have contacted me to inform me of the delay. Not sure if this was true or not. This was my first experience with them and it wasn't a pleasant one. I will probably give them another chance since a good friend referred them to me."

"prices are good and items were received in good shape. item quality was also as promised. everything one could want from an online store, except for one thing. due to the fact my billing address and shipping address are different backyard pool superstore placed a hold on my order. after 10 days, 2 emails and a phone call they shipped order almost 2 weeks late costing me a pool filter install from local installer and i now have to do the job myself or wait until august to get another appointment. to me, this is very poor customer service, i opened an online account with backyard pool superstore, paid for items ordered. the least they could have done was call me to confirm information and ship my order on time. if you have a deadline for install, you may want to shop some were else. "
