"We ordered a new notebook computer battery from this company. It took a while to arrive & when it did it never worked correctly. It would not charge to 100% & discharged in about an hour. The company had us return it at our own expense & then returned it to us two weeks later without any explanation. There was no change. We have written them repeatedly & they have only responded twice with instructions about how to "condition" the battery, when we've requested a refund. Now it has been a month without a word from them. This company doesn't have poor customer service... They have NO customer service. Don't purchase products from this company! If you have problems they will NOT help you. "
"Should not buy with battdepot.
I have ordered two items with battdepot, a power cable and replacement battery for my notebook. The shippiment reached on scheduled but surprise the power cable is cheap quality made and the battery is not the one I ordered.
For refund, they asked to follow their warranty/refund policy and procedure to ship back the item.
First of all they keep on sending me email and replying they two version of the battery, while I have chosen the version that matches my notebook but battdepot sent another one. After getting upset and few emails later, I received and RMA# and a sentence below saying: "Unfortunately, we do not provide refund for shipping you originally paid for and the return shipping. We suggest you use the cheapest way to ship it to us".
Very bad!!!!! do not buy anything with this compagny, you are gonna lost your money and time. If finaly you received your order, it will be so cheap material made or wrong item.
WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. DO NOT ORDER!!!!!"

The battery fits on my camcorder but a message comes up saying that the battery is not recognized and will not charge.
Customer service tells me to RMA it. If they don't find anything wrong with it, I have to pay for shipping. I have a feeling the battery is fine but just isn't actually designed to communicate with my camera and the company will say there's nothing wrong with it. Also, a return would mean a 15% restocking fee.
It's not worth going through the hassle RMAing it based on other reviews on this site. But I'll never buy anything from them again.
I should have just bought the one at FutureShop for $100. I think that's what I'll do now rather than bother with the hassle of trying to return this one. "
"I purchased and adapter for my HP Pavilion DV7 Notebook. I needed it quick, they delivered it quick. However, the adapter never worked. The green light on it never came on. I had my computer technician look at it and he tested it for me and it was completely dead! The return was easy, they provided me with an RMA number right away and said that should the adapter prove to be "defective" they would also return my overnight shipping charge of $24.00, plus of course, what I paid for the adapter. They received the adapter and are now trying to tell me that there is NOTHING wrong with the adapter, in fact their "technician" had it plugged in to a computer and it was charging the battery. BE WARY, SMELLS LIKE SOME KIND OF SCAM TO ME!!! I am not an idiot when it comes to computers, I tried EVERYTHING to get this adapter to charge my notebook. I will NOT be recommending anyone to shop with Battdepot!! I feel as though they have totally taken advantage of me. "

I order ac adapter and replacement battery for my laptop and the battery is defective and I have tried by to speak to someone via phone it is totally impossible no one is ever available.
I was sent a RMA form to be completed and have tried to fax to 1-***-***-**** and this doesn't go through either. After a purchase you are stuck with the defective item because they do not respond.
I would not recommend this site for any purchase,
if you do purchase it's a risk you take it's like throwing your hard earned money in the garbage. "

"Unbeatable price. First I do not expect any outstanding service for this kind of price offered. I needed a bigger battery for my trip and found the product online, since there is lot of information at this store and called their number to make sure I am looking at the right battery for my laptop. Since there are several similar battery showed up on their web site after the search, the sale rep. there is very helpful and explained each of the listed product in great detail and finally figured which battery is the best for my laptop.
Finally got the battery and tested it out, it first worked for about 2 hrs and it quit working, tried every aspect to find out what was going on and no avail. Called their technical support number again and they walked me through the steps to make sure what exactly happened to my laptop or the battery. Actually I tried to call the laptop manufacturer tech line before and long waiting time just kicked me out. At last, they helped me to figure out my old original charger that came with the laptop is getting weak after years of use and can not charge up the battery properly. It saved my day and the trip to Geek Squad. Ordered a new charger from them, now everything just works like a charm.
Highly recommended this store and definitely will buy again.

"Purchased a battery for my son's Toshiba laptop using their battery finder & the battery # from the laptop. Took over a week to arrive. It wouldn't charge on the laptop at all. "Avoid them like the plague. I bought 2 batteries from them, for different laptops. Both were DOA. They do not respond promptly to a return authorization. This, combined with their stringent return policy meant that I had to use Express Mail to return them by their deadline. Since the return address is in Canada, this cost a whopping $37. And there is no assurance that I'll get my money back. They will do their tests. Given their lack of credibility, I do not trust them to test honestly."
