"My Canon GL2 camcorder arrived the very day they said it would, brand new with no dead pixels on LCD or CCD, with Canon registration card and Canon warranty slip. BPAV.com also sells on eBay and has remarkably GOOD feedback. Nearly 1800 feedbacks; only 90 negative (none of which were recent)...[Why didn't I bid for my camera rather than order it direct? I wanted it NOW. Chances are, as popular as this camera is and as competitively as folks were bidding on other G2s up for auction I wouldn't have saved much $ on an auction. You might want to try eBay, though.]...

My merchandise arrived via Standard Overnight promptly the next morning. They used DHL. They do provide tracking numbers for the order on their website, but don't email those out to you. I neglected to see these when I checked my order online, so I was under the impression they don't give you the option to track packages. I was wrong. That said, however, I would have preferred it if the carrier had required my personal signature for the parcel because the driver just left the package with my apartment building manager who is a flighty person. With nearly $800 worth of merchandise in the box it's not appropriate to have a landlady signing for such things. In my case, she neglects to tell residents they have packages and is difficult to chase down if you realize she's signed for something. The driver didn't attempt to deliver the parcel to me personally, which was disappointing, but that's DHL's fault, not necessarily the fault of BPAV.com. It would help with deliveries, however, if the required a signature from the person to whom the parcel is being delivered -- and no one else. Especially on big ticket items.

Box within Box packaging was adequate; all items in good condition and work fine. NOTE: This company states clearly that they do not deal in grey market goods. This is true for my purchase. The return address says it came from (a parent corporation): Nirav Corporation, Nikhil Vakharia, 1195 Moore Rd, Avon OH 4401. The addresses for BestPriceAudioVideo.com and Nirav Corp. are the same.

I had a very good experience with this company. I would ALWAYS check out a company's LATEST ratings here before ordering, but it seems BestPriceAudioVideo.com has proven to be a very solid outfit.

I amended my post here because Mike from customer service informed me that tracking numbers are available, so while my original post suggested they weren't I stand corrected. I appreciate his candor and assistance, and I would certainly use BPAV.com again!!!
