Unable to purchase it due no where to find special printable store coupon for purchase

"I was looking at the black Friday sale flyer and saw the following week hot deal was on a S&W Shield 1.0. Sale price in the flyer was $299. Less a store $50 gift card could be used at purchase if downloaded from store web site prior to purchase (no where to be found on their web site) Manufactures rebate for $50. as well. I was unable to find the rebate on the web site so drove 20 miles to the store to see if I could purchase it and get help downloading the store gift card toward the purchase. Of course no more in stock in store only purchase. I work all week like most hard working american's and could not get to the store until Saturday evening. This is just another example of not being satisfied with Bass Pro. Last time bought two pairs of Duck boots and they came apart within a month of wearing them. Cheaper to throw them out then spend my time and gas to go to the store and get a refund or offer a another pair of poorly made imported boot. Just about lost a customer for life. Three strike rule and one to go. This is not how you keep customers. "

Ripoff

"Bought Cabelas 2 pairs waiding boots but they both lost outsole in 1 year. Went today all the way to Hamburg PA to return or swap , but they would not honor lifetime warranty since Basspro took it over. Hey, if you still selling Cabelas name you should offer Cabelas warranty and dont give me your 60 day new crap warranty. Was going to spend more money in this store, but got **** off. They will never see my $. This store ****! "

2 day shipping ends up being7 days

"Ordered shirts guaranteed fed ex 2 day shipping. Except, it took 7 days because it came from manufacturer. Order arrived in Hutchins Tx 60 miles from destination on Thursday. Not delivered until following Wednesday.
If Bass Pro is going to use fedex smartpost then just use USPS. Would have been here on Fri.

Worlds Worst Customer Experience

"I'm stunned that I was "LIED TO TWICE", by Bass Pro Shops customer service!!! I placed an on-line order, received confirmation of the order & amount, a short time latter, I checked the order & Bass Pro had increased the price without cause or notification, I called & they corrected the amount, a short time latter, when checking delivery status, I discovered they had again increased the price, I called and ONLY NOW do they tell me it's in US dollars, even though the web site I ordered from was showing me stock levels at my local Ontario Canada store in Vaughan, with NO MENTION OF IT BEING US PRICES (Apparently they hide that, and customers are expected to figure it out on there own, by spending hours exploring every drop down on their site...BUYER BEWARE), after discovering I had been scammed, I told them to cancel the order, I was assured the order had been cancelled, and a refund had been issued, (only to discover 4 days latter, I WAS LIED TO, THE ORDER WAS NOT CANCELED and NO REFUND ISSUED), when I received an email confirming my order was being delivered, I had been lied to again!!! The order had NOT BEEN CANCELLED and I had to start all over again!!! I recently purchased to boats, and was planning on buying a brand new one from Bass Pro in the spring, good thing I discovered how horrible a company Bass Pro is before that, NOW, I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BASS PRO EVER AND I WILL WARN EVERY ONE I KNOW NOT TO DEAL WITH BASS PRO SHOPS!!!!!!!!!! "

"Everything went down hill when they purchased Cabelas. Cabelas needed to be bought out they were failing. Why BPS decided to take on the policies of a failing company is beyond understanding.

Cabelas ruined Bass Pro plain and simple.

I miss Cabelas

"The clothing is cheap. From hunting clothes to casual clothing, it is just terrible. Us hunters North of the Mason Dixon line expect quality . We hunt in extreme conditions a lot of the time , we expect things to hold up. BPS can sell cheap clothes to your southern base, but try to make quality clothing for the Northern section. Or you could sell it back to Cabela's . I was loyal to Cablea's . Now I will have to find somebody that believes in quality"

Horrible business practices

"I purchased a $100 dollar e-gift card online as a present for a family member. They recently realized that they never used it because received the card. I found the original email with proof of purchase and contacted customer support with the hope that a new card could be issued. I was told that they purge all purchase records after 18 month so they had no way of tracking its use unless I provided them with the actual card number - which I cannot do because it was never received! We have to keep personal tax records for 7 years but they get rid of purchase info after 18 months for gift cards that never expire???? What a load of nonsense! it's clearly an attempt not to help consumers recover what they rightfully paid for. Look to other companies that actually value their customers. "

Nightmare

"I ordered a Beaver Tail boat for my sons birthday from Bass Pro which had a 10 day delivery window. It now has been almost 3 months and even though they charged my VISA at the time of the order I still do not have the boat. What is worse is every time I write an email requesting the boat I get another bogus excuse after another bogus excuse. This place is bad news."

Bait and Switch Shipping!

"Placed an order on Monday the 12th expecting to have it arrive by the weekend with their current “fast and free 2 day shipping”. Long story short they marked the item as “shipped” on wednesday, no problem it will still be here on Saturday at the latest. Well, tracking didn’t update again until 3:30 Thursday which said that they had finally got the package to Fedex. Still keeping my hopes up it might be here by Saturday. Tracking updated again at 9pm saying the scheduled delivery date is the 23rd next Friday. They shipped my package SmartPost! This was not even close to advertised. It also screwed me out of expedited shipping I paid to have another item from another retailer arrive before the weekend to compliment what I ordered. Very disappointed, I will no longer be doing business with BPS, not like they care obviously."

Not reliable

"Placed an order for two items mainly because they had Fast and Free 2 Day Shipping. One item shipped right away and arrived as advertised. Second item was put on backorder. After receiving notification of backorder, out of stock. I went online and loaded the same item in my cart and BassPro.com showed the item in stock. The response I received from BassPro was that it was in stock but they were doing inventory and could not ship until the inventory was done. They need to state that to the customer and not lie that it was out of stock. Item then shipped a couple of days later but with an estimated delivery date of 7 days later. When I questioned BassPro why the simply stated that any backorder items are not under the 2 Day Shipping criteria any longer and standard shipping is used. What is to keep BassPro from placing orders on backorder so they do not have to pay the higher 2 day shipping but they have your order already. I don't trust BassPro any longer."

BAD MERCURY MOTOR BAD SEVICE BAD MECHANICS

"I purchased a 2016 Bass Tracker PRO 170 w/ 40HP Mercury 4 stroke motor. First year it ran great in spring of 2017 I took it to Bass Pro In Colorado Springs CO the same place I bought it. It has never ran more than an idle since then despite 5 trips to Bass Pro to have it repaired under warranty. We live 135 miles away so each trip (drop off, pick up) is 270 miles. You do the math and figure how much we spent on fuel! Also hauling to lake, taking it in and out, and taking home without fishing. The boat has sat at Bass Pro for months both last summer and now this summer and has not been able to be used in 2 summers. So we have lost months of fishing for TWO YEARS, multiple $100;s spent on gas, plus wear and tear on truck, trailer, lost personal time and much more including your mental health just because they don't care how far you come, how much it costs or how it affects your life. The Store Manager would not call me, the Boat Manager would not call me, after all these problems he had the serviceman call me! Now we have to drive another 540 miles I have to haul this back to Bass Pro but they're not responsible for anything, not even repairing your motor under warranty, Think Twice Friends Bruce Drysdale"

There wasn't a zero star

"We purchased a new 2018 bass boat from Bass Pro Shop rather than other dealerships, largely based on piece of mind after the sell. We went on to purchase/order an additional seat, $400 and 4 weeks later, we got it! Yay! However, the seat doesn't secure to the boat like it should. We have called and emailed the store numerous times, even resorted to calling corporate, only to be referred back to the purchase store. It's been 3 more weeks since we got our seat and we've yet to get a response and are beyond frustrated! I will never make a large purchase from Bass Pro Shop again! We love our boat and the seat looks great, it just won't secure to the boat like it should. Did they order us the wrong seat or do we need to purchase additional parts? That's all we need to know. They were super helpful making that sale but afterwards, crickets chirping..."
