"Overall my experience with BattDepot was horribly disappointing. At first I was quite excited as they claimed to stock the item I was unable to find anywhere else at the time and the price was about 10-15% lower than advertised anywhere else I found so I ordered it. The website at the time indicated they had the item in stock and it would ship in 1-3 days. However, two days later I received an email asking if they could cancel my order as they did not, in fact, have the item in stock as promised and had no estimated time line on receiving more. While disappointed, I was okay with cancelling the order and advised them to proceed with cancellation of my order. THE NEXT DAY the charge for the item showed up on my credit card statement! I emailed to find out why and did not receive a response so I found a phone number on their website for customer service and called, only to hear "Your party is not available , please leave a message." I left a message and did not receive a reply so I called back again. When I finally contacted a person I was told a refund had already been applied to my PayPal account. Here's the thing: I DIDN'T PAY WITH PAYPAL, I used a credit card. The man on the phone argued with me for about 20 minutes that I did pay with PayPal as that's how they negotiate their payments, meanwhile I was looking at my online credit card statement and seeing the charge from BattDepot plain as day. It took me a very long time to convince him I had not used PayPal, and he was very belligerent. After being assured that I would receive my refund on my credit card the next day I hung up, dissatisfied with their customer service, or lack thereof. Later that evening I received a garbled and hard to understand voicemail from their number, although I have no idea what she was saying as it sounded as though she were underwater or speaking through a turbine.
The next day I contacted my credit card company and they were able to find the refund and process it for me, but I was very unhappy with the runaround I got in trying to negotiate what I felt was a deserved refund A company can not charge you for something they had no intention of selling you. This is the only time I've ever dealt with an online company that charges BEFORE the item ships. I found this to be ludicrous. I would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE nor will I ever use their services again. "

"I purchased a replacement battery for my HP laptop. Battery they sent me does not lock in and constantly slips out. Very similar but not an exact fit. They will not refund my money or send me a new battery. They want me to send the battery back so the can "test" it themselves and decide if they should send me another battery. In the mean time I'm out $40 for shipping and have no way to use my laptop while they have the bad battery! I asked several times for help from their customer service and they stopped responding. Beware if you buy anything besides original manufacturers product. I now have their battery taped to my laptop so it won't fall out."
