"I have to say, I had an ok experience with Bharath Plaza. The initial set is great, they have chat support that seem to atleast know decent English, so the shopping process was easier than I expected. They walked me through some of the stuff that was available, and since I was ordering on a limited time basis, they asked me to pick out from the Ready To Ship list. Which I followed, got a sherwani, as well as the matching Mojari and stole. And a turban. Thought to myself, huh, wouldn't have expected decent service from a company based in India, was probably about to mention it to a few people, when I stumbled upon these reviews.
And a decent amount was true in my case. First of all, what I ordered didn't ship at the time they told me it would ship. It shipped about 10 days after. I saw these reviews about 3 days after my order, so from then on, I made sure to pester them about shipping on a consistent enough basis. And then they sent me a shipping tracking information, which was some other order to some other company. And I made sure to tell them that I considered the transaction null and void if I didn't get the delivery by a certain date, and some other legal stuff. I saved my conversations with them, btw, incase they didn't ship my items in the promised time, so you can have proof when you file a claim. I think anyone that has some doubt should make sure to get them to agree before buying. It's not iron clad proof, but atleast your credit card company has something to go on, and will help with a refund if so necessary.
They did recover, and send my sherwani on time. My cutoff date was one day ahead, so just in the nick of time. The quality is actually pretty superb in terms of the Sherwani. I think it looks elegant, matched what I saw in the picture, and the turban looks good. They put a balloon in it, to keep the shape, which I thought was funny. The stole, however, doesn't look at great. A bit too thin, and it doesn't spread out the way I'd like it to. And the mojari definitely looks cheap, all but useless, because it looks like it's made out of paper almost, although their prices weren't that high for either of them, as compared to a few other sites I saw.
Overall, I think it was OK. They definitely have a delay in shipping, so don't trust that aspect. But the quality of the sherwani (around $300 range) was good. And since there are so many horrible reviews, I'd say make sure to get in writing (be it email, chat, whatever) before you order on what date they guarantee a delivery. "

"I googled "bharat plaza reviews" and this is what came up. I wanted to post my review somewhere so people may read it.
Pros: Indian clothes online and reasonable prices.
Cons: No follow up. They do not meet shipping deadlines. Customer service reps are next to useless unless you ask yes/no questions one at a time. Items do not fit so you may have to alter after the fact.
My advice if you choose to purchase is get ready for a hassle. Please order at least double the time ahead of what they recommend, plan on contacting them every few days, and use a credit card in case you have to dispute charges. You will receive a different answer everytime you contact support. Email copies of the chat sessions to yourself, there's a button that allows that, for dispute resolutions with your credit card company. They don't meet expectations, you dispute the charge... simple as that. "
