"I ordered a Replacement Notebook Battery for Toshiba Satellite A105-S2021 10.8 Volt Li-ion Green Series Laptop Battery on 31 Jan 2011. The website said it was out of stock and would take 1-2 months to be shipped. I called today (21 APR 11, over 2.5 months later) and got a message machine run around at first (press this button..Yada yada...we're sorry, no one is at that number yad yada back to main menu). When I finally got ahold of someone and gave them all the details, they told me what I already knew (not in stock, comes from China) and had no idea when the battery would be arriving. I felt sorry for the guy because he was obviously in a call center (maybe on the set of Outsourced?)and was totally detached from the information he needed. I am in Customer Service and understand not everything happens the way it is supposed to. However, when the estimated timeline they provided could not be met, they should have contacted me to inform of the delay. I would have waited but instead I cancelled my order because of the uncertainty of how long I would have to wait. Had it even been ordered? Maybe they are a young company and are still learning the ways of customer service. Until they get their crap together I wont be ordering anything from them, nor will I recommend anyone else do the same. On the contrary, I will tell others to not waste months of their lives waiting for something that may never show up...or will it?...not even BattDepot knows."
"I found a commpany and product on line and order computer battery and charger becouse cheep price. Big mistake not reading reviews.
Pick up product in local werehouse/head office and got charged $5??!! My gues that is how much thay are scaming on top of every delivery coast of every custumer.
Baterry worked fine for a day and computer cable with transformer for 4 monts before started smelling like burnt plastic and ruber. Luckly I was was present and quickly unpluged commputer and wall outlett. It could have bean big fire hazard.
Phoned Batt Depot next day and left mesage, And 5 days in a row. Got finaly e-mail with returned form and fax number. Tryed to faxed for 5 days from 2 different fax mashines and no reponce. Their fax is or turned off or not existant!!!
Left few more frustrated mesages and still no any responce.
This guys are one shot buisines and thay do not know or care about custumer support and service.
Horrible and very frustrated experience even while I live 30 min from their office and wherehouse in Richmond, BC, Canada.
Their doors are always locked and no response even if you know that people are working and inside!!!
3 weeks latter I still have not resolve issue or got any responce.

"I purchased a Thinkpad replacement battery (It came with the same manufacturer for Thinkpad) on about 03/30/2010 and it was the lowest price in the internet. It shipped quickly. I used it for one year and it failed. It was under warranty and they honored it quickly professionally. I received the replacement quickly. No doubt, I will buy another battery from BattDepot. "Use someone else. Ordered a replacement power cord from BattDepot while I was on vacation. Paid extra for overnight shipping. They said they shipped it overnight, but hotel (Disney) said they never got it. Then UPS tracking says it was delivered to some location in Independence, MO. Called the number and it is disconnected. No answer from BattDepot when you call their number. Total SCAM"

"I wish to tell every one out there ,if you are looking to buy a Macbook pro battery, that you consider BattDepot. After much searching on the net, the best deal I could find was with this fine store. I even phoned them to make sure of the warranty and was assured that it had a full warranty.I received my new battery as promised on 1/19/11.I am now using the laptop battery to test it out. It works perfectly and it looks exactly like the original with aluminum face and button that shows the amount of charge.I work hard for my money.I also work hard to find where to spend it!

"I ordered a laptop battery, as I needed it asap I paid extra for UPS Express, the tracking showed it was delivered to my front door the next day. (I must give props to Battery Depot for shipping promptly) Unfortunately UPS must have delivered to wrong address as I was home all day waiting for shipment. I called Battery Depot to have a trace put on shipment and got someone who barely spoke English. They have yet to put a trace on package and when I call back only get answering service... prices are good.... service is worse than poor My Advice: pay more from someone who cares about your business"

It is impossible to talk to somebody there, yet they require a phone call to cancel order. I left a voicemail to cancel the same day and the item didnt ship for 4 more days, yet it was still not cancelled. "
"I would NOT ever use battdepot again. The battery came shipped from the USA. The battery did not work. Returning has been a major hassle. Phone calls and emails not returned immediately. One phone call was obviously routed to a foreign country as I could barely understand the operator. Instructions were to mail battery to CANADA, which can not be insured or tracked. I doubt I will ever see my refund. Return shipping to Canada was expensive. Then...they will not reimburse for shipping and they say they have to test battery before giving refund. And they may charge restock fee as well. I have no way of knowing if they ever receive it. Would have never ordered if I had known they were not USA based."
"I bought a battery for my Dell Inspiron 1501 to replace my dead 9 cell battery that came with the laptop.
Ordered on Dec 03 and got it on Dec 06.
Worked right out of the box, precharged. I am very happy with my order; at 38$ CAN, its a steal compared to the same battery for 180$ CAN on the Dell website.

"Unbelievable. They sent me what must be the wrong battery--doesn't fit my computer. Then they require me to take a picture of the two batteries side by side in order to refund my money! I've never heard of anything like it. Of course it will be different; I thought I was upgrading my battery, getting a bigger battery. "

They don't answer their phone when you try to contact them, and when my wife drove out to Richmond to pick up our order, they couldn't give it to her because she didn't have the order number. Haven't they heard of lookup by customer name? These people don't deserve to even be in business. I will never deal with them again.
Dec. 14: in response to BattDepot's comments about my review, I can only say that no matter what time of day I call and no matter which line I try, I ALWAYS get the message that they are not available right now. That doesn't sound like a high call volume, that sounds like phone lines that are not monitored but rather intentionally rooted to a machine. If that is the case, at least be honest and up front about it so I will know to just leave a message the first time rather than repeatedly calling back."
