"Extremely lousy service on RMA. I bought a battery and an AC adapter on Dec 21, 2011. Delivery was quick and on time but the battery stopped booting my laptop after one month of use. I followed RMA instruction to send the battery back on Feb 14. I sent tracking number on Feb 16 and received an acknowledgement. But there was no status until after I followed up on March 27. The only result I received repeatedly is that the battery is working normally and I was repeatedly asked to accept the battery back. The new battery would not boot my laptop but my old battery can boot my laptop as well as be charged in the laptop. How is it possible that the problem is with the charging circuit of my laptop? I raised this question but it was totally ignored. I was just repeatedly asked to accept the return. I'm very dissatisfied and am still waiting for a reply. Counting from the day it went out of order, I am out of it for 2 full months now.
April 12 updated:
I received the battery from RMA on Monday. It worked for 1.5 hours and dropped dead. I charged it to 100%. Used it for about 1 hour the next day and properly shut down Windows. That was the last time the battery worked. Since then, the battery does not power my laptop at all. Everything is back to the way it was before I sent it back for RMA. Meanwhile, my old battery continues to work.
