"I found a reference to BatterySpace for DIY supplies for bicycle lighting. Sure enough, besides just stocking a wide variety of batteries (as the name would imply), they also have some of the best headlights and switches I could find. The only problem I had with the website was that many of the items were very similar, so it took some time to figure out exactly what I needed. With that done though, the ordering process itself was easy. My order arrived quickly, although that was expected given that they're local -- I just wish I could have picked up my order to save the shipping charges."

"This is one of the WORST companies I have ever dealt with. I ordered two CR2032 LiR batteries and a charger from them. The first shipment, the batteries would not hold a charge, and the charger eventually stopped working. It came with absolutely NO documentation, and the staff was very unhelpful. There is a switch on the side of the charger that does *something* (clearly when in one position it charges, in the other it doesn't - something I figured out from trial and error), but the support staff told me the switch did nothing. They don't even know their own products!

They eventually offered to replace the product, and the second shipment, one of the cells was non-functional (wouldn't hold a charge for more than an hour in a book light). Rather than troubleshoot the issue, they refunded my money and left me with one cell and a charger for 2 - not terribly useful.

The support staff was argumentative and tried to blame me for the product's failure.

ETA: I note that they indicated they tested the batteries when returned and they were dead - their charger did that (perfect example of their staff being argumentative), not the device we put them in for use. 90 minutes of usable time *maximum* out of 2 3V batteries is completely unacceptable.

The only reason they got 1 star was because I couldn't rate it lower.

"I am impressed with Battery Space. I have shopped locally for my battery part and no one will sell them at a price I can agree with. I don't like shopping online but the price here is worth it. If the shipping charges were better I would by more! Maybe offer USPS with if it fits it ships fee. I mean, my last order I bought a battery holder but meant to order 10 of them. It was my mistake but I paid over $10. for a .75 cent item to get here. And its lighter that the box it came in. Don't get me wrong, the service and product are great and the prices can't be beat. But BatterySpace is only one step from being the best."
