"Buyer beware. When something goes wrong a company needs to stand behind their product and so far I've had no response to my tech support inquiry.

I purchased a pro series battery for my Acer Aspire laptop and have had trouble as my laptop will not start with the new battery as the sole source of power, and the power indicator does not correctly read the remaining battery life. My laptop has shut off due to a dead battery several times, even with the indicator showing a 100% charge, and shown at 0% once plugged. Even after charging all day when I'm at work, I'll return to a battery showing 0%. Once charged, the battery does work, but the indicator issue puts my work at risk, and I do not want to carry my power cord along just to have to start my laptop.

The price of the battery was refunded but I am out the shipping and handling cost to receive and send it back. Once I returned the battery, BattDepot did not provide any notification of the findings of their 'testing' or indication if they would refund or not. I had to chat with an agent who told me I would get an email in a few days. That was abouy 5 weeks ago and I've still never been notified until reseller ratings notified me that BattDepot had responded to this review. My refund had been processed a month ago, but I had to see that on my credit card statement, rather than the email I was promised.

The company may have good products and good employees, but this was not my experience, and I will never do business with them. Too bad they don't seem to care.
