"When my Battery Back-up beeps due to a bad battery, I don't throw it away, I replace the battery/batteries inside and save $30/$50.00. Battery Sharks can meet your needs with great prices and fast shipping!!"
"Great selection, great service, even better prices"
"They will not pickup the phone after they royally screwed this one up. These guys are the most worthless idiots in the world. These guys deserve to go out of business. "
"Overall, very poor experience. When the battery sent to me did not fit in the Car Jump Pack as advertised they told me: I was wrong and it did fit (false), all jump packs requiring an 12v 18AH battery used the same one (false), and even suggested in hook the oversized battery anyways and just leave the jump pack disassembled because I could still use it that way (VERY UNSAFE!). Now I have to go find a place to drop off the battery and wait for a refund. Not the way customer service should work when THEY make the mistake and misadvertised a product"
"The products arrived in a timely manner and were exactly as advertised. Put batteries into service with no problems whatsoever. Will buy again from BatterySharks with no hesitation."
"I ordered what battersharks' website described as a Universal Power brand batteries for replacement in my UPS. From the categories on their site, to the details page for the battery, down to the shopping cart, checkout, emailed receipt, product code and even the packing slip, everything implied I was buying a Universal Power product. Even the first line in the description says: "The replacement Universal Power UB1280-F2 (D5779) Rechargeable Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) battery meets or exceeds the OEM SLA battery specifications"
Instead, I received a SigmasTek branded battery. They shipped it quickly, but it's too bad that they hid the fact that it's a generic replacement, and you have no idea that and they don't even tell you the brand that they will ship before you order it.
I immediately contacted their customer support, who claimed that: "on all batteries it says (Replacement)" and that "they work as good as the Universal Power ones", justifying why I received the SigmasTek brand rather than the brand I, as a consumer, thought I ordered due to their advertising of the product.
At that time, I started reading review sites. I found others in the same situation, being told they have to pay a 15% restocking fee plus shipping to return the items. Please, look for yourself.
I ordered a specific brand, was sent another, and they justified it because their site said "replacement" somewhere in the details of the page. No mention or any information about the actual brand I was purchasing. This is not okay. This is deceptive to the customer."
"Although the battery I ordered was a smaller 3.5 Ahr battery, I was mistakenly shipped a larger 5.5 Ahr battery. The larger battery won't fit into my UPS. I contacted Battery Sharks and they responded to my email very quickly. Since they didn't have the battery I ordered, they gave me a complete refund - no questions asked. I my opinion, that's pretty good customer service, despite the fact that they sent the wrong battery. It ended up being cheaper for me to just keep the bigger battery!"
"I purchase a battery from these people for my Harley and it didn't last 6 months. I kept charging and recharging and decided to try to get a new one. 8 months later and I asked for a another battery and of course they refused. Save your money and buy a battery from a company that will stand behind their products! We all know that a decent battery should last 2 to 3 years or longer. At this rate I'm paying $180 for an inferior battery. I'm just glad my bike was in my garage instead of being on the road 500 miles away,
These people new when I purchased this battery but asked me to take pictures of the batteries output from a voltage meter but refused to give me a refund! Why waste my time for nothing. Also, if I had seen the warranty was only 6 months I would have never bought the piece of crap!"
"Despite negative reviews on this site but due to positive reviews on other sites, I bought a battery from batterysharks.com. It was clearly labeled a "replacement" and in the ordering sequence there was clarification that this would not be a battery of the same brand as the original. It cost $29+ with free shipping, about a third the price as equivalents on other sites. It arrived two days earlier than predicted, was only a tad larger than the original, and functions well. Give these folks serious consideration. It worked for me."
"Horrible customer service! I'll never shop here again. I ordered a battery to be shipped to Los Angeles. After checking the USPS tracking information, it said "undeliverable as addressed."
I asked him to check the shipping computer to verify. He told me that the computer does it so it can't be wrong and I should contact the post office. Obviously he has never contacted the post office in LA and sat on hold for 45 minutes. He also refused to let me speak with his supervisor. Thanks for nothing Battery Sharks. I'll just wait for them to return the package to you. Then you have to refund my money!
"
"I purchased a battery for my Tripp Lite battery back up for my computers. They sent me a battery that looked as though it was reconditioned. I put it in an it did not charge.
I tried to file my claim with in 3 days but the email address "****@****" bounced back and states "no valid MX hosts found"
I tried sending the email from different locations and different computers. I then faxed the documents and they claimed that the one that show the voltage, which they required, are blank.
They refuse to refund my money or send my a new battery or give my a valid email address.
Buy your batteries somewhere else.l"
"I ordered a battery replacement for my daughter's Razor Scooter E200, and they sent me the batteries, which were pretty scuffed up, but then again the packaging was a bit beaten up as well, so I gave the benefit of the doubt that it happened in shipping and hoped it wasn't a used product. It's Christmas Eve, so my husband just went to put the batteries in my daughter's scooter (for which this product was advertised to work), and Razor scooters have a special connection lead wire soldered to the battery. We called Razor, and in order to install this battery, I would have to buy a separate connecting wire, then solder it to this useless battery I bought from these crooks. Because soldering is something everyone is able to do, right?! Oh, and the "All claims must be made within 7 days upon receipt of merchandise" is great. Because that's just what I do when I buy a Christmas present. I open it up and put it in my daughter's scooter so she knows what she's getting. That's realistic.
Battery SHARKS is a really good name for these people. By the way, if you "sharks" are reading this, I hope you're happy. You just ruined my 11 year old's Christmas.
***Update 12/28/14***Battery Sharks immediately replied to this review, however I have yet to receive a call back from the message I left before I left my review. They claim that they never received the message. I called the phone number on my receipt and the message said it was Battery Sharks, so I doubt that. Regardless, Battery Sharks maintains that I should just cut off the wiring from my existing Razor Scooter battery and SOLDER THE WIRES myself!! My husband is very handy around the house, having built bookshelves, a desk, and even loft beds for our kids. Soldering, though? This is not something even a handy person can do, so it's something that should be put in bold at the beginning of the description; not in fine print as the last bullet point. Unless, of course, you only care about making money and not about customer service, which I'm confident is the case with Battery Sharks. Honestly, seeing all of these 5-star reviews, I wonder now if they contacted every friend and family member that they had in order to attain these 5-star reviews."
"Awesome ! One phone call and 3 days later it arrived ! Not only was it half the price of everywhere else, i popped it in the atv and it started right up ! Excellent prices ,delivery and customer service ! I would give them 5 plus stars."
"BEWARE! I bought a Yuasa battery from this seller and was shipped a Sigmastek brand battery instead! They refused to pay for return shipping of the item, even though I was not at fault. False advertisement."
“Dear Customer,
We appreciate your feedback.
BatterySharks.com sells replacement batteries, they are 100% compatible with the OEM battery. This is specified on the website in the description of each product. We try to sustain the lowest price on the market, which is the reason we work with many vendors. At the moment we had stock of SigmasTek battery, which we shipped to you. Each SLA battery we sell comes with minimum of 1 year warranty from the date it has been received.
We will accept a return if you still wish to do so. You can request RMA form at order@batterysharks.com.
If you have any questions, let us know.
Best regards,
Eve”
"Fast shipping. Looks just like the original and works just like it. If prices are as good next time I will buy again "
A rep from BatterySharks.com, batterysharks, has responded:
“Dear Customer,
Thank you for your feedback.
I apologize you are unable to use the batteries. I wanted to mention that we only carry the batteries themselves which is the reason we have indicated on the webpage that you have to reuse your preexisting hardware and wiring in order to attach the new batteries. There is also no need to get a new cables, you can cut the soldered ones as close as possible to the terminals on the old batteries and solder it onto the new ones. I understand this could prove to be an inconvenience but if you are unable to do it, you can always take it to a battery store or technician to install them.
In reference to "All claims must b made within 7 days upon receipt of merchandise", this is our policy indeed but I do not see any previous attempt to contact us besides this review and we will always try to resolve the problem even if it means making an exception to our policy. If the batteries are not performing or have low performance readings we can get them replaced free of charge. We would just require the voltage readings from each battery and their date codes which are stamped onto the top layer. Alternatively, if you prefer you can return the batteries for a full credit.
Please let me know how you wish to proceed.
Thank you for your time.

Jeannine,
The sentence that you must reuse your preexisting hardware is the second one on the webpage from this link. You will also see a suggestion that should you have any inquiries about the product you can give us a call to discuss it:
http://www.batterysharks.com/Razor-E200-p/e200_ups12-7_x2.htm
As mentioned previously, if you are uncomfortable with having to solder the wires you can take the scooter to a battery store where a technician would do it for you. Alternatively, you can check this video on how to change the batteries without having to solder them back on. You will need to get some supplies and tools first though which are listed in the video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FkQ9qCfH18
Another option would be to return the batteries for a full refund as we are willing to waive off the restocking fee.
Let me know how you wish to proceed.
Thank you for your time.
Best Regards,
Dylan”
