"My order would be a good example why purchasing big ticket items should be done with your local dealer. I wrote what I had already as a machine and torch saying I inteaded to use the machine torch I had just purchased as an upgrade for my older cutter 1000 so I ordered my new machine with the hand torch. Only to find out the torches were not inerchabgeble? I had asked if there would be anything else that I needed and explained what I had but the salesperson never told me I couldn't do what I inteaded to. A local dealer would have known and I would have seen first hand it wouldn't work. Now I have to purchase another machine torch for an extra $1000.00! I need the machine torch more than the hand since I have a cnc plasma table. I feel that the salesperson should have offered to sell me the machine torch at cost! When I first placed my order it went through only to be told days later they didn't have a machine in stock. I had to wait until one became available then it was sent to them and then me? To be honest I should have just been allowed to order direct from Hypertherm. Ordering online isn't going to get me help from the dealer if needed. At least if bought local the dealer would want me to be happy!
