"Not good. As I expressed to them already, they forgot to put my last name and my dept, and sent to a place where there is about 6000 person working.
Plus Canada Post also decided to not deliver at the street address + door number I indicated,
but to lump it with the rest of the truckload of mail that they bring here.
Result: delays and lots of time lost tracking a package with just a first name.

Shipping a battery though postal mail seems an inocuous and fail-proof task... not.

"I ordered a replacement battery for my laptop on a Wednesday morning, and I had it by 4pm Thursday. I selected 1-3 day shipping, and I figured it would take 2 or 3 days for delivery (I live in the Maritimes, and the battery shipped from Vancouver). I was very impressed when it arrived the next day. The battery was exactly as described and was even charged. Excellent service by BattDepot!"

"I purchased two Green Series high capacity three year warranty notebook batteries from them which I paid quite a premium for. Initially, I was pleased with the service like many of the other reviewers here. One of the batteries lost half its capacity after just over 1 year. I returned it for warranty replacement. They accepted it as a defective battery to be replaced under warranty, but did not have a replacement in stock. They offered me a lower capacity non-Green battery as an interim replacement, with I drove to Rmd to pick up, saving them shipping costs.

The notebook is used for travel and was out of the country for two months. Just before it returned to Canada I sent them an e-mail summarizing the history and asking about the status of the high capacity Green Series replacement. They replied promptly and said that the replacement had been shipped and a tracking number would be sent to me. Nothing arrived. I called them after a few days inquiring as to why, and they stated that because I picked up the battery the first time, it was being held for pickup in Rmd this time also. I drove out to Rmd but there was nothing there for me to pick up. I spend an hour waiting trying to figure out why and finally returned home empty handed. When I finally called them on the phone, they had no record of the recent e-mails, offered no apology for making me drive to Rmd and waste 2 hours of my time, offered three alternatives, two of which offered solutions/products clearly inferior in value and use to what I purchased. The third alternative was a weaselly statement that they would get a high capacity Green Series replacement in at some point in time, but could not give a date. This was after I had already waited for two months.

When I explained to them that these offers were not reasonable and asked if they would listen to what I might find reasonable in the circumstances, they dismissed me out of hand - not even willing to listen to a proposal from an unhappy customer. It is the most arrogant "customer service" department I have encountered in my long life.

I saved them shipping costs by picking up an interim lesser loaner battery. I waited 2 months for a proper replacement. They sent me a reply telling me they had shipped the replacement, which later became a Rmd pickup, which then had "vanished" when I got there. When I finally contacted them again they offered me three "take-it-or-leave-it options" and were not even willing to listen to a proposal from me. You may be happy with your initial dealings with them, but if you have a problem, you can forget about service and reasonable conduct. I feel they are trying to rip me off by offering me inferior replacements or "no-date" "promises". I will not accept that, period. I will NEVER buy from them again no matter what the initial price and service may be. They have not heard the last word about this.
