"Overall, I’ve always liked shopping Bealls, once I learned their marketing “ways”. Example: you get a coupon in the mail and not good on anything which is most of the products on”door busters days” don’t find out till you get to register. So irritating. Or things that end in .99 cents. And the help is no where around, and lines are always slow an one cashier who knows nothing. Has to call manager who knows nothing. A lot of poor trained help. Never enough help. Feel sorry for the workers. But I’m patient. (Sometimes:)"

"Crystal, the associate, was extremely rude and made it clear that I was not welcome at the store. I asked her the price of an item and she rang it up instead and expected me to pay; I didn't as the item was too expensive for my tastes. She was very smug when I said this and generally acted like she was better than me. I found an item that I liked and when I went to purchase it she was still giving me a smug look like because I couldn't afford a ludicrously expensive product I was beneath her. I tried my best to make friendly conversation, but she was cold and blunt and when the purchase was finished she treated me like an idiot. I wanted the item without a bag and told her as much. She bagged the item and told me the item is there you can take it now. Another associate was standing nearby and smirked and they were both laughing as I grabbed the bag and left. How your company can allow associates to make customers feel unwelcome and stupid is beyond me. If I had pulled any of that at my place of employment, I would have been fired. Crystal needs to learn some common decency on how to be respectful towards other people."

"Mary, a store associate is usually rude to me when I go to shop. I use to work for an old lady that over shopped and would try to return some of the merchandise she would give me a hard time and said I knew the return policy too well so, I must be scamming. She doesn't ask for my phone number so I won't get points and she is usually rude about the coupons and rewards I try to use. Mary will also try to not tell me about rewards I have available and most every other employee will. I'm not sure why she has a job helping people. She is rude and very assuming and unfriendly."

"I wanted to make a purchase on a gift card, but was told if I opened a credit card I’d save 50%. Not only did I not get 50% off, I was unable to use my gift card to pay off the balance as I was told. I was very clear with the sales associate that this is what I wanted to do, but she waited until after finishing the sale to tell me she couldn’t do it. I am very dissatisfied with this service."
