One note, I was worried that the 9 inch mattress would be too thin and result in the need for new sheets. Not so! The 11 inch is almost too deep for the sheets that I have and the 9 inch would have been sufficient.
Also, the mattress is heavy for unpacking, so plan on assistance getting the King size in the house and unpacked and on the frame.
Very comfortable so far. No smell after a couple of days and it was not obnoxious to start with."

"The mattress is nice, but the website said the bed base estimated delivery date was 5-10 days. i bought the bed on june 2nd, on the 12th i called in to find that the bed hadnt even shipped from the warehouse yet! the assured me it would likely be there following thursday (in another week) I still had not received an e-mail which said when it was due to arrive so i logged into my bedinabox account and found out it will not be here for yet ANOTHER week! "Let me start with this...IT'S THE BEST SLEEP I'VE EVER HAD. I am a 55 year old woman. I work physically on yachts and interior painting. Lately my back had been killing me. I started to think it must be my 10 year old bed. I got on the internet to look up, what else, the temperpedic. I found the B. I. B. and was impressed. So I committed without ever trying one out. Best thing I've done, including my new Mazda cx 5, which I also love. I sleep thru and my back feels fantastic in the morning. I don't feel the boyfriend getting in and out of bed. Before it was like a giant ape landing next to me. It just feels so good. No indentation like the "other" (over priced) mattresses. No smell at all. I've never written a review in my life, but felt this is so important because I've been so impressed by a product that is clearly less expensive than any other name brands. The organic materials is so important to me and should be to all. The water proof terry cloth cover has already proved to be worth while. The 30 dollar sheets for a king..best ever!

Ok, set up. The King size with 11" thick foam ( I recommend) was very heavy. Watched a video of a woman my size doing it herself. Well the must have been a twin or queen because it was heavy. I needed help to get in the door and up the stairs. No tools required to set up the frame, it came with an allen wrech and the directions were decent. Really a good construction idea and an amazing task to build something that can be reassembled so effortlessly.

"The off-gassing affects me terribly, turning my skin red and making my nose dry and throat hurt. I have to keep the window open to sleep on it to ventilate the gas. In contrast my girlfriend doesn't even notice the smell of the gas.

It is very comfortable to lay on but my first few nights on it have made my back hurt and my neck sore. I hope that in a few weeks I won't be so sore and the off gassing becomes tolerable.

update:
I have gotten more used to the bed and the off-gassing has gone down considerably. It's not gone completely but there isn't enough to irritate me anymore. I have enjoyed the bed. It is very comfortable and i get a great nights sleep on it. I no longer feel sore after sleeping on it."
