"I have ordered several saw blades. The first one, I just touched a screw and it was toast. I have now ordered 2 more blades - - one a softback and one a metal blade. I have been using the wood cutting blade and it seems to work fine. I wish that they had a saw sharpening service. Perhaps they do and I don't know about it. My blades are 17.5 feet long, so to order new blades is expensive and since I use these for myself and I am retired, I would like to be able to have them resharpened and reset.
But, as far as service, Bandsaw Direct has been great and the saw blades are great given that I don't know a whole lot about them and I am in the learning process. I would love to get one of their carbide tipped blades, but there is no way that I can afford them; But, they do look like fantastic blades."
