"Used coupons from hotdealsclub.com to order a batch of AA and AAA batteries at a great price. Order shipped quickly and arrived via Priority Mail. Packaging was excellent. The only hiccup was that the on-line tracking system indicated a UPS tracking number for the order, which was invalid, rather than the USPS delivery confirmation number."
"Its been over a month that I order 2 sets of 40 AA batteries pack and I haven't gotten the order or any emails or note from the company. Status shows "out of stocks" for more than a month now. I sent them email but never got any replies back.
I would never buy from them nor I recommend anyone to shop there. "
"I ordered 4 rechargable batteries + a charger that was suposed to come with 2 batteries. When the order arrives I was short the 2 extra batteries. Contacted customer service to resolve the issue and was told that it was my mistake and I ordered the wrong charger. Normally I would be ok with that but I linked directly to the charger + batteries from another site that many people ordered through so I know it was the correct item. I am having to pay for return shipping + not getting refunded shipping because they screwed up. They were also unwilling to simply send me the two batteries."
"I purchased a replacement cordless phone battery. The item was on sale, with free shipping and I found a 15% off coupon. It was a fantastic price and they shipped it the same day."
"Batteries.com bought a extra camcorder battery from them. Good price. Quick shipment. Easy"
"Excellent service! Recieved 15% discount on already-great price. Headset arrived in only three days (non-expediated)! Will buy from again!"
"Located them through a NextTag search. Batteries.com honored their 15% coupon on NextTag, but they did not honor the shipping on NextTag.
$2.99 versus $1.49.
Talking to their customer service reps about the discrepancy was frustrating. They seemed to be unaware of the exixtence of NextTag."
"I ordered a backup battery for my toshiba laptop and it arrived quickly after I placed order. I was very satisfied. But this is not the end of the story. In a couple of weeks after use, I find the battery does hold full charge, but not long. Each time I turned off the laptop (not standby or so), the battery discharged quickly. In a day, 40% charge was gone, in two days, 80%, and in the third day, no charge left. I was very upset and so I called the customer service today ***-***-****). Not long after wait, Steve picked up the line and I explained my situation. He immediately issued a replacement for me. When I told him that I am moving to California in a few days and whether he could send it to my CA address or expedite the shipment to my current one, he told me that the next shipping will be $29.99 but he would only charge me $2.99. I said OK and felt very happy. Then I asked him how I could send the battery back to him, he told me to keep it to save me the hassle of shipping it back. WOW. You do not see this kind of service often, do you! I would recommend this site to all my friends and definitely will by from them again."
"I placed an order with Batteries.com on June 22, 2006 and received a partial shipment. I have requested assistance and received no reply. It's been a month and a half, and I've given up hope that they will send the remainder of my order.
I would not recommend shopping here."
"I placed an order on 5/24/06 for an order that was not currently in stock. (Order ID: 531726-***-***-****)
I didn’t have a problem waiting until it came back in stock.
So I would periodically log into my account and use the online chat to check on the status of the order. I spoke with Nichole on a few occasions. Each week I was assured the battery would arrive in a shipment next week and ship to me shortly after. So when I didn’t get a shipment notice each week I would login again and ask where it was, only to get the runaround.
Earlier this week I asked Nichole where my order was and she quickly ended the chat session. I immediately logged on again and someone else (can’t remember her name) told me that the battery would arrive on 6/29/06. I logged in today because I didn’t get any notice. I asked Nichole where the order was and she said she would check. After sitting idle for 15 minutes or so she ended the session again without a response.
I clicked on the chat link to login again, but it said it was unavailable and I could leave a message. I left a message saying to cancel my order if it wasn’t going to ship this week.
Logged in later today and my order was cancelled."
"I just had a horrible experience with batteries.com and will never use them again. I ordered my products 14 days ago and still have not received the items I ordered. The day I ordered the products, I called the customer service line and asked if they would ship out items separately b/c one of the items I was ordering was out of stock. The representative told me they would ship them out separately if one item was available and the other was not. I also asked when they expected the item that was out of stock to be available and she informed me that they were expecting a shipment in a week (I do not remember the exact date, but am certain it was not two weeks or I would have ordered it somewhere else since I wanted my battery charger for my vacation and anything more than one week would not have gotten to me in time). Well, needless to say, I just received an e-mail from them stating that my item was just shipped and the item that was in stock and "ships within 24 hours" was shipped 10 days after my order was placed. Upset with the situation, I called their customer service again to make them aware of the situation. I was told that the items I ordered, yes, now both items, were discontinued and out of stock when I ordered them regardless of whether or not at the time I ordered the item it stated online that is was actually in stock and shipped within 24 hours (or even 2-3 days at this point)> My question is then- what is the point - if it says one thing on your website when I order it and then it takes 2 WEEKS to ship out and on top of that you have to switch it with something comparable, which is not exactly the same thing as what I ordered, because the items you were selling online at the time I made my purchase were discontinued?????? I said that it would have been nice to know if the items were not going to ship when expected for them to let the customer know that. I was told this is not their policy - end of story! Nonetheless, the representative did not really seem to care at all either way. I just wanted to share with others. I would expect, at a minimum, that if they cannot get the items you ordered to you within the time they state they will, a courteous e-mail letting you know would be nice. Be warned and good-luck if you decide to go ahead and try batteries.com anyway."
"Ordered one battery in late May - 5/28 (which was listed as in stock). My PayPal account was immediately charged for the battery. Three days later I received a package from batteries.com - which contained a couple free batteries, but not the one I ordered. Since I had not received any confirmation of my order, I sent an email inquiry about a week later - but only received an automated reply. Over the next couple of weeks I sent 2-3 more emails without any reply (other than the automated reply). I tried logging onto the batteries.com web site - to track my order, but the system never showed information on my order. I filed a dispute with PayPal as I could get no response from batteries.com - which immediately brought replies from two individuals at batteries.com (one stated the item would ship around 6/16). On 6/27 I sent emails to the two individuals who had responded previously - asking to cancel my order and refund my money. On 6/28 the order had been canceled, and my money refunded."
"Battery was shipped and delivered as advertided on time. "
"Have placed 2 orders from this company. Both when they offered super discounts. Both orders arrived within reasonable, but by no means fast time. On 2nd order 1 of the AAA 4 packs looks like it exploded. Totally useless. Sent 2 emails, nothing but canned responses. For the price I paid, not worrying too much, but surprised they could have sent these batteries in the shape they arrived in. I doubt they exploded during shipping. Overall, good prices when you get some coupons, reasonable shipping, lousy customer service!"
"Bought a new Canon camcorder which came with one battery. Wanted a spare. Checked eBay. Tons of batteries fore sale for just a few bucks but with high shipping. Checked some legitimate Internet sellers and stumbled across batteries.com. Loved their web site - extremely easy to navigate. Bought a battery for $20 instead of the one Canon sells for about $60. Upon checkout, was offered a 24-pack of AA Alkalines for $6. Took them also. Shipping was a whopping $2.49!! It wasn't free but close. Ordered on a Wednesday, received the following Monday, which was fine. Packed extremely well. Came with special instructions on how to charge the battery to make it last longer. I will definitely buy from batteries.com again."
