"I ordered a Nikon Coolpix 8700, Bilibi mislead me into thinking it was in stock. ONE MONTH LATER I cancelled the order after they billed my credit card, no camera. They cancelled the billing, then I was informed they had rebilled my credit card and would not remove the charge. I was forced to Dispute the charge through my credit card company. These people are the WORST I have ever delt with, I could go on and on about my dealings with them, but I'm sure you get the picture!"
"A day after I placed an order for an Olympus C-740 with the seller, I was called by one of the customer service operators. He tried to talk me into buying a lens, a filter, etc. and said that he was giving me a deal on it. "Could you spend $90 on it?...How about 50?" After I told him "no," he told me "ok" and said that it was going to be shipped out. I received an email within 5 minutes saying "sorry, it is now backordered." I responded to the email saying, "cancel my order." Now, two months later, a bill showed up on my credit card for August 23, for the exact amount that I ordered. That charge has been disputed, and people should stay away from this company. They try to sell you other products, and when you say "no," they claim that they are out of the merchandise, then they pull this stunt. Go somewhere else and pay more for a name you know, and one you can trust."
"Placed order for camera May 15. Confirmed per phone May 16 and told to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. Also ordered battery. Email inquiry May 27-reponse May 28, item "allocated and should arrive soon". Email inquiry June 9 - no response. Phone call June 14 - item back ordered. Should receive in 2 weeks. Email inquiry June 27 - no response. Email to cancel order on July 7 - no response. Email July 8 requesting cancellation confirmation - no response. Email July 17, again requesting confirmation of cancellation - no response. Web site still shows order with no information under "status" as of today, July 18."
"I too have had problems with this company. I have been lied to about 12 times as to when my order would be shipped. I have also asked for credit card cancellation both verbal and written with no luck their either. I did file a compaint with the NY York State Consumer Complaint Board. I have attached the link for everyone in need. http://www.consumer.state.ny.us/page3.html "
"I ordered a basic Canon digital camcorder Elura 70 on June 18th 2004 and have not heard a word or seen an update on the order traker on their web site. It is now July 15th and I have nothing, not even an estimated delivery date. Update I called and they said 5 days, I callled again in 7days and they said there was a delay in the shipment and it was another week. The website says the item is available. The order tracker still has nothing on it on the website. Last add to post, I cancelled my order today 7/20/04. There was no attempt to get me to keeep the order and they were happy I cancelled. Without buying the inflated service agreement you will never get anything from them. What a sham! If you have a problem I agree contact the NY A.G.

"I placed an order for a Fuji S7000 Camera. I went by the rating of a 4.5 out of 5 that the pricescan website displayed. I received the standard call with the up sell additions at very inflated prices. When I refused to buy anything else, the sales rep hung up. This was a clue to research this copmany further. I found reseller ratings.com and was panic struck of what I found. I called my credit card company and canceled my account and had another card re-issued. I didn't want to take any chances with these people. "
"NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY DESPITE $20 SAVINGS ON ANY PRODUCT. I ordered an Olympus C5000 at the end of May and today, cancelled the order. I immediately ordered from Buydig.com and the order was processed and shipped on the 4th of July - Sunday, no less! Bilibi's website claimed to have the camera in stock. But an email stated that there was an order problem. I called immediately and - instead of an upsell - wanted to confirm my shipping address. Usually, these guys try to upsell. Anyway, since then, no camera. When I called after the fourth week after no camera delivery, the guy on the other line told me it's on backorder - what? - and "it will come in when it comes in." I asked if I should call later in the week, he said no and repeated the same line. Bunch of crooks to me and I would rather spend an extra $20 for satisfaction. JUST SAY NO TO BILIBI.COM. WHAT A JOKE! THEY BETTER NOT CHARGE MY CARD. I CALLED THEIR 800 NUMBER AND LEFT A MESSAGE STATING MY CANCELLATION AND ALSO SENT AN EMAIL - BOTH ARE RECOMMENDED WAYS OF CANCELING AN ORDER.
Go with Buydig.com and stay away from Bilibi.com."
"I placed an order for a Pentax Optio S4I on May 23 (order number BLS61944), and it stated on the purchase page that this product was available. My problems began when I was contacted on the 25th regarding a credit card verification problem, but followed with a second call and third call on the 27or 28 requiring more verifications. I then contacted the service department June 3rd (the second date I was told I would have my order) they told me it would then arrive by the following Tuesday (June 8th). June 8th I once again received nothing. Through none of this process did I receive any email updates concerning the non shipment. I called on June 8th to find out what was going on, and i was told that bilibi was expecting a shipment which didn't arrive in, and they said they did not know when they were to expect it. I was expecting this camera to record several family events, several of which have passed, and at this point in time almost 3 weeks after placing my order don't have any idea when this product will arrive. I cancled the order today after speaking to the service department, they clamed that they send an email stating the product was on backorder, funny how I never got that message and was told it was going to be arriving any day."
"Poor service. Purchased Sony F828 and salesman pressured buyer to buy unneed items. They assured items will be shipped promptly and charged credit card immediately (they post no charge until shipment). 3 weeks lated no shipment and thru buyers persistance of knowing when camera being shipped they made many excuses. Requested refund and they used stall tactics. Buyer must now dispute charge thru credit company to get refund."
"VERY POOR SERVICE. CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD AND TOLD ME THAT ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK AND THEY NEED 3-4 WEEKS BEFORE THEY CAN SHIP. IT HAS BEEN 2 WEEKS AND HAVE NOT RECIEVED THE REFUND ON MY CREDIT CARD YET. WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE."
"Within a week of finally receiving my camera in late May, I discovered that the lenses I purchased for it in the "come-on" follow up call did not fit the camera at all, so I returned the attachments by certified mail only to have Bilibi reject the box. AmEx has credited my account and said they would notify Bilibi to contact me about returning the items. I finally got a curt email telling me to call them. When I did the customer service rep blew up at me that I'd had the attachments since April and it was my responsibility to conform to their return policies. I pointed out that had I had the camera within a reasonable time of receiving the attachments, I would have discovered much earlier that they were not fit for the designated use, as their salesman had falsely represented, and therefore the delay in returning them wasn't my fault. And if they HAD fit the camera, I wouldn't have needed to return them. She said they will not take the stuff back and will charge me again for it, and then hung up on me. And so the saga continues. I'd have to say they're the nastiest bunch to deal with I've ever run across! I really wish I'd found this site before I ever ordered from them. Btw, BLH Photo gave excellent service on the correct lens I ordered from them,a refreshing change from Bilibi."
"ON 2 APRIL I ORDERED A NIKON D70, ON 2 April A SALES MAN CALLED AND I BOUGHT AN ADDITIONAL FILTER SET, all I wanted was the uv filter, but to get it I had to buy all three.
on 2 April I received a notice giving me an account number and an order number, further stating I would not billed untill the unit is shipped. On 5 April, I checked my bank account and found that the order was paid. Since that time I have asked for an accounting on five different occasions, each time, "the ans was we thank you for you patience and will ship soon" the last time I said cancel the order on MAY 27, I CANCELL AND ASKED FOR MY MONEY. THIS IS MAY 13, AND STILL NO FUNDS RETURNED. I GUESS THE LAW IS NEXT"
"I was overall satisfied with bilibi.com. They were very friendly and courteous over the phone. My only gripe is that they didnt send out my camera and accessories til a week after I ordered it. "
"After placing my order, I had to make the mandatory call to "verify" the order - in other words, listen to their upsell attempts. After refusing, they mentioned I'd get my camera in about 3 weeks (no explanation why). That time passed and no camera. A phone call revealed that they were backorderd and that I could expect it within a week. Again, no camera. A total of 5 phone calls all resulted in optimistic arrival estimates and various lies. I even tried asking if they had it in stock before saying that I had already placed an order and they informed me they had plenty. Of course, their arrival date came and went. The next time I talked to them they said it was still backordered. I finally cancelled the order and have now talked with their billing department two times to get a refund. It's been 23 days and still nothing. This was my second order with them but the first time I succumbed to their upsell tactics and had no problems. I will tell everyone I know to avoid this company. I believe they are as shady as humanly possible."
"AVOID THIS SELLER AT ALL COSTS!!
This outfit should be hung out to dry and forced to pay punitive damages to its customers for fraud !!!
Placed order for a high-end digital camera early Monday March 15th from Bilibi.com (web site indicated camera was “available”). Received e-mail confirmation that evening stating my credit card would not be charged until item shipped. Expected to receive camera that week; when not received by following week, called to follow-up and was told the manufacturer delayed shipment one more week (now due in wk of 3/29). Salesperson also aggressively tried to push over-priced accessories which I refused. Called again the week of 3/29 and was told Bilibi had received confirmation from the manufacturer that the camera would be in the following Mon (4/5) and would be shipped via FedEx 2nd day 4/6. Called 4/5 to verify camera had arrived only to find the office closed 4/5 & 4/6! Called 4/7 and was told the office was closed due to Jewish holidays. Asked why a shipment was promised when it was known the office would be closed – “I don’t know” was response. Was also told camera hadn’t come in yet (certainly hadn’t been shipped!) and was asked to wait one more week. Found camera physically in stock elsewhere and called back that same afternoon to cancel my order. Was told I would receive e-mail confirmation of the order cancellation that evening. Called again April 8th (asking for the Customer Service manager) when e-mail confirmation had not been received. Was told by “Tito” that the order had been cancelled but that the office was behind due to the Jewish holiday and it would take 5-7 business days to receive an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation! Received my credit card statement in mail the next day (4/9) only to find I had been charged on 3/25 for the camera that had never even shipped! Called that afternoon to inquire about the charge and was told I was charged because camera had to be “drop-shipped” from the manufacturer – this was never stated in my order confirmation! Was also told it would take 7-10 business days to issue a credit! This was totally unacceptable so I demanded to speak to someone in finance and was referred to "Sara." Sara was conveniently out of the office, but I was told she would be back the following Wed (4/14 – she was out due to Jewish holiday) and that it would take 7-10 business days for credit to be issued after that! Called again 4/15 (Thur) only to be informed by Sara’s voicemail that she would be on vacation until the following week! Called back again demanding to speak with the company’s top manager or CEO only to find “Tito” on the line again. Asked who handled financial issues during Sara’s absence and was told only Sara did. When pushed harder “Tito” said there was “a girl” that worked with Sara (would not give her name) but that she was out of the office also and he did not know when she’d be back. I stated that I felt I was being scammed, the charge never should have been made and threatened legal action if a credit was not issued immediately. “Tito” said he would see to it that the credit would be issued by the following day (4/16). Checked with my credit card company 4/17 and no credit had been issued and as of today (4/18) I still have not received e-mail confirmation of the cancellation! In fact, I checked online and my order is still there and active!!
Long story short, treat this seller as criminal and do not do business with them!!!!!
